Beating up a lady is not good at all. But we  have to remember that we are not God we are mere mortals hence we are bound to make mistakes. Ladies are very insulting. infact if you follow them with the way they behave you will kill someone. But guys no matter what a lady does to you just try and control your anger for you have to know that ladies are like newly born babies. They have very shallow mentality. No matter how intelligient a lady is when it comes to the things of love she becomes a complete dump. My guys you can always use your brain to beat them. I believe that the dullest guy is far more better than the most intelligent lady when it comes to love.

The Minister of Information and Communications, Prof. Dora Akunyili, has lamented the shutting down of the nation's official website – www.nigeria.gov.ng – as a result of the inability of government officials to maintain the national flagship.

Akunyili, who spoke at the first meeting she had with heads of parastatals under the ministry in Abuja late on Tuesday, also gave all agencies in the ministry a deadline of March 2009 to establish their own websites.

She also barred officials of the ministry and the parastatals from receiving free telephone lines and cable televisions, directing those that already had such gifts to return them before the end of January 2009.

Noting that the incidence of poor telecommunications services has continued, the minister directed the Nigerian Communications Commission to monitor and report quality of service parameters on regular weekly basis.

She said, "Today, we live in an information age where access to information should be made readily available, and yet information about Nigeria from Nigeria is not easily accessible. I find it disheartening that the Ministry of Information and Communications does not have a website.

"It is also very discomforting that our flagship corporation, Nigerian Television Authority, does not have a website. It is unfortunate that the official government website www.nigeria.gov.ng, which was launched in 2005, and recoded 1.3 million visits in its first year, making it one of the most viable national websites in the world, has been shut down for many months. This website, which serves as a gateway to Nigeria, must be reactivated.

"Every parastatal must have an active and vibrant website up and running before the end of March 2009, and I am ready to support you to make sure that this happens. On our part, before the end of March 2009, this ministry will create a vibrant website that will enable people around the world to find everything they need to know about Nigeria in a click. This will be an interactive website that will allow people to ask questions and get answers. It will also provide polling opportunities as an avenue to know the feelings and desires of our people on various issues."

On telecommunications, Akunyili said it was general knowledge that services rendered by telecom operators were poor, adding that most Nigerians were unhappy and expressing displeasure over the services of mobile telecom operators.

The minister said the incidences of dropped calls, poor voice signal quality and poor reception have caused unnecessary financial burdens for Nigerians as they carry multiple handsets to be able to connect to working networks.

Orangutans can help each other get food by trading tokens, scientists have discovered - but only if the help goes in both directions.

Researchers from the University of St Andrews found orangutans could learn the value of tokens and trade them, helping each other win bananas.

An article in Biology Letters, claims it is the first evidence of "calculated reciprocity" in non-human primates.

Gorillas and chimpanzees were much less willing to co-operate, they report.

Two orangutans - Bim and Dok - who live in Leipzig Zoo, Germany, were especially good at helping each other.

Initially, they were given several sets of tokens, and learned the value of the different types. It's not just humans that calculate about giving; orangutans do that too

An animal could exchange one type for bananas for itself, another type could be used to gain bananas for a partner, and a third had no value.

Initially, Dok, the female, was especially good at swapping tokens to get bananas for Bim, the male. Sometimes Bim would point at the tokens to encourage her.

But he was less interested in trading tokens that would win bananas for her.

As she became less willing to help him out, Bim responded by trading more and more, until their efforts were more or less equal.[/i]

"So we have a calculation behind the giving," explained Valerie Dufour who led the research at the Scottish university.

"[i][b]If you don't give me enough, then I don't give you either; but if you give me enough, OK, then I buy your co-operation, and I secure it by giving too."

Many animals exchange goods and services with each other; the grooming of primates is an obvious example.

But the researchers say there has been no experimental evidence before of "calculated reciprocity", where animals adapt their own behaviour in response to how another is helping them.

"It's not just humans that calculate about giving, and it's not just humans who expect to be given something in return when they are co-operative," Dr Dufour told BBC News.

"Orangutans do that too."

However, other apes - chimpanzees, gorillas and bonobos - were less able or willing to play the game.
