Megabyts: This is myopia, what of the uncountable muslims killed by bomb blast? Are they meant to reduce the population of muslims so that a southerner wiin elections?you are a beast. who killed the muslims? is it not the work of their hands? is it not what they chose to do? |
Nasri100: So sad indeed.so happy indeed! |
Afrocatalyst: The truth be said: if electricity tariff is not increased, no private investment in that sector, which also means no improvement. Brace up Nigerians, the journey of a thousand mile begins with the MIND. How about dat?you are a big, big fool. have you considered how much of our money (oil and gas revenues, taxes, etc ) are being invested (squandered) by the government over the years? what are investors coming to do when government has used tax payers money to build power generating plants, gas pipelines, power transmission lines, power distribution lines, procure prepaid meters, and lately energy saving bulbs? who are the investors. what are they investing? dont be carried away by cheap blackmail from corrupt government and her corrupt officials. |
icez: +10000meaning wot?? |
honeric01: Packing out so that the fighters can move in.once there are no human shields (some fulani settlers) the fulani fighters would not dare that zone. |
Megabyts: They killed fulanis and stole thier cows during the post election crisis. Now they are complaining that fulanis are attacking them.O.K, let the show begins and we will see who blinks first? There is no show; the fulanis are already packing out of the zone. confirm for yourself and report back |
waja: Ojukwu was the superman.hahahahahahahah!!!!!!! |
ckkris: No wonder PDP wins always. If these NL e-warriors could face AK47 during elections, and protect good candidates like Funsho Williams. If anyone here had vied to be Councillor ,and resist sharing of Local Govt allocations, and survived. Oh Nairaland Republic of Cyberspace, no bullets, no machetes, no kidnap. Only Jona will arrest IBB, probe Buhari's 2.8 billion NNPC money, and recover trillions of subsidy money from Otedollar,Tinubu, Folawiyo, Dantata, Dangote, Andy Uba, and many more dangerous like Bar Jimo, owner of Air Nigeria, they're too many in Ogboni, Freemason, and other secret societies. Are these nairalanders Nigerians? When they will instigate soldiers, like Abiola did, to overthrow the govt, NL e-warriors can do nothing. General Adekampe just tried, to use standard Commonwealth Military exam, to reduce the stranglehold of the born to rule over the Armed Forces, where only them qualified to be generals, only by birth. They courageously advertised in The Nation Newspaper, that they will make Nigeria uninternable. Naive e-warriors don't see how born to rule has systemically destroyed everything, to ensure that no one is able, by position, or by wealth like Abiola, to even question them, let alone dislodge them. They used the military to create enough local govts to ensure they control national assembly, and take most of Feederal Revenues. Lagos has 20 seats, how many has Kano? Do these NL e-warriors live in Nigeria? Or are they safe somewhere, waiting for who to change things, fast. But things are really changing, and must change democratically, legally. Jona is working very hard, and FDF will definitely win 2015.CRASS; DUMBER THAN THE DUMBEST! |

maga1: more to it than meets the eyez..........I SEE "AKHWAT AKWOP" SUPPLIERS HERE..you can not see boko haram suppliers |
mai gaskiya: It hs gone beyound reasonable doubt dat d whole idea of dis bh is a grand conspiracy aganst ds gov nd we nijerans hav nt been audable enuf 2 tel ds northan mad dogs 2dia senses.just becos we re blinded in hate,d northan elders hav nt ben sincer in copoeratng wit d gov 2 bring 2 an end ds madnes d way gudluk nd nija delta elders asistd yardua 2 achieve peace in dat region.nw d big questn is what do u tnk wil be d reactn of nija deltans if an hausa mistakenly coms 2 power.becos no region in nija hs monopoly 2 voilenceFar far far off! blame not the northern elders; they don't control the machinery of government, they dont control security votes, they dont have the political and intelligence, police and military/fire power. the government of nigeria has all, i mean ALL, what it takes to stop this senseless act within the shortest time possible. if the present administration can not do it, then another may do it, if the country endures. while not defending the northern elders or leaders on this bh issues, i must admit that they are helpless to the extent that there is a limit to what they can do - now mostly advice, sermonization, persuasion, coercion - which is not in the dictionary of bh. they have tangled themselves and boxed themselves to this tight uncomfortable corner that indeed they are being consumed by the works of their hands; while government is pretending all the way. i am beginning to suspect that government (GEJ & co) is deliberately wishy-washying on this issue in order to 'deal' with (punish) the north (parasites), not minding the consequences on innocent nigerians (who do not matter anyway) and the nation (in which they are not interested). |
pdozie: My take is that the reason there is uproar wrt to renaming the university to MAULAG is, may be, because citizens are frustrated. Frustrated that they are not seeing the dividends of democracy promised by FG.this is the kind of simplistic reasoning that has brought nigeria to this comatose state. THE NAME CHANGE OF UNILAG is much more than what you may imagine. on just one point: what reason do anyone on earth give for destroying what was built in more than fifty years? whether it is a road, institution, brand, house, family, kingdom, etc without the buy-in of those affected? |
KwoiZabo: How will students enter a contract with the Federal govt. through their universities while gaining admission that they will graduate with a particular name on their certificates and halfway the name is changed. This is a clear breach of contract that must be resisted. That is the simplest thing to resolve; all those admitted prior to name change would graduate with certificates bearing the former name. thereafter, the new name may reflect in the new intakes. but the case of UNILAG/MAULAG?? totally stands ALL logic on its head!!! |
guyluv: would u shout off! Why are r u relating ds to jihad or muslims? After all. Muslisms too are being killed! Or is the DIG Abubakar Ninngi not mislim?is it not the muslims that killed the DIG Abubakar Ninngi? this is their trade marktm |
ifihearam: Just wondering oowhat's your concern about the president? Did he not swore to protect the lives and property of Nigeria citizens? is that what he is doing? is he not to be 'seen doing his job' ? |
Xaurel: I hate Gej but i think its cos he's from a minority group and has no powerful backup like the past leaders, thats why he's unstable. Previous leaders have people in high places, who are oweing them favours and assist in pulling strings to ensure that he,GEJ,doesnt prevail.he's still trying to find his footing, i guess. With time,GEJ,might gain grounds and become independent.but the problem is.....there's NO timethe bolded is comparable to the dumbest of recent posts. |
Kobojunkie: Dude, stop!sorry kobo, you are taking this too far. i guess you are looking at an ideal arrangement, which in nigeria is just imaginary. wake up and face reality! this guy, gej, is still trying to reconcile himself with the position of president, which some of us believe he never imagined. that is why most times he forgets he is president. in this context, gej is very right; in an ideal democratic setting, i also doubt if he can be president of nigeria. every one knows how he came to power. even when he is convinced and constrained to act in official capacity as president, his body, mind and spirit behaves otherwise. this is nigerian politics. you cant compare it with other democracies where there is succession planning and ascendancy. remember yaradua, even when he felt he could no longer go on as president he did not give up the position; he wanted, the position as much as his health. in other climes late president yaradua would have relinquished power to take care of his health. recall the great Fidel Alejandro Castro Ruz of cuba, when his health was failing, he gave up the leadership to take care of his health. |
Kobojunkie: Wow . . . . I cannot believe I am reading this from someone who is supposedly 18, or over.wow; i'm short of words. my dear (i dont use these 2 words too often) Kobojunkie, i must confess i've been folowing your posts, and to a large extent, i find them reasonable. i've almost fallen in love with you. but for the first time i have a clear divergence with your stance on this issue. it is going to be a herculean task to convince me that gej ever dreamt of being president of the federal republic of nigeria. i think up till this day he can't imagine he is president. just take a close look at him; his mien, his utterances, actions, inactions, you'll understand what i mean. |
humblebee: im in the aviation industry, private sector though.. and i can say this is the best aviation minister we've ever had. I don't need to give facts but its my observation and im not benefiting one naira from her ministry but the truth should be told.I'm not in the aviation industry; i doubt she is 'the best aviation minister we've ever seen', she may be the gra-gra attention-seeking type. sha may be doing some superficial renovations and awarding contracts, but all these hurried infrastructural upgrade appears to be lacking in design and depth. moreover, the critical element of safety in aviation is glaringly becoming worse during her administration, considering the colossal amount of money invested in safety infrastructure in recent times, using tax payers money. also consider the arbitrary taxes and levies that are killing the operators of airlines in nigeria. that is why Nigeria has one of the costliest air fares around the globe. what are all these aviation agencies doing with the huge revenues they collect at the airports under her watch? not a fraction gets to the federation account as required by law; they squander the money and she is the major shareholder in that regard. she is not better than any of her predecessors! |
olabochayi: "Yi ba nying Sarai" kazah ni za brang"THOUGH I DON'T DECODE, I'M IN COMPLETE SUPPORT!!! |
afam4eva: Stop talking like an illiterate. A terrorist group can also be freedom fighters. The word "Terrorist" is not a big word and simply means attacking anybody whether in retaliation or otherwise.FAR FAR FAR OFF POINT !!! A TERRORIST GROUP CAN NOT BA A FREEDOM FIGHTER. YOUR DEFINITION OF TERRORIST IS COMPLETELY WRONG. THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE IS NOT FOR YOUR PRIVATE DEFINITION; TRY AND ACQUAINT YOURSELF WITH THE DOCUMENTED DEFINITION OF TERRORISM AND MILITANCY BEFORE YOU IGNORANTLY CALL SOMEONE ILLITERATE. |
LocalChamp: Christian Militants In Southern Kaduna Threaten Fulani Herdsmen, Give Seven Days Evacuation NoticeSAHARA REPORTERS' NAMING OF SO-CALLED 'AKHWAT AKWOP' AS 'A CHRISTIAN MILITANT SECT' IS MISLEADING. IF THERE IS ANY GROUP, AT ALL, GOING BY THIS NAME, AND DEEMS IT FIT TO RELEASE THIS STATEMENT, IT IS NOT A CHRISTIAN SECT. A SIMPLE CHECK BY SAHARA REPORTERS WOULD HAVE REVEALED THEIR TRUE IDENTITY. GOING BY ITS NAME ONE CAN DEDUCE, WITH EASE, THAT IT IS A TRIBAL YOUTH GROUP, WHOSE MEMBERS ARE WILLING AND ABLE TO TAKE THEIR DESTINY IN THEIR HANDS. THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO PROTECT THEMSELVES FROM PERPETUAL UNPROVOKED AGGRESSION FROM KNOWN PARTIES, WHICH IS CLAIMING THEIR LIVES RELENTLESSLY, EN MASSE, AND GOVERNMENT HAVE CONSISTENTLY FAILED IN HER DUTY TO PROTECT THEIR LIVES AND PROPERTY. THEY MAY BE CALLED MILITANTS; BUT SURELY NOT CHRISTIAN SECT. MEMBERS MAY ALSO BE CHRISTIANS, MOSLEMS, TRADITIONAL RELIGIONISTS, OR EVEN ATHEISTS. SAHARA REPORTERS SHOULD NOT BE USED AS A TOOL TO DISTRACT FROM THE ISSUE AT STAKE BY BRINGING IN A CONTROVERSIAL NAME-TAG TO CHRISTIANITY. |
slap1: Kabo and Chanchangi 'planes' are not even fit to be parked in an airport.the OP did not mention the status of the planes; for Chanchangi i'm aware most of the older planes are grounded. i guess i may be true for other carriers. |
noblezone: Enough blood has been shed for Biafra.i can imagine, with empathy, your love and concern, first for Biafra, and then for Nigeria; its pathetic and unfortunate. words may not express it perfectly. My sympathy to the dead and the wounded, and the homeless. |
Beaf: I do not see any access for disabled people. There should at least be a ramp or lift.but can you see any access for able people? |
Jenams: abysmally poor level of reasoning! there is a difference between spirituality and reality bro. wake up b4 u crash like dana airand i still ask: why the safety demonstration on every flight , including the new aircrafts on first flight? |
Mekky2010: Which Airline Do U Consider The Most Dangerous In Nigeria? Narrate Ur Experiencei guess that is part if your imagination. tell me how many people have died on Chanchangi flights. all aircrafts in the world are risky. if not why the safety demo on every flight? |
victorazy: When some ppl dey buy private jet we think say na mumu or foolishness dey worry them, now we don see the importants. Abeg I dey wait for mine to land PH airport this september "Baba God noni"as you can see, no senator/wife, governor/wife, these all fly private jets or chattered flights. |
OYINBOGOJU: CHANCHANGI AIRLINE IS A DEATH TRAPhow many people has chanchangi airline killed in all its years of operation? |
Nnenna1: Yes, this is the worst regime. Not quite true! Nigeria can be fixed; if not with ease, then with great effort. All it will take is a president who is conscious of his/her powers; contented, not given to corruption, not greedy for power, money, fame, praise, opportunity, long live; non tribal, have the will to do the right thing by distinguishing between useful and useless advice from a retinue of paid advisers, assistants, ministers, friends, etc. an empathetic president will surely succeed. |
assetstrap: I think majority of Nigerians have given up on the country, they have beaten into a drunken stupour and are in zombie mode. The thing is that even if the populace have corrupt tendencies they expect their leaders to be above it , that's why electing the right leader is criticalthat is correct. that is why leaders are chosen. you chose the right ones. anybody can aspire, even crooks; but there is always a good leader. |
