Christianity EtcRe: Marriage Between Xtian & Muslim? by JeSoul(f): 3:34pm On Dec 30, 2008
Cayon:
Y'all need to sit down and talk over certain things like:-

which religion will be respected in your wedding - Christian, Muslim or both?
If you plan to have a family - which religion is for your children
Will you go to her church and will she go to your Mosque.
And how to decorate your houses duriing religious holidays - just one, both or none.
If you guys fail to do so, it means there will be problems

Personally i think its best to be in a relationship with someone whose religion match yours, so as you grow in your relationship, your faith can grow at the same time. The more things you have in common, the better a relationship can be. saying this one of you have to convert either to Christianity or Muslim undecided

Good night and good luck
Cayon I don't mean to be harsh but no serious-minded, God-devoted, Christ-centered christian would be asking these kinds of questions.

isnt going to cause some trouble? yes, isnt impossible to do? no[/quote]No need for you to get all worked up girl . . . I'm just telling him and everyone else what the bible teaches. The New Testament is overflowing with this command to all christians. And if he calls himself a christian, the bible teaches he should not be marrying anyone that's not a christian. Simple.

Cayon:
Based on the scripture, you are correct with what you say.  Question: Lets say Joe was marrying a Jew - what advice would you give? Just curious
The same one. A christian should not be marrying a non-christian.

@Jesoul
That team has too many issues,Wade Phillips is just a puppet and Jerry Jones is not meddling wisely all our acquisitions have been flops and there are too many players with Texas-sized egos in that team there is no clear leader one moment its T.O the next its Romo and then Jerry Jones
As for Romo i am simply sick of seeing him choke in big game after big game could you please give us Cassel? Ohh and i heard Brady proposed to Gisele  cheesy
I bet JJ is going to oust Wade, there has to be a sacrificial lamb scapegoated for the let down. As for Cassel, Kraft will be an airhead not to retain him.

Absolutely disgusting. I am officially not supporting any team any more because it seems like I bring bad luck to teams. Cowboys, Mavericks, Yankees and Arsenal to name a few. Like I've said before, they just don't lose, they lose in historical ways. Like Dallas losing to Miami in the NBA finals after being up by 2 games, like Yankees losing to B Sox after being up 3 games in the final series etc. No mas, it's a done deal!
hehe I've been wondering who was responsible for that historical comeback grin now I know who to thank grin cool

Oh well.
lol . . . I'm with you on that one. I think Krafty will be busy buffering up our D-line this offseason. I wasn't too let down though, with an 11-5 record, that is a good season we just had some bad luck along the way.

I'm adopting the Falcons & the Panthers as my playoff teams, I'm still hoping for big things from the Titans but they're looking wimpy at the moment.

Jets, Lions and Browns all fire their coaches . . . lol . . . there'll be a lotta jobs available this summer.

And seeing how suddenly weak the AFC contenders are looking, anything is possible for those evil Colts.

  A-40,
chai! I felt sorry for you as I watched the game, 44-6  shocked  shocked Lawd hav merci! If I were a fan I'd be worried 'bout Romo. He looked too calm & chill & smiley, wasn't visibly disappointed about how poorly he & the team played. A good atittude towards life BUT not towards winning. He doesn't have the stuff that champions are made of. That's why he will continue to fall short in big moments.
The Pacman & Roy Williams acquisitions were total busts - JJ needs to stop taking cues from Mark Cuban.

Its funny when they asked him about his retirement he said "this could very well be my last games" . . . now let me think, where have I heard that before?
I mean the dude is nice, a hall of famer, but I think he tarnished his legacy with the way he held the GB organization hostage. He set them free after 4yrs of being in limbo, only to come back in training camp to say he's changed his mind?  huh  I used to like him but that whole diva episode has ruined it for me. Even though GB was worse this yr, I still think they made the right decision to move on w/o him.

It always amuses me when someone makes statements and proceeds to declare them facts that are "true" and these "facts" are based on what they heard or read somewhere & their own personal beliefs on the matter.

By the way, I also watch the History Channel & Discovery and just yesterday they had "The Complete Story of Jesus" series on, and it has been confirmed by other historic sources other than & independent of the bible the accounts of the final days of Jesus, that He did infact exist and did all the things the bible says He did . . . so much for the claim you watch & know your History cool.

Christianity is not by force dearie, whether or not you believe it Jesus is LORD. If satanism is what rocks your boat, by all means indulge yourself. Beloved, we are almost there!  The year is about rounding up.  And there is something about rounding up the year- The Lord crowns it (or rounds it up) with His goodness.  I thank God for all the testimonies to prove God is still crowning our year with His goodness in our lives.

Sing Halleluyah with me folks!  Just 2 days ago (Sunday) around 3.30pm, I heard the sound of gun very close to my apartment- not really sure where it came from.  The next thing was my wife who was lying down on the bed calling me to come that something sprayed on her.  On checking, I discovered a small hole on the ceiling and I knew it has to be bullet because of the sound I just heard.  Lo and behold, there was the bullet on the bed, not too far from where my wife laid.  The ceiling fragments sprayed on her (as the bullet entered from the roof!) but the bullet did not touch her!  I am keeping the bullet as a sign of God's steadfast love and faithfulness that did not allow me to mourn.

What shall I say to this God?  Papa, you too much!!!!
See testimony!  shocked  smiley  Praise God for the life of our dear brotha's wife. May His watchful and loving eyes continue to keep you and yours safe from all harm. In Jesus holy name, Amen!

dear jesoul, how dare you say anything bad about my derrick rose.  derrick rose can do no wrong in my eyes  grin
lol, I figured as much. I hear the bulls are lookin to build a team around him.

as far as rondo, my problem is the media trying to claim a BIG 4. rondo was average in kentucky and would remain average in the NBA.  it's easy to drive into the lane when you have guys like pierce and KG drawing double teams.  without ray allen covering his shooting deficiencies, rondo is just another bevin knight.
You're partially right and partially wrong. No doubt dt's on Pierce and KG open up the lane for Rondo BUT if Rondo lacked speed and quickness he would not be able to drive like he does. Also he's among the top in the league in assists - that's not attributed to a side effect from double teams.
Fact is if you took Rondo off the team, it would immediately become a slow team. No one pushes the ball and initiates the fastbreaks that Rajon does. To me he's def part of the big 4.

memo to dwayne wade - chicago needs you, come home alive grin
hehe . . . Wade has shaved at least 5yrs off his nba life with all the falls he takes. Sometimes I think he's overdoing it, ah ah, other players drive to the rim too, but only he falls and tumbles and rolls and . . . we've already seen injuries from him, me thinks he won't be very durable long term.

I'm not worried about the Lakers, they'll still win the west if they stick to their current philosophy and aim to get better on defense. I fear that placing democracy in the hands of the Iraqis will be like putting a laptop in the hands of a monkey . . . they have no idea what to do with it.

They have been living since the begining of their existence under iron fists, its all they know. And I largely suspect as soon as the US is out, they'll revert back to their old ways. It's sad though.

I do suspect there's a small remnant of educated Iraqis who dream of a better & brighter future for themselves and their children. The real question is do they outnumber the remnant of Saddams loyal henchmen? Time will tell. But if history truly repeats itself, we already know how this story will end.
SportsRe: NFL 11-12 Season Is Here: Where Are All The NFL Fans? by JeSoul(op): 3:22pm On Dec 19, 2008
Perhaps Rivers could make a case the problem is that his team is at 6-8 and not making the playoffs.

Cassel has actually been consistent the past 6-7 games, with back-to-back 400yd games.

Favre is leading the league in Interceptions angry he has no business being in Hawaii next yr.

Espn does that in every sport angry it gets really annoying sometimes. Last yr it was Chris Paul in the nba, yr before Steve Nash, this yr its Lebron. They pick a player they like and then put him on replay until the next diva comes along.

True. However I won't be holding my breath, I expect them to suck come playoffs.

i just hope lakers hav learnt the team defence, etched it in their memory and want to play freely till playoff time or else going into the playoffs with their present style offers upsets of all kind
Their style no doubt can survive the west, its the rising eastern defensive powers they need to worry about.

its not that we hate celts but they have to lose to maintain normalcy, how can somebody just be winning like that. . . . off-day, on-day,any day, sat, sun, mon, tues, wed, thurs, fri, morning, afternoon, night, all they do is win
hehe grin nows the time for us to smile for it will soon be gone . . . 2yrs ago we were the laughing stock of the league, 2nd worst record . . . wow seems like such a long time ago. The down side is tickets are mad expensive now angry imagine doling out $100 bucks for balcony seats
