Yes they would get treated not because the doctor pays for it, but because a system has been set to cater for that and retrieve the funds later.

Like I keep saying, no country in the world offers free services at the cost of the doctor.

I am not supporting the situation of things in Nigeria, but I am against those who think a doctor should bear the financial burden of the care he offers and go on to mention the NHS as an example. I always ask them, how many NHS doctors have treated people and still go on to bear the cost because as far as offering free treatment (by will or by force) is concerned, you would be hard pressed to see those doing that better than our Nigerian doctors.

The iPhone is the most successful smarphone for a reason- more than any android device. They wouldn't be selling millions if they weren't doing something right.

Lord_Reed: I think the Chinese market doesn't. Search alibaba.com for Tecno see how many mobile phone results you'd get. Even in a google search the top results for Tecno are from Nairaland.

In that regard I do not just mean Tecno but other not-so-known Chinese brands who offer just as cheap products but with better quality than Tecno.

1. price
2. value for money
3. basic quality
4. functionality

This is exactly what I'm saying, but the bloke goes around insulting anyone who isn't using a Tecno phone like Tecno phones were any good.


Take a look at his first post on this thread where he said anyone using an iPhone is stvpid. Those people wouldn't even touch a Tecno phone with a long stick.

Seeing that the best phone you've used in your life is the Tecno N3, you should keep shut and take notes when tech is being discussed.

You use the lowest grade android phone and you call one of the best phones out there trash.

If you have ever come across an iOS device, you would realise how naive you sound. Personally, I will pick a secondhand iPhone 5 over a dozen new Tecno N3s

Just like anything iOS, it looks very neat and polished. Though I should add that not all features are novel, kudos to them for making so much changes and still keeping it polished.

They are both different OSes and should act and feel different. That not withstanding, there is always room for improvement and new features are always welcome. We should however not forget that they are meant to be different.

It's a tricky question you have here but I would be frank with you.

Both are good and quite different with their pros and cons.

Windows is more beautiful, simpler, faster and easier to use. It also has beautiful and unique hardware. Personally, I prefer the user-interface of WP to android.

Android OTOH is more matured with more options for customization (which sometimes can be a bit confusing)

On android you have the option of more apps and games but I can confidently tell you that most of the apps you would ever use are already on widows phone and its also worth noting that most apps look much better on WP. The main difference is in the area of games but the gap is closing really fast as most popular games have been ported or are being ported to WP.


In summary if you like tinkering alot with your phone and you like having alot of options to play with then android is for you but if you prefer a beautiful, simple, easy to use and unique device which is still productive then you should go for WP. All-in-all, both are good choices.

You should go for the 520 or 720. I consider the 620 to be rushed so as to fill a void then.

The 520 is the cheapest WP8 device and is a bargain for its price.
The 720 on the other hand has an outstanding design and is easily the best looking WP8 device. with also has the best battery. It's also worth noting that it has a larger screen, front camera, better back camera,better screen protection and funny enough, they are practically thesame weight but then, it's 20k higher.

It's worth noting that the price of the S3 is about 67k which is less than double that of the phantom.

Secondly, the Phantom lacks any form of screen protection and so will easily scratch.

With the S3 you're guaranteed at least 2-3 updates but on the Phantom you're stuck with ICS.

The S3 also has a better battery life in actual use maybe cos of its better processor and quite smaller screen.

Samsung products have been tried and tested and shown to be strong unlike Tecno which is rather unproven.

You also have to take into consideration the resale value. After using the S3 for 2 years you can still sell it for good money but the Phantom even if it lasts upto 2 years, would be worth peanuts.

Lastly, the S3 is in a higher social class than the Phantom which is still largely considered cheap and sub-standard.


In summary, the Phantom is a fantastic purchase for its price but the S3 is better.

Deblow: Don't mind Nokia. It used to be my favourite but like many other people who are phone freaks I decided to dump nokia some years back because of its arrogance and lack of vision. Nokia also lacks continuity and it will make a brand which as soon as it received public acceptance nokia will quickly rest the production of such a brand. Arrogance! Nokia phones are too expensive for their values as well. Imagine Nokia E90 which I bought in the year 2008 for N105, 000 having just about 128 MB RAM and less than 500MB internal storage! The phone is practically useless because u can't stream video successfully with it and what can u even do wt it? Compared to Samsung galaxy note 2 that I bought some months ago for N100k and having a 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage! Nokia really needs to do a kind of self re-appraisal and chart a new way forward with a view to getting into the mainstream of phone manufacturing in this century. ...take a cue from Samsung and and other leading giants.

But why didn't you buy the Note II in 2008?
