ThiefOfHearts:
what did you order?
It was a rice, beans and steak dish. My dude had a fish and shrimp meal with rice and beans as well, i tasted it and it was good too. I was especially suprised at how tasty the dipping sauce for the tacos was . . . not thick and gooey, just right. We've gone back twice now

amebo22:
@jesoul
one thing i can tell is that you ve not been to the right place i also had the same notion untill i realized that to get good quality mexican food you ve to pay the price. So its worth it to pay more for good food thus i dont go there often,
I think you're right on that one. Acapulco's was very affordable though, the usual $15.99 - $22.99 per entree.

tpiah:
Chipotle Mexican Grill isnt bad. Pocket friendly too. wink
along with Moe's southwest grill are the poster children for nasty mexican food lipsrsealed sawwry

Now we both have a restaurant to try out. please when you do, dont forget to keep us updated. I may learn a thing or two Thanks
No doubt. I will put up reviews of spots I've checked out.

ThiefOfHearts:
dont believe so. I dont do Mexican food. They add too much dressing like crap. They love cheeses too much. Cant take it.
In general I agree. But my perception was altered slightly when I visited this Mexican place here in mass called "Acapulco's" it was really good and "light". I hate and don't eat cheese but most of their dishes were very do-able for someone like moi.

cos you make it seem like a fancy restaurant. whereas here it's just for cheap people to take a load off after work.  tongue

Nice cheesecake though grin

Cant stand their obnoxious screaming/singing when it's someone's birthday. It's like give them their freaky free cake and go away.

do you have Applebees too?
Lol  cheesy word. I thot I was the only one wondering what the big deal was. My 1 experience at a TGIF was very forgettable.

There's a lovely Thai Resturant in Boston. Never care for Thai food til I went to Boston for business. Coworker recommended it. Nice. "Lotus"

Price range - decent
Environment- semi casual
location- Warpole, MA
Review - great service, lovely food. nice dessert. clean, classy setting.
Hmm . . . I don't care much for thai either but if you say its nice I might be checking it out.
I dont know which is more surprising; Rondo's stats or the fact the Celtics are still playing the Bulls after 5 games. Anyway, it was obvious Rondo was only trying to commit a (very necessary) hard foul and Miller came out the worse for it. The Refs simply did not have the cojones to call a flagrant. Such inconsitencies occur in Bball like many other sports.
and that's the simple truth. Especially when its on a play that could potentially decide the outcome of a playoff game. Anyways the way I see it is if Miller made his freethrows no one would be talking about this. The bulls should be mad at him above the refs.

I'm not suprised the C's are still locked with the Bulls . . . you take away our Defensive player of the year and remove potential sixth man candidate Powe, you're left with a gaping hole leading straight to the rim. Perkins can only do so much by himself.

The Spurs did not roll over, they simply aged-over. You can only win so many titles with the same set of players. Until they find a way to bring in fresh, young blood to rejuvenate their geriatric squad, their title haul is temporarily at a stop sign.
lol smiley but I do think if Ginobili's dynamic offense was available they woulda gone to 7 games.

As for the Mavs, we've seen this movie before (just like nollywood). They play like the proverbial hare; quick out of the blocks, only to fall asleep towards the finish line and leave Mr. Cuban scowling at officials and reporters alike. grin
lol indeed we have. Question is will it have the same ending?  smiley

Oh, and the NBA should put their foot down and suspend Dwight at least for one game, na my guy, but him mess up big time! angry
David Stern has not been consistent. ATL's Smith shoved i-forget-his-name-now down to the wood after his teammate was fouled couple games ago, he wasn't punished. If that's not cause for a suspension or at least fine I dunno what is.
SportsRe: Nba Season '08/09 by JeSoul(f): 2:37pm On Apr 29, 2009
I'm not sure if the Spurs rolled over or if it was the Mavs that rolled them over but . . . that was a wimper of a series. They had no offense to match the Mavs firepower. As for Round 2, I don't think the Mavs can get past the confident Nuggets . . . it will be an intresting series.

Orlando goes up 3-2, and I hope Dwight Howard doesn't get suspended . . . but geez that elbow was right on target for broken teeth.
SportsRe: Nba Season '08/09 by JeSoul(f): 2:29pm On Apr 29, 2009
I didn't watch the Celtics-Bulls game, but witnesses say the Celtics pulled it off  cheesy

bawomolo:
what rondo did to brad miller was uncalled for. it's one thing to foul the man going for the ball but to smash someone in his head?  and the refs don't call a flagrant foul?

i wish rondo gets the same treatment in game 6.  tony allen trash talking and rondo fouling reckless is just disgusting and disrespectful.  I hope rondo gets injured in the next game. classless.  Rondo is a stupid thug that should get a call from the NBA office.
See who is whining now  tongue  true Rondo should have been tagged for a flagrant but stop overreacting, he did not mean to go dirty on Miller. Anyone who insinuates Rondo is a dirty player is smoking too much grass. Fouls have come hard from both sides during the series, this is the playoffs, get over it! If Miller had made his free throws you wouldn't be here crying tongue Infact let the Bulls go after him in game 6 . . . if they can catch him.

And news flash: Rondo has been injured the entire series. But yet has managed to average a triple double, lemme say that again RONDO IS AVERAGING A TRIPLE DOUBLE! Stop gulping hatorade and give credit where it is due jor.

rose has been chronically disappointing at the end of the games. he should be forced to shoot a billion jump shots this off season.  what happened to Marbury?
Rose is a rookie and will be inconsistent. It seems Chicago fans are placing unrealistic expectations on him.
SportsRe: Nba Season '08/09 by JeSoul(f): 8:39pm On Apr 28, 2009
Ben Gordon should man up and play jor tongue. Rondo has been averaging a triple double on one foot . . . this is the kind of stuff dynamic PG's are made of. We're all set in Beantown for another 10yrs in regards to the PG position.

It seems it is already written in the stars that Lebron and Kobe will meet in the finals . . . even me sef I am slighty excited at the prospects of watching that epic match-up in the making.

Moonstone,
shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked what happened to ur boys? Scores like that don't belong in the playoffs at all at all. If I were CP3 I'd be too ashamed to show my face in public.
TV/MoviesRe: Abeg Who Watches Fringe? by JeSoul(f): 4:01pm On Apr 28, 2009
Yessur iice smiley  I'm def watching. The last couple episodes were solid . . . i liked "Inner Child" a lot, didn't fancy "Unleashed" that much.

And thot last week's  "Bad Dreams" added a nice twist to the plot . . . Olivia finding her fellow experimented child partner and ending with Walter finding and watching a tape of olivia as a child and its his voice doing the testing  shocked  cheesy  - all very nice twists.

however I absolutely hated the shameless injection of the stripclub scene where she kisses the stripper and then the following 'sex'   angry   one of the biggest selling points for me when it comes to Fringe is the absence of sex and all that nonsense prevalent on other shows. I hope they don't go there again  angry

Ben gordon is injured but i expect him to be a true warrior and play regardless.

the bulls are winning this in 7 games. easily

Moonstone:
First, I hope Celts are truly alright. It broke my heart to see the game yesterday. I almost threw my phone at the tv. Ray Allen is very good at the 3-pt line. If they can free him up a lil' more, that will be awesome and yeah, Pierce needs to make up for KG's absence. Sometimes, I feel like he forgets that KG is no longer on the court.
lol . . . you're my kinda fan  grin Ray and Paul are just fooling around, they will close out the series in 6 or worse 7 and put all this nonsense to rest. And the bulls fans will start booing their team again . . .

About Redsox, I heard! LOL - congrats on that.
I tell you, it was beautiful to behold  grin

The Mavs are impressing me. I want that Barea boy in my team. He's just so good. I honestly think he makes up for Nowitzki's pitiful playing most times. All the other Mavs especially Howard and Terry are stepping up and Hollins has so much energy that he just defends so well. Even Dampier has put in a couple of stunning dunks.
lol I don't think your husband will be down with that  cool

Finally, Game 4 for the Hornets tonight. I'm scared to death. I have made up my mind to go and watch that particular game and if Hornets make me waste my money tonight, they will truly hate me o! angry angry angry tongue tongue tongue tongue
smiley we will look for you on tv, make sure you do enuff to attract the attention of the camera guys that way they put you on the big screen  smiley one of the highlights of my Celtic fanhood was being put up on the big screen - i was dancing during a time out - lol. Binna, I should inform you that Bawo is highly prone to hallucinations  cheesy  it's best to leave reality to bite him square in the behind and bring him back to his senses.

Moonstone:
Bawo must be happy.

Jesoul and Chiogo, why is your beautiful team so heart-wrenching? This whole thing should NEVER have gone beyond 1st OT. Silly mistakes cost y'all a 3rd game but it's all good. Whichever way, y'all are coming back to Chicago again.
I know this series could easily have been 4-0 by now if Pierce makes 1 more freethrow and 1 more shot. No sweating, they'll be aight. Besides I have been happily preoccupied this weekend thoroughly enjoying the RedSox destroy the evil yankees  grin 3 game sweep baby! grin it more than makes up the celtics losing.

And from the look of things, A-40's Mavs should win this series. I hate to count out the Spurs but they look so lethargic and old. It's too bad. And Miami is chugging along, I picked them to win and I expect at this rate they will. The Hawks are just too skittish for their own good.

and I am genuinely sad the Blazers are not looking likely to move on  sad  I like them young fellas.

Cleveland really want to sweep their series with Detroit and for the Magic me thinks they are in serious trouble
Detroit never had a chance anyways and as for Orlando, they're simply not playing well. Granted Philly is tough and scrappy but heads like Rashad, Turk and Skip have not made any impression on the series . . . I still Orlando will pull it together and win the series.

Max,
you need to be cured of this Craig infatuation and have those fantasies exorcised asap. Here's my recommendation:

2 teaspoons of X-men, concentrating on Hugh Jackman only (occasional glimpses at Cyclops is okay too)
1 shade of Sahara, focusing on Mathew Mac.
3 cups of anything with Bruce Lee
a few ounces of reels featuring the young Johnny Depp
Continuous dosage of Antonio Banderas in all his mexican flicks
and finally 8 full servings of "300" every 24 hours until Daniel Craig becomes nuthin but a distant and bad memory.

Congrats on yesterday y'all really cracked whips on Bawo's malu's it was an ugly sight  grin but mehn you guys have really suffered with injuries this season ooh even Rondo had to be carried to the locker room he was interviewed a little later and said he was ok but you wonder how much longer he can keep playing like that
I hope haters like Bawo are now begining to recognize Rondo and give him credit. Dude is averaging 20pts 10rebs and 5asts this series all on 1 foot if I may add.

Rose has been irrelevant since game 1. Consistency, consistency, consistency! you cannot stress that enough but then again he's still just a  rookie and has much to learn and he can start by watching Rondo  cool

The Lakers threw away their game in the most annoying fashion how could they possibly lose a 13 points lead in less than half a quarter? Kobe had a brickfest 4 of 23 shooting and Deron Williams killed it for the Jazz but i still don't see them winning this series
That happens few times a yr for Kobe. That was truly atrocious. But I think we should give more credit to the Jazz. They came with waaay more intensity and passion than the lakers did. Even the fans were more into it than some of the laker players.

There's a letter for you bawo

To:Bawo
What happened your Malu's i thought you guys where supposed to be doing the upsetting and not giving your fans stomach upsets with performances like last night's by the way what happened to your Rookie of the Year and why where the fans at the United Center booing after the game? after yesterday's game whose team needs life support now?
Jason Bourne does rock. Before Craig I would have thrown all the other Bonds in the sea for him. The Bond franchise was getting tired, unrealistic and losing relevance, not being grounded in real world issues. British agents are civil servants; where did these Bonds get Maclarens and Porsches and Lamborghini diablos?Cool cars, but absurd really. Enter Craig, and Casino Royale, and all that ended in one fell swoop. Everything came together in that movie; great script, great directing, great dialogie, and Judi Dench was paired with the perfect Bond for her at last. It did for the Bond franchise what Batman Begins did for Batman. You get 00 status after two killings, and Bond began without ever having killed before. His first kill was messy and inexperienced. The great thing about this Bond is, he acts. Look at the scene in Royale where he was trying to stop the truck from crashing into the plane; watch his face all the while. He's amazing. Inexperienced Bond falls in love with Eva Green, a fantastic Bond Girl, and is killed by Mr White. Filled with impossible rage and a cold thirst for revenge, he hunts QWhite Down, and Casino Royale ends. Quantum begins where Casino left off, with White in Bond's car. White escapes, but all of Quantum is about Bond's fury and hurt at the death of hus love, and his inability to forgive her. That's why he's cold and merciless. That's why, for the first tme in Bond history, Bond and the Bond girl in Quantum aren't romantically involved.

He is not aping Bourne, though I can see why you'd think so. Since he got his revenge and forgave Green at the end, he won't be a merciless bastid in his third outing.
My problem with Bond has always been the cheesiness, sissyness, excessive womanizing and unrealistic gadgets and gizmos tongue  The turn to a more ruthless Bond was obviously in response to the emergence of Bourne as the new symbol of what a super spy should be. Bond is a relic, and Craig while a solid actor just doesn't do it for moi. I thot Casino Royale was dope but QOS? very forgettable. Take off the 'Bond' label and you're left with the average action movie on the market.
