Besides, I think that weapon is the same used by SSS. I've seen it on a few occasions. |
Nairalanders!!!!!!!! Has it even occurred to you that the gun-toting dude in the picture could be an SSS operative, part of some Governor's entourage? I thought Nigerians are smarter than this! Post is titled "Guess who this armed dude was protecting" Poster, can you prove it IRREVOCABLY that it was Pastor Adeboye? ![]() |
@ All, Before we all forget, is there only one portfolio that can possibly (or should definitely) be filled by an Engineer? Power and Steel Works and Transport (Housing?) Petroleum Who gets to fill these posts? Will Doctors love it if a vulcanizer gets Minister of health? Will Lawyers love it if an Engineer becomes AGF? Oh? Did I hear someone say " That's beside the point"? "Nation Building" is all about Engineering. Roads, Hospitals, Bridges, Power Supply, Water, Schools, Railways, Ports, Refineries, etc, we have a dire shortage of all these, and no one who has the requisite knowledge and experience fits the bill? PDP (of which GEJ is a subset) may yet spell nothing but doom for this Nation. |
Maybe y'all would be happy to hear that she died while trying to have her babies in an Ojuelegba hospital. Abegi, she and her babies survived! Thank God! Her peeps in London should come thru for her, if they love her. The Hubby just proved his love for her. Tons of "Love" ![]() |
If you can't speak English in Nigeria, you're not educated, at least in the adopted western system. Why? Take a guess: 'cause the language of instruction is English!!! ![]() If a non-western educated person can make it into a ministerial position, I think Western Education is for the birds - and Boko Haram's got a salient point!!! ![]() |
@ Ileke, God Punished Adam and Eve because they blamed Him for their mistakes! (can you beat that?) Theory of Evolution says it all happened by mistake! Keep throwing sugar, flour, milk, eggs, icing sugar and baking powder into the Pacific for 100 Million Years non-stop. What are the odds that you'll suddenly turn up with a Birthday Cake? ![]() @ Kaki P, If Church has disappointed you, try Jesus instead! I'm afraid even He is not so popular in some Churches these days! |
@ Poster, The time you spend in Church is rather minuscule compared to the time you spend at least physically out of Church. If you have a genuine relationship with the real Founder of the Church on Earth (Yeah, all other ''Founders" are counterfeits!), what really matters is how you live for Him. Leave the deceivers to their antics, just don't be deceived. No Church has the ability to get you into heaven after all. |
*Sigh* The Question is, "what makes u feel that u are a hot GiRL?" Let the ladies say what they like, We men know what we like, Any girl that likes what we like, Must surely be a fre**in' dyke! |
E.E "Doc" Smith, Skylark DuQuesne Dr. Isaac Asimov R.E Feist and Janny Wurts The Empire Series L. Ron Hubbard Destination Earth Hilarious! |
Nigeria may not be the most corrupt Nation on Earth, but it is one place where corruption is celebrated!!! Remember 'Bode George? After a brief stint in the slammer, he's given a hero's welcome! Ade Bendel's praise was sung by Musicians, Thief na "Fast guy", 419er na "Sharp man" Political thug na "Foot Soldier"! No one bats an eyelid about how peeps get rich, they only want a "piece of the action" No hope for the generations of today, Teach the babies what's right, maybe we'll stand a chance! |
I sometimes feel like NL has more Igbos than any other tribe, I wonder if it's really true. If true, how come? Any one? |
There ARE good female programmers, and there ARE good male cooks. Why bother our minds about the obvious? Your sex doesn't bar you from doing anything you want to (Good or Bad) There are female Race car drivers, female ASTRONAUTS, female Suicide Bombers, Should I go on? Male chauvinism is a dead sport! I'm a man. |
![]() Pastors, eh? When did ''Pastor'' become a job? When did ''Pastor'' become a title? Anyone who is a Christian knows that real pastors are made, by God Himself! Has it occurred to y'all that anytime you hear of ''Pastor this'' ''Pastor that'' caught doing something bad, it may be God exposing those phonies dragging God's name in the mud? God no dey do ''cover up'', o! ''Pastors'', Beware!! |
Man, what a real pickle you're in. Can't resist your fiancee's friends? Marry her, and you won't be able to resist your WIFE'S friends! Can you live with that? for life? or you wanna be another divorce statistic? So, uh, what you gonna do? I suggest you get born again. |
Hmmmmm, Vote for whomever you believe in. Hope elections will be free and fair, God help us. ![]() |
I read some of the posts, and was a bit crestfallen, Our Sistas really have good taste. Really. However, one question has been nagging at my mind: Can you find all these in one guy all at once? if yes, are there enough of these ''Knights in shiny armour'' to go round? Ladies, don't you think you can help CULTIVATE the attributes you need in your men? I've sure changed TONS for the better since I got married, ![]() Guys, una don' hear wetin dem dey find? Over to you. |
Parents of teenagers and young adults are in the best position to talk about this, Some who have ''igbo'' smoking and ''shekpe'' drinking boys will say boys are more difficult. Those with ''opio'' daughters will say it's definitely the girls. ''Train up a child (Male or Female) in the way he/she should go, and when he/she is old, he/she will not depart from it'' My advice: treat your kids equally well, lead by example, and PRAY HARD FOR THEM. START THE ABOVE EARLY. START PRAYING BEFORE THEY ARE BORN. There. |
All I want is for them to stop sending me all these unsolicited text messages. I don' tire to dey press ''delete'' ![]() They can keep their 4.995Gees. |
Please, which one you wan marry? White winsh abi black winsh? All no be winsh? @ All this our ''at all at all na in bad'' mentality will be our undoing, if we keep it up. Insist on Transparency in Goverment! In 9ja, that will be like the Perpetual Motion Machine, but it nevar hurts to dream, |
Babapupa never see this thread? Prepare to be nuked once he does! The guy's so zealous, you'll think he's Tinubu! ![]() |
Anybody who knows anything about God and about Jesus can easily draw the right conclusion about this matter. ''It is more blessed to give than to receive'' (source: BIBLE )These guys do more than receive. They take! I'm not a member of the said church, but if I was, the new year would've seen me in another church! But where I dey run go nko? |
@Babapupa, Everybody has the right to express his opinion. I have mine, so, here goes: Tinubu's words, as shown in the letters in bold, are exactly what they are: WORDS!!! Which Nigerian politician is a saint? eh? pray tell. Just because something positive is happening in Lag doesn't mean it's all good, Tinubu and ACN only need to keep a dignified silence, if the threat isn't real, and wait for FG to do their worst. Just because your hero said some words to a group of journalists, you feel you have the moral justification to insult a person you've never even met! (duh? )I said, If Tinubu's hands are clean, he has nothing to fear Babapupa, do I have to define ''if''? Okay. It means his hands may be clean, or not. However, you know that no man is perfect. If they come after Asiwaju, I'm sure they will have a case. Note that I didn't insult you. I only call on you to be a gentleman. Is that too much to ask for, on a forum like NL? |
Hi All, My small contribution to the whole melee, If Tinubu's hands are clean, he should have nothing to fear, OBJ, hands are DEFINITELY not clean, but he has nothing to fear, right now, but he'll have hell to fear, if Tinubu' current drive ever gets to put his man in Aso Villa, So, truth be told, he does have something to fear, and that is, to have all hell to fear, in the future, if ACN ever should produce a president! ![]() OBJ, I know peeps call you a lower primate ![]() but in this, I can't fault you, you no wan die for jail! ![]() is any of your friends by any way an insurance salesman? 'cause what you're doing is called "taking out an insureance policy" ![]() Asiwaju, your hands are not clean, how sad! 'cause, when they come for you, they'll have just cause! @All, I think we're the victims here! ![]() |
Question: Can you really love someone and then do something to hurt him/her so badly? Maybe if you believe you've covered you tracks and won't be found out, abi? By God's grace I'll never know what can motivate me to cheat on my wife, 'cause the day I do, I won't be able to take a look at her and not remember what I did. Forever. |
Quote: Can't Yoruba people do something good for Nigeria for once in their lives? Enemies of Nigeria. Errrrmm, I'm about to divulge my ethnicity, I think, For every evil man from any tribe, I'm sure you can find a good man (E.g Anenih Vs Oshiomhole). I'm too young on NL to trade insults with anybody, so let's leave it at that. |
Too bad this sort of thing's happening. I mean, 2000 players? If they're good enough to feel they could make it in Europe, wouldn't our local league be better off with them back in Nigeria? Their lack of faith in making it at home, coupled with the truth that they probably wouldn't make it if they stayed , is the reason they are wallowing in obscurity in Europe. However, being illegal immigrants in countries where there must be racist cops must be risky, but I trust 9ja guy now, ![]() The pple in control of Nigerian Football are a BIG part of this problem, too. |
My little contribution: The philosophy that says ''half bread is better than none'' is the philosophy of beggars!!! Is Akala good simply because he seems better than If you live in Ibadan and you say the guy has performed excellently, then na you sabi. All I know is, anytime I visit Ibadan, I can't wait to get out! |
All y'all have to do is read all the posts so far and you'll agree with me that this party may be a bad idea. On facebook, most people on your friends list are, well, your friends already, and if you follow someone on twitter, you'll not mind meeting up with him/her face to face, especially if they're celebs, abi? But NL Mr. Cork, Beaf, Dayokanu, 190 and (that lady with pink writing ) all in one place!!Kevlar, anyone? |
Nigeria, Nigeria, Nigeria, I'm sure I was born a Nigerian for a reason! But, when I hear stuff like this, (sigh) I've never been outside Nigeria, but I believe other nations are also corrupt, and now I hear Nigeria is a ''Super Power'' in the ''League of Corrupt Nations''!!! ![]() A policeman stopped me just last night, and commented that, because I was driving a Government car, I was one of the people ''wey dey chop Nigeria money'', and that I should part with some of the money I'm ''chopping''. The mindset that everyone is corrupt makes corruption, like, impossible to root out of the national psyche, as it is now a societal norm. The said cop didn't get a kobo from me, but I'm sure that he would have fleeced me bald if my papers were not complete, or something like that. NLanders should PLEASE teach their children to be straight in their dealings, and also lead them by example! Some generations along the line, after we're all gone, Naija (wey Auntie Dora? )might have a chance |
My honest, unbiased opinion: Buhari might not be the man for the job. I think the guy has a short fuse, and, even with the best of intentions, you need a lot of patience to run a country like ours. He ruled by decree as a soldier, and I believe he may not expect the democratic process to be much different, and may not like to liaise well with the lawmakers, and even the courts. He seems to me to be the kind of man who will flaunt court orders simply because he feels he is right about a matter. While OBJ was not so different, at least he showed some tact sometimes, Buhari as president might only give us ''democratic despotism'', if there ever was such a thing, where the legislators and judiciary will simply become flabby windbags, while the executive does as it pleases. My honest, unbiased opinion. ![]() |
Nigeria another Pakistan? Naaaah! We too like ourselves for this country. How many nigerians, even Boko Haram, will don explosive vests and take a one-way trip to kabblooey land? All said and done, none of all those ''experts'' can figure out why Nigeria has not gone the way of Sudan with the advent of sharia States, or had a prolonged civil war like Angola, or crashed like Zimbabwe in the face of wide spread corruption! Here's my bit: God loves this nation, and on top of that, we Nigerians love life. We enjoy living. Imagine those bad guys that blew up a world cup viewing centre being Nigerians!!! They would have been watching the match too!!! ![]() Wanton destruction just isn't our way, and those yankee control freaks should've known that by now, You can't scare us into doing what we don't want to do, we're not Americans, who believe everything the papers say. |
