Bro, let's look at what we refer to as love in most cases. It is when a lady finds a guy attractive due to his physical appearance i.e when she fancies his looks, next thing she begins to fantasize about him and claims she is in love. But you and I know that a guy's looks cannot be guaranteed to remain steady till old age. Just like money, beauty also vanishes. Besides, for every good looking guy, there are thousands other guys who look better. Analytical chemistry has no need for physics. You can stick to naming individual courses in pharmacy, but none of the ones you've mentioned so far requires O'level physics knowledge.

No need making this argument with you, those who designed pharmacy curriculum know better than you. Meanwhile, if you think that pharmacy has no need for physics, send your ward who is deficient in physics to pharmacy school. Even if you manage to bribe his way into the school without having the full admission requirement, you wont be there to help him pass his exams.

In pharmacy, there is a course in pharm chem called pharmaceutical analysis which students take in parts 3 and 5 (in my school). Without a sound knowledge of physics, you won't understand that course because you get to study things like instrumentation in analysis. This requires a sound knowledge of optics, waves, motion, electricity, mechanics, temperature etc. Now, a student with poor foundation in physics cannot cope in that course.

Also, in pharmaceutics/pharm tech, you need a good knowledge of physics to understand the various principles governing mixing of active ingredients and excipients during compounding of drugs, and also in understanding the working principles of the various machineries used in drug production. Also, temperature and humidity plays a crucial role in maintaining drug stability, hence you need the knowledge of the two to during production and storage of your drugs. Knowledge of viscosity and surface tension is very important in the compounding of liquid and semisolid products like syrups, suspensions, emulsions, creams and ointments.

The list is endless bro, get yourself informed before you type on a topic you don't understand.

Who need physics to study pharmacy, I may not be in the Science field but I know for sure that with English Language, Chemistry and Biology, & Mathematics + any other subjects from either the Arts or the Social Science would enable you to read , Pharmacy, Medicine and other medical related courses

U only need Physics when you want to study Engineering Courses, ls check your brochure.

Go ahead and apply, you can use that result to study pharmacy as long as you have Chemistry and Biology.

Stop exposing your ignorance on a public forum. Physics is a core science that finds application in almost all pharmaceutical and medical sciences. You can never understand courses like pharmaceutics/pharm tech, pharmaceutical chemistry etc without a sound knowledge of physics.

Biochem and Pharmacy are different worlds apart. Biochem is a research-based course aimed at studying the chemistry of a living system i.e the chemical make up of cells and how these chemicals interact at molecular level to bring about life.

Pharmacy on the other hand is the scientific study of the art of producing and dispensing drugs, as well as how drugs exert their effects on the living system, how the body affects the effects of drugs, and the various laws governing the manufacture, distribution, dispensing and administration of drugs.
Pharmacy is a professional course and upon graduation, the graduate pharmacist is licensed to become a custodian of drugs.

Biochemistry as a degree course is aimed primarily at producing researchers and teachers in the field.

In the labour market, Pharmacists have far better job opportunities because they are better trained and their licenses are highly sought after by any organization where drug-related activities take place.

Biochemistry graduates in Nigeria have little job opportunities because Nigeria has a poor research culture. Besides, at first degree level, the biochem graduate is highly deficient in knowledge of biochemistry, hence he/she is expected to proceed to do masters and PhD before he can be called a biochemist.
However, due to shortage of appropriate manpower, some industries may employ the biochemistry graduate to play certain roles e.g, in quality control labs of some pharmaceutical and food processing industries, some biochem graduates work alongside chemistry/industrial chemistry, microbiology and other science graduates to carry out quality analysis on products following SOPs. However, the pay is usually not much, hence many of them live unhappy lives(from my observation).

I'm a biochemistry graduate who is now studying pharmacy as a second degree, so I'm in a position to advise you on this topic.
