ajanaku2: There are certain times some religious tenets just need to be eschewed and relegated! Times like winning the Bundesliga title!Alcohol is forbidden. Paedophilia? errrrrmmmm... |
Now, before we begin to take this wonderful thread off the point, we need to define introversion in itself. An introvert will, given a choice, keep to his or her self as much as possible, but that doesn't make them shy or aloof or snobs. I love this thread, the original post is mostly true. Get an introvert to share his dream or goals with you and you'll be drowned in words. I increasingly feel introverts are, in part, made. My idea of a day out is definitely not to go to some noisy place with loud music, and so my pals think I'm "uncool". As a result, I find I'm alone most of the time I have a choice of how to pass time. An assignment to all Nlanders: you can discover real introverts on NL. They (we) are the ones who post sparingly, but, when they do post, write a lot on the topics they find interesting. Thanks for reading. |
The topic is interesting. However, I must point out that most posts are not medical fallacies, but superstitions. |
It's not good, what's bad is bad. If adults and a lot of teenagers have X-rated stuff on their phones, tabs and laptops, we still have a problem. Are we not seeing crazy guys raping girls and recording the acts? Why do you think this is happening? As if that's not bad enough, we want to have it on TV!! Those of us who think it doesn't make a difference are mistaken. It's a whole lot worse! Now our 4 to 10 year olds can have access to pornography right in our living room! Just great!! Progress, abi? |
Air strikes should not even be mentioned at all. What follows air strikes is mass exodus of refugees, inevitably infiltrated by said guerrillas (who the Govt is trying to flush out in the first place!), who use the refugee flow to spread to other areas. We then find ourselves with BH cells launching attacks from refugee camps, with loads of innocents as hostages/human shields, and no short supply of almaajiris to indoctrinate and use for cannon fodder.. .. Ohhhh.. ..Boy.. . |
Two words: Collateral Damage! Not our forté in this country. Our leaders don't give a fig about the "little people" One sadistic proverb I so much hate and which has to be wiped off our psyche is "When two elephants fight. .." |
Let's not fool ourselves here. Most people don't have all this @40. Fact. If you are one of those, you're not a failure. Not in my books you're not.. .work hard and don't steal. If you have'em all, congrats, serve God with your resources and raise godly children, cause they're the ones you'll leave behind. Thanks for reading. |
32 States? ![]() Well, I'm sure of one thing, though, Osun is NOT one of them! |
tomakint: Humble? You gotta be kiddin meOn point Bro! Most don't know Yoruba Psychology. .. If you know what "Mo rehin re" (I have seen his demise/end) means, you will understand that Baba's move can connote a callous act of gloating, a hideously macabre victory dance. I hope not, though. |
This Prof is a. Reproductive Endocrinologist...Hmmm... Ain't that, like, an expert on gonads? ![]() |

So, uh, Dude, While I catch your drift on the hoax thing, "The moral of the story is" What? Girls don't need to be careful? Other date R.ape drugs don't exist? Roofies? Ecstasy? Chei! Dis fineboi don put him peeps for deep sorrow for dis new year!! Either way, suicide or not, I feel really sad right about now... So much potential, so much hope, lotsa pride in you from your Family and friends back in Naija, If na you jump, why now? You should have sought out a human encouragement in a really good friend and hung in there! If, as I suspect, there is foul play, Almighty God will get your killers!! RIP. |
My biggest regret? Not resigning when my bosses started shoveling poo on my head! I tried to protect the job, but still lost it anyway. Thank God the worst is over, and I have a new job now. |

Please tell me it's all a lie. Tell me the rich far outnumber the poor in Nigeria. Tell me the plush mansions are more numerous than the shanty shacks and slumdog hovels. Tell me a molue driver and all his passengers choose to commute that way because the roads can't take their SUVs and Sedans. Tell me Naija is a country where the youth dare to dream because dreams come true all the time. Tell me most people will not run "four-forty" to snatch a dollar bill from some stranger handing them out for free. Tell me the common man's dream of making it in Naija is not based on the wishful thinking of hitting jackpot by opening the right bottle of beer or soft drink. I want to believe!!! But, Alas! I know better! I know the real deal, I know "wuzzup", I know the truth, I know our leaders have let us down so low we dance on the streets because some tyrant drilled a borehole! I know better, because- I am Nigerian. |
naturalwaves: and Y don't d gurls just chose fine and handsome guys as well just as most guys do 2 gurls according 2 U. Y is it dat most of dem gurls can date a Beast or even a near monkey provided he has money? Anyway U look at it,d love of money is still d point and what we are saying is very straight4wd. Girls shuld be careful so that d love of money will not drive them into early graves. SIMPLE!.Help me ask, o! Guys, will you choose a rich but ugly and overweight girl just for her money? But seriously, girls, sistas, can you swear you can't suspect your bf is into shady stuff from who with&where he hangs out, the hours he keeps, the way he doles out cash without apparent employment, etc? I think you most likely suspect but just don't care. You gladly enter a deal with the devil but grumble when he comes to collect. |
Dolly-Parton:Thanks for your post. Now I see the light... The girl dated this particular Guy because he is humble, caring and God-fearing. Get Real!!! Most girls go for money and fun these days. |
phemi01: Few girls will learn but MANY more will go this same way. Greed kills. The way SOME gals run after money and material things these days is annoying. It's not like they use d money on reasonable tins. They waste it on stupid BIG n useless bags that can contain 10 human heads, high heel shoes that look lyk ships, worthless crayons to colour their faces, fake hairs, rubbish clothes to expose their breasts, expensive phones just to show off to only God knows. U see thm snapping pix up n down to upload on DP n FB. They kip flexing with money they didn't work for or know how it came about. Be contended with what u have and work/pray for God's blessings. Awon omo elenu fife. INEC officials! What can I say? Sometimes "fun" ain't what it's cranked up to be. |
P-Square MayD Davido Wizkid All the others... The sad fact that a whole lot of people love the plonk they turn out and call music is just beyond me... What happened? When did the seasons change? These guys all sound the same! Abi, is it just me? How can we call this stuff music in the first place? I know I have annoyed a lot of people, but I think something must have happened to the evolution of the Nigerian mind for what peeps love nowadays to be accepted as good music! |
