We all can not be lawyers, doctors etc.

We don't all have to be graduates too, you know, yet we seem to write off people without degrees.

Talented people are not restricted by degrees. A sociologist can still be an inventor, an Engineer can be a romance novelist.

Besides, we too dey wait for Gorment for Naija.

bro... What about this? I did waec long ago and since I'm the best artist in school, i did brilliantly well in my fine arts. Both the textile designing, pencil sketching and paper obj. So much so that the invigilators were commending my work before they collected it. And I also answered to my name when the register was called... That verified that I was a bonafied fine arts student scheduled to write the exam.... Fast forward, some months later, result came out and I didn't find any fine arts result...... Out of the nine subjects offered, only 8 was released. Fine arts was excluded. Can you just tell me why?

Same happened to me with Agricultural Science.

My teacher was shocked my result was withheld.

In his words: "Maybe they saw you were getting 'A1'"
He saw my script as I worked, said nothing to me in the hall.
I was his best student.

WAEC Later released my result (on my certificate). It was 'A2' in Agric.
BTW, I wrote WAEC 23 Years ago (that explains the 'A2').

Causes of building collapse:

1. Greed: Substandard materials, shallow foundations, very lean concrete mixes, etc just to cut costs and line pockets.

2. Total ineptitude of the builders: Quacks everywhere. Building owners don't care to hire professionals.

3. Rushed up jobs: No waiting for concrete to build up strength before loading it with structure dead weight above.

Building collapse finish dem go dey call God name!

Things like earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanoes, etc no dey Naija. Our own "disasters" na wetin we dey do we self!

I schooled in osun state for 5 years and I can boldly say that Osun is the most peaceful state I had ever lived.
