Cayon:Cayon I don't mean to be harsh but no serious-minded, God-devoted, Christ-centered christian would be asking these kinds of questions. |
i beg to differ please, i'm really tired with all this egocentrism that some people have about their religions, who says a Christian shouldn't marry someone cox he/she is not a Christian i thought all that mattered in marriage was love . some muslims do serve the same God as christians do.isnt going to cause some trouble? yes, isnt impossible to do? no
No need for you to get all worked up girl . . . I'm just telling him and everyone else what the bible teaches. The New Testament is overflowing with this command to all christians. And if he calls himself a christian, the bible teaches he should not be marrying anyone that's not a christian. Simple. Cayon:The same one. A christian should not be marrying a non-christian. |
I'd rather be a championship leprechaun than a wing-less Rocket that never makes it into space, but crashes and burns in every 1st rd of the playoffs . Leprechauns Let us UNITE!!! and shame all the naysayers The trophy will be as green as this smiley come June.I might hold out some hope for youse but Tracy's back will flare next wk, either Artest's ankle or attitude will soon act up and Yao, well, I need not say much about the #of games he's missed past few years ![]() Girl berra jump on the Lakers or Spurs bandwagon, at least they are going somewhere ![]() |
@Jesoul Y'all blew out the Kings sha so nothing do una but beware of the Cavs they are 16-0 at home and are really going to run y'all close and could overtake you sef
yeah it looks like they took out their anger on those poor Kings - almost 50pt victory |
bawomolo:*here's my hug* ![]() Cold brotha, just plain cold! lol . . . . now you betta start praying the Eagles release McNabb or else this will be replaying itself this time next yr.bawomolo:e serious reach this? ![]() anyway am an interim colts fan, indiana aint that far from chicago anywayThat's great news . . . now perhaps some of your bad luck will rub off on them by the way, mail A-40 some anti-depressants, he's going to be hurting for a long long time. |
Kai the media wankfest on the demise of the Cowboys was crazy ESPN hardly seem to have any other news today besides the firing and resignations of coaches from the Lions,Jets and Browns
lol . . . eya, its cos many heads picked them to win the SB, and not even making the playoffs is a huge disappointment. @JesoulI bet JJ is going to oust Wade, there has to be a sacrificial lamb scapegoated for the let down. As for Cassel, Kraft will be an airhead not to retain him. Brady proposed? lol . . . well at least this means his yr wasn't a total bust ![]() |
uzwu, lol . . . what else needs to be said? there's no need for him to go to his pastor. He should first go to God, and God is in His word, and His word has already said Christians should not be marrying Muslims. Simple. |
Joe, if you're truly a christian, then you must surely know that the bible says you cannot be unequally "yoked" with a non-christian? A christian has no business marrying someone of another religion. You're only asking for trouble. |
lol . . . look at all these yeye people I see your bad belle finally worked jazz on the C's on christmas day men now lakers fans go get mouth talk. Anyways I fit console myself say na we still dey wear the ring for our finger ![]() Onyinye so you're still hurting from we ending your 22-game streak last yr? girl move on! the difference is we don't care about streaks, na ring we go dey count for our finger come june. Amen to ring #2! Moonstone, girl you should be worried about your Hornets . . . they are nowhere close to championship material, and Onyinye that goes for your gas-less Rockets .
Now this is not fair everyone was hyperventilating about the Boston and Lakers game some days back between the best of the east and best of the west and tonight the worst of the east Wizards and the worst of the west Oklahoma Thunder are playing and no one is talking about it na wa ooh
hehe that is true talk my brotha, true talk ![]() |
layifioren:hehe I've been wondering who was responsible for that historical comeback now I know who to thank ![]() doyin13:lol . . . I'm with you on that one. I think Krafty will be busy buffering up our D-line this offseason. I wasn't too let down though, with an 11-5 record, that is a good season we just had some bad luck along the way. I'm adopting the Falcons & the Panthers as my playoff teams, I'm still hoping for big things from the Titans but they're looking wimpy at the moment. Jets, Lions and Browns all fire their coaches . . . lol . . . there'll be a lotta jobs available this summer. |
Pleasantries first: Hope you lovely fellas had a lovely christmas ![]() Now to football: the NFL needs to get rid of this division leaders nonsense and let the best record get into the postseason how can those useless Chargers be in with a .500 record? and the Pats are going home 11-5? ![]() Anyways e go betta . . . see as Rikky get mouth talk today . . . rikkyjen:LOL . . . you're crazy but you're right I know a few things about bragging, but most importantly, bragging always comes to an end I cannot believe the Titans limped into the playoffs like that, what a shame. And seeing how suddenly weak the AFC contenders are looking, anything is possible for those evil Colts. A-40, chai! I felt sorry for you as I watched the game, 44-6 The Pacman & Roy Williams acquisitions were total busts - JJ needs to stop taking cues from Mark Cuban. |
OLAADEGBU:You forgot our oga, AKO God saved him from an accident . And LASIEFAIRE, for God doing something life-changing for him.OlaD. . . thanks for the christmas present ![]() MerryChristmas to ALL! Though I don't personally know most of you, I love you with the love of Christ, and wish for nuthin but the best for you all as you continue to serve God wholeheartedly and continue to give Him your best as He enables you. I love those who love my God as we are all living stones fitted together and make up the temple that God delights in. It is well with you all. AMEN. ![]() |
@Jesoul I am sure you would love this piece on Brett Favre http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=Ase3o0g39cZINoCceTedvbRDubYF?slug=cr-winnersandlosers122108&prov=yhoo&type=lgns
hehe the writer was speaking my language , I indeed enjoyed the read, gracias .Its funny when they asked him about his retirement he said "this could very well be my last games" . . . now let me think, where have I heard that before? I mean the dude is nice, a hall of famer, but I think he tarnished his legacy with the way he held the GB organization hostage. He set them free after 4yrs of being in limbo, only to come back in training camp to say he's changed his mind? I used to like him but that whole diva episode has ruined it for me. Even though GB was worse this yr, I still think they made the right decision to move on w/o him. |
bawomolo:Think again brotha, think again he and luol deng are in the same league. caddies and not worth maximum moneyThey're probably waiting until they're in another contract yr and then they'll start playing hard again. Phil Jackson is complaining about the Lakers schedule . . . played yday, will play today, fly home christmas eve and then face the Celtics next day. My question is this: will he be complaining if the Celtics & Hornets were bad teams? Abeg he should stop setting the table of excuses why they'll lose come thursday Every team in the NBA plays 3games in 4nights etc, every team has their stretch of a "tough schedule". Please no whining in basketball. |
Bawo eventually the Bears will come up on the short end of all these close calls. I take back my "Death to the NY Bratts" . . . they have to beat the Dolphins for the Pats to proceed. So for one last and only time Go Favre! ![]() |
Ogaga4Luv:lol . . . So the History Channel is where you get all your facts? It always amuses me when someone makes statements and proceeds to declare them facts that are "true" and these "facts" are based on what they heard or read somewhere & their own personal beliefs on the matter. By the way, I also watch the History Channel & Discovery and just yesterday they had "The Complete Story of Jesus" series on, and it has been confirmed by other historic sources other than & independent of the bible the accounts of the final days of Jesus, that He did infact exist and did all the things the bible says He did . . . so much for the claim you watch & know your History .Christianity is not by force dearie, whether or not you believe it Jesus is LORD. If satanism is what rocks your boat, by all means indulge yourself. But know that on the last day, you will give account everything you have done and will do. And you will have no excuse when you stand before the Great Judge. Cheerios . |
Analytical:See testimony! Praise God for the life of our dear brotha's wife. May His watchful and loving eyes continue to keep you and yours safe from all harm. In Jesus holy name, Amen!what's with all this violence, robberies and shootings? God please save your people! |
blackspade:Yup. That's what I've always heard and these statistics seem to prove it. Geez, why no Nigerians in Boston now? the black population here is mostly Carribean. |
A very dry plain bagel & a cup of tea Can't wait to get home and cook some proper food. |
FifiO:wow! Praise God indeed! God who watches over us, who never lets our feet stumble, who never leaves us hopeless but grants us new mercies everyday! My dear you will live to declare the goodness of the Lord. Amen. ps. with that wall of fire hmm and you were waxing impossible when I mentioned Daniel, Peter, John etc . . . now your secret is out ![]() |
bawomolo:lol . . . I'm sure it wouldn't have been a problem if they'd handed it to the Pats huh? I expected a win but that was just the Cards should be very very worried heading into the playoffs.Hurray for the Falcons! Death to the NY Bratts! Death to the Dolphins! Death to the Chargers! because no team at .500 should be even having a shot at the playoffs ![]() Cowbillies still have a chance, I think they'll make it in. Eagles you had a good run but its time to pack it up. And men those Panthers are a force to be reckoned with. A play or two and they woulda been the ones with homefield adv. |
mehn . . . too much bad belle in here Look people, resistance is futile , just bow now to the supremacy of the Celtics and I promise you won't feel so bad when they raise that trohpy in June ![]() Me I don't even care about the breaking the bulls record, and I'm learning not to care about winning streaks . . . side effects from the Pats SB loss. I just want them to stay HEALTHLY and make it into the postseason intact. Davis was in a car accident sunday . . . this yeye snow is just screwing things up.Someone mentioned the Pistons . . . I think they'll get better as the season turns and still be top 4. The Elton Brand deal is not looking so hot right now, dude is out for a month. I considered them a serious threat prior to the season, but they have been disappointing. Iguodala signed the deal but is not producing. |
yemmyse:. . . u sure it wasn't a hallucination? j/k. abeg dream on jare, I pray we get to see the realization of this dream in our lifetime. |
JeSoul well done I love the song!
|
Why are we still talking about losers like the Chargers? I want Donovan to do well, which will not bode well for the Cowboys . . . sorry A-40 hehe the desert Cardinals will be playing in snowy Foxboro . . . this should be a walkthru for the Pats, with almost 2ft outside my house n still snowing, this should be a fun game at the stadium.NY bratts and the fins need to lose . . . I'd like to see a playoff appearance, even if we lose in the 1st rd ![]() |
bawomolo:lol, I figured as much. I hear the bulls are lookin to build a team around him. as far as rondo, my problem is the media trying to claim a BIG 4. rondo was average in kentucky and would remain average in the NBA. it's easy to drive into the lane when you have guys like pierce and KG drawing double teams. without ray allen covering his shooting deficiencies, rondo is just another bevin knight. You're partially right and partially wrong. No doubt dt's on Pierce and KG open up the lane for Rondo BUT if Rondo lacked speed and quickness he would not be able to drive like he does. Also he's among the top in the league in assists - that's not attributed to a side effect from double teams. Fact is if you took Rondo off the team, it would immediately become a slow team. No one pushes the ball and initiates the fastbreaks that Rajon does. To me he's def part of the big 4. memo to dwayne wade - chicago needs you, come home alivehehe . . . Wade has shaved at least 5yrs off his nba life with all the falls he takes. Sometimes I think he's overdoing it, ah ah, other players drive to the rim too, but only he falls and tumbles and rolls and . . . we've already seen injuries from him, me thinks he won't be very durable long term. |
wow too many heads be sipping on hatorade in here ![]() common Moonstone, you know you wanna jump on the winning team , there shall be no crashing & burning in Beantown, AMEN! ![]() Lai you said it, the champions are flocking here . . . after phelps & Bolt, next other nba players will be demanding a trade to boston hehe but you guys oh, we've sucked for a long long time now, allow us enjoy this time of prosperity, success does not last for long oh ![]() Bawo lay off hatorade a bit now , Rondo is not overrated, abi is it bad belle since he exposed Rose's lack of defensive ability last night? ![]() I'm not worried about the Lakers, they'll still win the west if they stick to their current philosophy and aim to get better on defense. But in order to beat boston, they'll need to attain a whole nother level of stoppability - may it not be so - Amen . It's the Cavs that worry me a bit, they're playing great ball. I hear they might be trading for Shawn Marion . . . Eya A-40 I feel for you my brother. At this point, I think Cuban must trade to shake things up, this current squad is not good enuff at all. |
and you're right Favre had a decent season . . . but did he deserve the nod ahead of Penn, Cassel and perhaps even Rivers? a big hell no. Fins, Pats n Jets all have the same record, based on qb statistics he was clearly the worst of all three. I didn't know pro bowl selections were based on sentimental reasons ![]() |
@Jesoul I think Kobe was the man that generated the most media-frenzy from ESPN last season
lol you're right kobe got a lotta airplay . . . but my gosh I don't know how I came to know Chris Paul's hobbys, what his guest room looks like, his off court activities, and I still don't know where Pierce shops lol when are they doing a special on him and Ray Allen? abeg they should show us real news jor. |
I fear that placing democracy in the hands of the Iraqis will be like putting a laptop in the hands of a monkey . . . they have no idea what to do with it. They have been living since the begining of their existence under iron fists, its all they know. And I largely suspect as soon as the US is out, they'll revert back to their old ways. It's sad though. I do suspect there's a small remnant of educated Iraqis who dream of a better & brighter future for themselves and their children. The real question is do they outnumber the remnant of Saddams loyal henchmen? Time will tell. But if history truly repeats itself, we already know how this story will end. |
Perhaps Rivers could make a case the problem is that his team is at 6-8 and not making the playoffs. Cassel has actually been consistent the past 6-7 games, with back-to-back 400yd games. Favre is leading the league in Interceptions he has no business being in Hawaii next yr.Espn does that in every sport it gets really annoying sometimes. Last yr it was Chris Paul in the nba, yr before Steve Nash, this yr its Lebron. They pick a player they like and then put him on replay until the next diva comes along. |
actually meant y are there only bostonian females here
hehe becos all the guys are busy shovelling the snow ![]() rockets can still give the excuse that they've not been healthy, c d way they played nuggets?and with the unpredictable west, they hav a good chanceTrue. However I won't be holding my breath, I expect them to suck come playoffs. i just hope lakers hav learnt the team defence, etched it in their memory and want to play freely till playoff time or else going into the playoffs with their present style offers upsets of all kindTheir style no doubt can survive the west, its the rising eastern defensive powers they need to worry about. its not that we hate celts but they have to lose to maintain normalcy, how can somebody just be winning like that. . . . off-day, on-day,any day, sat, sun, mon, tues, wed, thurs, fri, morning, afternoon, night, all they do is winhehe nows the time for us to smile for it will soon be gone . . . 2yrs ago we were the laughing stock of the league, 2nd worst record . . . wow seems like such a long time ago. The down side is tickets are mad expensive now imagine doling out $100 bucks for balcony seats |
