Who knows? These "hot qb prospects" have been turning out most recently to be wash jobs. I've resigned from thinking any of these "draft experts" can accurately predict who'll be good and who won't. Unfortunately a lot of the time a qb's development sometimes rests on the kind of team/offense he gets drafted into - some enable them to grow and integrate into the nfl, others turn them into "what the hell were we thinking drafting him" investments.

Eya sorry oh, we hear say the cowboy practice facility collapsed . . . I hope your luck during the reg season gets better. Or thou still has cast them permanently from your memory *cough cough* steelers fan? smiley

Christianity EtcRe: Why Do Some Christians Reject Gospel Hip Hop? by JeSoul(f): 4:36pm On May 06, 2009
Re: Why Do Some Christians Reject Gospel Hip Hop?

1. Becos they don't like hiphop music in general
2. Becos they are ignorant
3. Becos they have been poisoned and misled to believe all hiphop is evil

I remember I taught a seminar once to an audience of 60-70yr olds about gospel hiphop and most of them had the same misconceptions. I'm glad to say they weren't close minded and once they got a chance to listen to and see the lives of these musicians, they changed their minds.
@poster, I am heavily involved in gospel hiphop and can testify that God can and uses all kinds of music to bring glory to His name. One of my friends who's a rapper had this line in his song that said:

For those o'yall who say God's not in hiphop/ who gave ya'll the right to put God in a box?

Image123:
Actually christian songs are supposed to be spiritual. This is because children of God are spiritual people. They do not please the flesh/carnal man or give occasion to the flesh. They try to LIVE in the Spirit and walk in the Spirit, not according to the course of this world Ephesians2v2. Spiritual songs minister more to the spirit/than the body.'unspiritual' songs please the flesh more. Of course we have different kinds of spiritual,so stick to godly spiritual as you should know that christians are not the only spiritual people.
Lol . . . so only the slow, boring hymns are "spiritual" enough to be acceptable unto God? I see you have not been exposed to quality spirit-filled gospel hiphop. If you are willing I will direct you to some annointed and inspiring musicians in gospel hiphop.

Any Crown - by Juanita Bynum

Any crown, I've ever won I lay it down
Any praise, I'll ever gain , I give it all to you
There is nothing in this world that can't compare

(You alone are worthy 2X)

You are near to those who call, upon your name
You ever giving and never loving, you remain the same
For you open up your hand, and satisfy

(Give you all the glory 2X)

You are worthy oh Lord
Of all honor
You are worthy to receive our praise
In your presence I live
And with all I have to give
I will worship

We lost but we won, guess who's got momentum heading into game 2. Allen and Rondo each go 2-12 and we loose by 5? I am very much encouraged  smiley if Ray Ray makes that last 3 we would be 1-0 . . . Orlando be very afraid cool

I am not suprised the Lakers lost, they've been sitting home bored for over a week and looked disjointed last night. I was impressed by the energy and effort Houston brought to the floor, they came to ball! very solid all around.

Denver is not unbeatable for the Mavs, they just hafta come ready to grind it for 48 mins.

Y'all should leave Chris Bosh alone he is coming to the Mavs by the power of Mark Cuban's dinheiro  grin grin
lol is that what you're hoping for? lol it can happen sha.

I am licking my lips at the Boston and Orlando series lets see how many people Rondo would K.O this time  grin but whatever he does he better steer clear of Dwight Howard's elbow or else Leon Powe and K.G would not be the only Celts out for the season
lol Rondo will show skip to ma lou what "street ball" is allabout  cheesy  but I heard Alston got benched in favor of Reddick . . .  its about time he lived up to all that college hype anyways. We'll see.

Now what I'm looking forward to is Kobe vs. Artest and Battier vs Gasol/Odom and Yao vs. Bynum. Houston hasn't beat LA this yr but I hope for a competitive series.

ooh really? for some reason I had him pegged for 26-27 my bad. If that be the case why would his coming to Chicago be a good thang? He won't be able to keep up with Rose for long lol

I think Chris Bosh is gone, except he stills want to get paid in canadian dollars grin. He would be decent in Chicago but i don't think he is tough enough. A no.2/3 option like Gasol.

Propaganda obviously wrote that list.

While Nigeria def has its problems she doesn't deserve such low honors among the Irans and Sudans. Perhaps nigerians are unjustly prejudiced, and mostly in attitude alone, towards atheists but that is nowhere close to the stonings and beheadings and torturing taking place in the middle east & China.

I repeat propaganda wrote the list and Nigeria had probably offended him sometime last week.

they would most likely give him up for contract reasons, the wizards are amassing lots of lottery picks. that means contracts are going to be coming up soon. Caron Butler and Gilbert "i don't deserve maximum money" arenas aren't cheaper either.
Lottery picks are overrated jor. Few teams make out great with their selection when its all said and done a year later. If I were running the organization, I'd stick with a player that's already a proven baller in the league not some prospect that might end up like Kwame Brown. Well unless of course washington wants to take a shot and "rebuild", I think they could be a good team, if only they can stay healthy.

But sha sweepstakes summer is coming up soon cheesy and if the economy is still like this, less rich teams just might be able to make out okay with quality veterans. What's ur take on Chris Bosh by the way? Think he'll still be Toronto next yr?

Maybe yu're right, but a lot of those who claim to have the spirit of God often act even more stupid than monkeys. A good example is the guy who challenged the lion at UI zoo to a wrestlemania bout.
You answered your own point. A famous saying goes, "Going to church doesn't make you a christian anymore than standing in a garage makes you a cadillac". Anyone can claim anything, what we should be looking for are those who are walking the walk quietly helping and affecting peoples lives, without asking for and receiving no recognition for it.

Yep, I'm sure seeking for something aren't we all?
Yes we are smiley that's the existential question of the day. It's inherent in all of us, the quest for something greater, something bigger than what the world tells us to settle for. The bigger question is will we let the world tell us what is truth? or will we search it for ourselves?

Overall grade: Barely average
Food taste: Very average
Atmosphere: Okay
Decor & Appearance: Boring
Waiters: Good
Price: Expensive and def not worth it

Went last weekend, TSP is part of a chain of high end restaurants in Mass, but it def did not live up to any hype for me. Its a seafood restaurant but the menu somehow managed to be boring. I ended up ordering coconut shrimp in some funky sauce, minestrone soup, grilled chicken and potatoes. The only thing I liked was the soup. And at $20 - $45 bucks per entree it def was not worth it. The appearance was boring as hell. They had different kinds of fisher price toyish-looking 3D fish figures sitcking out from the wall along with framed pictures and information on the kind of fish and where it can be found . . . I came to eat, not for a biology/geography lesson. The waiters were polite but I will certainly not be going back.

actually, his problem is shot selection and not chances. You know your shot selection is awful when you shoot a three on a fast break (started by you). Ben Gordon is a guy who has to realize he is a John Terry and not a Kobe. This team can only go far with derrick rose handling the ball (and not BG dribbling to no avail for 10 secs). Tyrus Thomas is a guy who realize disappointed. a Tyrus thomas and picks trade for Antwawn Jamison or Amare stoudamire would be great.
I like Amare, but I think the impact he can have on a team is exagerrated. What exactly has he done for the Suns lately? besides disappoint mostly? We have seen he can be a beast on offense but he has that disease called inconsistency. I know he's been injured but any player who will not play defense to save his life, especially for his size and build, cannot carry a team close to the shores of the promised land - just ask stuck-in-da-1st-round McGrady.

Rose needs solid veteran help who play both ends of the floor and bring effort every night. Amare is not the knight they are looking for. I think you'd be better off with giving up less for Jamison but don't think the wizards will be dumb enuff to let him waka easy.

true talk. in no time, you , jesoul, and chiogo would have derrick rose posters on your bedroom walls grin grin

Ben gordon's problem is that he tries too much to get fouls rather than making shots. he should have gone hard on that play

nice series though. i can't complain.

we need a tall guard that can play D.  It's time for BG to go somewhere else.

i was impressed by Derrick Rose. that jump shot has improved over the season. More conditioning by Noah in the off season and he would be better
lol I thot I was the only one who remains unconvinced of Ben Gordon. He played well this series but the dude is skittish. However I'm not sure if the Bulls can do better this offseason hence why they might end up keeping him.

I think the main reason he's played well is cos he's in a contract year  tongue most players tend to do that, get paid then revert to their lazy usual behinds. Where has BG's hussle and clutch and effort been the past couple years Chicago has been struggling? the whole thing stinks to the high heavens of a set-up for a let-up - mark my words.

The Celtics are gonna get whacked by the magic.
People continue to underestimate the Celtics, we played 7games last yr in the first 2 rounds, though it was tougher this year but the Celtics are not going to get run over by Orlando, not by any stretch of the imagination.

Infact this one is going to at least 6 games, and if the world is still spinning on 23.5 degrees, the men in green will get rewarded with the Cleveland match-up  cool  Orlando does not have that killer instinct.

They don't do quite a good job of revealing God as I can think of a thousand and one ways God could have made himself known without all the controversies the bible and christianity has generated
He very well could have, but He didn't. From the scriptures we see a God that that has many sides, far too complex for the cords of our understanding to wrap around. This I believe is the problem rational people run into when trying to understand the bible and the God of the bible. The human just cannot understand God.

It will never ever make sense to you Dudu, until you realize that the bible's main purpose is not to be made sense of but to be believed and accepted by faith. There are many many things I still don't understand about the bible, but I accept and believe it by faith, because I believe in God and God reveals Himself to me in a personal way. This in turn makes me trust His word - the bible even though sometimes I don't understand it.

Putting the bible in the hands of a person without the spirit of God to reveal it is like placing a laptop in the hands of a monkey - it cannot comphrehend what it sees not matter how hard it tries.

Its not totally by choice but I couldn't leave the UK axis as moving to Canada would be too big a change for me at present (though I still intend to experience a bit of the North American way of living due to my wanderlust) and the Simpson episode was definitely more than comedy. The beauty of the bible and christianity is that there is really only one very simple theme - to know God. Its not about wisdom and knowledge and dechiphering the hidden codes and mysteries of the universe- no. It is simply to know God and to walk with Him.

The bible says that "not everything that is permissible is beneficial". Now while tatoos and piercings etc may not be a sin, usually they are not beneficial to the person. The bible teaches us to be modest and simple and not give anyone the chance to speak evil of us. In this light I would say it is better for a christian to avoid tatoos and piercings BUT are they sinful? No.

I personally don't mind tatoos and piercings . . . when moderate not like the above ojujus and co that would be a metal-detectors' worst nightmare.
