It is not a must for every christian to be rich, but at least they should know what belongs to them. If they choose to remain in poverty fine.  But they should have awareness of their rights. But Gods word is clear, he is not against our prosperity, but he is against the in ability to give, a covetous man is the man that doesn't give. We are givers , we live by giving. As we give we increase , we give yet more and increase more and more. That is what it means to be rich towards God. A man that has and refuse to give and share is covetous because his riches is only for himself. He is not rich towards God

Luke 12:21
21 So[ is] he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.


The poverty gospel is not humility . It's a lie of Satan to cripple the body of christ from impacting the world.

 There is a difference between having money, and having the love of money. Prosperity is beyond money, but money is a vital part of it. Money is used to serve God and touch lives. We ought to make money and give it to serve God. He only want us not to be carried away by wealth.

The highlighted parts above should be noted. God is not against our wellbeing, he is against us being distracted by them .

6 And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved. 


It is false to teach poverty to Gods people. This false humility has made many Christian unproductive in life. I know how many people that are on my scholarship, how many bibles I have given out how many I have empowered to start business. Others have probably done more that . If you don't have it you can't give it. God wants us to be rich.

2- Righteousness was credited to Abraham account. but righteousness not credited to our account. We became righteousness itself in Christ.

3- being born again is a product of the new testament. No man was able to enter into the new testament until Christ rose. New testament was not revealed in Matthew, mark.Luke and john. The new testament started with acts of the apostles and epistles.
No man was able to be born again until Jesus rose. Abraham and other prophets got born again when Christ rose.

As much as I agree with you that a man is not a christens until He's born again, but your definition of born again has an issue. A man us not born again by water baptism which is a ceremonial cleansing. When Jesus said a man must be born by water and the spirit, he refers to the word of God as water and not water baptism .

I understand some of you sin in ignorance because you didn't know those things were sins, God grace cover for a sin in  ignorance, but a wilful sin is different. There is different between felling into a sin and living in sin. If a christens sins, the holyspirit will convict his heart and he repents. Except if his heart is harden. That's a danger zone, when a man conscience no longer feel bad for erring fling. That's why regular fellowship with the word and fellow Christian is important. The conscience of such person will be purified. And it will prevent the conscience from being hardened

Well I don't know who the woofers are. I take the word of God for what it says. There is no sin a christens can commit that God can't  forgive. The blood of Jesus cleans all Sins .  Except a man goes into  apostasy .

How come after all the noise making , The almighty EFCC has not been able to prove any case against the man of God. Serving governors and former governors were araigned even bank directors. How come they've not been able to establish any case against pastor chris. The only thing we hear is that efcc is using soft selling newspars to make noise. And gullible Christians are happy to buy them because they love bad news.

Pastor chris is a fine gentle man and he knows how to put the devil where he belongs. The greatest thing you can do to satan is to ignore him as though he doesn't exist. And that's exactly what pastor chris is doing . That's why the press is mad at him, he doesn't grant interview, he is a focused man that refuse to be distracted. He just moves on. If press make you, Press can destroy you. Since the Press can't feast on him, they rather make money from attacks . But the power that sustain the man is the holyghost. You can't defeat a man who is functioning in his calling.

Of cousre Jesus did come to die for our salvation.That still does not mean we are automatically saved by simply getting born again once and after that relapse into sin still hoping to be saved afterall.

Why would you want to sin anyway?. If a Christian falls into a sin, he should simply repent  of it. And come out of it. The blood of Jesus wipes him clean. But he can keep away from such error by constant meditation on the word of God. He receives ability to live above sin.

We need to differentiate between the legal aspect of our salvation and the vital aspect. Legally we are everything Chist is,  because of his life in us. We however live in a body that is not yet perfect. But it's still undergoing change. The spirt of msn is 100%  in his likenes, bur the soul and the body does not become perfect overnight. The is undergoing it's metsmophorsis by the word of God and the ministry of the holy ghost. Attack may come sgains the body , but you rule over it and send it packing. God wants us to attain perfection  on earth .

You can see the highligted part above. It is possible to partake of the power of the life to come now. Remember jesus's discussion with Mary. 

John 11:25-26
25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? 

He was talking about dominion over death even now. As long as we keep feeding only on milk,the church of christ will never attain it's potential. We may delay the rapture for another century. Paul was expecting the rapture in his time also. As long as the church refuse to grow up, the rapture won't take place. The is the message of pastor chris. And that wad the passion of Paul and of christ. Jesus wasn't playing on words when he described what the believer should be.

Mark 16:17-18
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. 

This is dominion in christ. Jesus asked mary " belivest thou this? The question is for all of us . Can we dare take the words of Jesus for what it says and act on it.

Your claim is not true sirjohn. The benefit in christ is now. Thats what perfection is all about. I agree with you there is a futuristic part for everybody generally. But we in christ partake of it's firstruit . We have to grow into fulness of all that christ is. That is what will cause the rapture to take place. Because he's coming for a perfectly mature church that has gained dominion over sickness , sin, poverty and death.

John 14:16-17

I once asked someone, “Have you received the Holy Spirit?” “Well, I did at one time” he replied. “What do you mean you did at one time?” I asked him. Some even prove their point by citing the examples of people in the Scriptures who received the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues immediately. But there’re also those who received the Holy Spirit in the Bible, and we’re not told that they spoke in other tongues immediately the Holy Spirit came upon them. For instance, the Bible doesn’t tell us that Paul spoke in other tongues as soon as Ananias laid hands on him to receive the Holy Spirit. All that is recorded is that the Holy Ghost came upon him (Acts 9:17-18).

The only way we got to know Paul spoke in tongues was when he wrote to the Church at Corinth and said,
“I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all” (1 Corinthians 14:18).
Paul didn’t say, “I spoke in tongues the moment Ananias laid hands on me.” It didn’t have to have happened the same day.

The bottom line is that you don’t need any other evidence aside from the Word of God that have you received the Holy Spirit.
In Luke 11:13, Jesus said, “If ye then being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Ghost to them that ask him?”
This is my evidence – the Word of God. I asked the Father, and I received the Holy Spirit by faith. So, the reason I know that I have the Holy Spirit is because of what the Word says, not just because I speak in tongues.

Dear Father, your Word id the only evidence I need to be convinced of my inheritance and privileged place in Christ. Thank you for the power of your Word to illuminate my path, guide my thinking, and direct my actions aright today, in Jesus’ Name.

The Amplified version renders our opening verse thus: “not that we are fit, qualified, sufficient in ability as of ourselves, to form us in judgment or claim or count anything as coming from us, our power, and ability and sufficiency, are from God.” Therefore, we’re to know and recognize God as our qualification, competence and strength, and not have confidence in our physical abilities, knowing that He has endued us with power from on high.

This understanding informed David’s mentality when as a stripling he confronted and defeated the great Goliath of Gath. Conscious of God’s ability at work in him, he looked at Goliath and said, “You come against me with a sword, shield and spear, but I come against you in the Name of the Lord of host; the God of the armies of Israel” (1 Samuel 17:45). How important that we live and walk every day, in the consciousness that we are fully kitted with God’s glory and power because we function in His Name!

We’re not sufficient of ourselves; our sufficiency is a God-sufficiency! The power and ability by which we function are of God; that makes it unlimited! That means there’s no limit to how much you can achieve and how far you can go on your journey of success, because the power at work in you to make it happen is of God.

This is the reason why as a Christian, you ought not be defeated in life, because you’re sufficient in God’s sufficiency. The power and authority with which you function are His very own. When you speak, He’s the one speaking; when you minister, He’s the one ministering through you. You function in His stead; He gave you the power of attorney to function in His Name!

Confession
The ability of God is at work in me today, and I’m conscious of it! I don’t function in my own ability or strength, for God’s inherent ability is in me. The Lord renews my strength daily, and I’m divinely energized at all times for victory, in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

Everything in the world belongs to God. He has in His custody as inexhaustible and inestimable wealth! It’s however inspiring to understand what the Holy Spirit communicates to us through the Apostle Paul. In our opening scripture, Paul wasn’t making a promise to the Church on God’s behalf. Rather, he had come to know God’s ways of doing things – that He supplies not just some but ALL our needs!

The scripture tells us that all things belong to God. Psalms 24:1 says “The earth is the LORD’S and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.” Also in Psalms 50:10-11, God tells us: “For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.” Furthermore, He says “The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts” (Haggai 2:. So what in the world could be too big for Him to give you? In Jeremiah 32:27, He said “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?”

No wonder David said, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want” (Psalm 23:1). The Apostle Paul, coming to the same realization declared:
“Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours” (1 Corinthians 3:21).
Ever before you arrived on the scene, God already made everything you would ever need available to you; He provided them for you richly to enjoy (1 Timothy 6:17)!

All your needs have automatically been entered into his supply system! So He’s saying to you today, “Hello child, all things are ready! And I’ve made them available to you; they’re all yours!”

Realize today, and begin to fellowship with the truth that God has made available to you wealth too valuable and excellent to be measured! He has made you a partaker of His inestimable and incorruptible inheritance: “Giving thanks into the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light” (Colossians 1:12)

Prayer
Dear heavenly Father, thank you for the provisions you’ve made available to me in Christ Jesus. Today, I declare that I’m abundantly supplied and all my needs are met according to your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Everything I require for life and godliness have been made available to me and I’m conscious of this reality today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

We don't tithe because the law say so. But because tithes are based in principles of faith in God. The principles of God are universal. But come to think of it, o, Is it not ironical, for those who believe that the law is obsolete to be judging Christian givings by the law?

 No man should be your standard. The word of God stands sure. The stand you're taking is sadly a stand that destroys faith of people in the Word of God. Making the death of christ worthless. Even James choice of remedy was not medicine.

Sickness has ever been an enemy of God. Part of the blessing of Abraham is freedom from sickness. It is a major part of the abrahamic covenant. Jesus healed the bent over woman on the basis of abrahamic covenant. 

Luke 13:16
16 And ought not this woman, a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day? 

It's only when Israel sin that they get afflicted. With sickness. And in their affliction when they turn to God he healed them. King Asa died because he trusted in medicine rather than God

2 Chronicles 16:12-13
12 And Asa in the thirty and ninth year of his reign was diseased in his feet, until his disease[ was] exceeding[ great]: yet in his disease he sought not to the Lord, but to the physicians. 13 And Asa slept with his fathers, and died in the one and fortieth year of his reign.

Gods primary way if healing his children has never been medicine

25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, 26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, 

Till today many people still die by doctors guess work! Medicine can't cure a demonic case. Healing through medicine is in the permissive will of God and not the perfect will.

There are different tithes just as there are different sabbaths. There main yearly tithe is taken to the priest in the temple. But there's a special tithes that is eaten and shared with the poor. This special one is done every three years . I have mention this several times on this forum.

you are wrong here. There is no false hood. The healing school is a place you are taught the word of God , to acquaint the students with what they have in christ. The first step is to lead them into salvation, get them filled with the holy spirit and also ton teach them the word concerning their rights and privileges in christ. They are taught faith.

Many get healed before the end of the classed ,others get healed when pastor chris lays hands on them. They come with their medical reports. And after ministration, they are sent back to the same hospital they went before to confirm their healing. if they receive healing, they share the testimony on air. If they haven't received . The either go through the process again. Or continue their drugs, So if this person stopped her drugs on claims of healing. Was she medically tested in the hospital?. Or did she get healed and later got attacked by the sickness again? . We have to get detail before throwing stones.

I don't fall sick, since I have embraced the truth. But I should not condemn a Christian who swallows pills. The message pastor chris is teaching is the deep truth. Many Christians have not fully experienced the benefit of the life in christ. Even if I fall sick ,it still doesn't change the truth, I will still tell any one who cares it's the truth. The generation that will believe it fully is the generation that will see the rapture.

We need to wake up to truth. We have been endowed with power, we can't live in the oppression of sickness again. The only person that had legal right to be sick was Jesus.

Healing and health is heritage for the Christian. If he believes it ,it will work for him. We are striving to function in all that christ died for,to become all he wants us to be. Some don't care about development spiritually. Jesus died for our perfection. We should desire to be all he made us in him. It is not overnight, but it begins by accepting the truth. We don't have to judge the Word by the failings of others. But judge by truth.   

Philippians 3:12-13
12 I don't mean to say I am perfect. I haven't learned all I should even yet, but I keep working toward that day when I will finally be all that Christ saved me for and wants me to be.
13 No, dear brothers, I am still not all I should be, but I am bringing all my energies to bear on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead,


Pastor chris is one man who has taken the Word of God for what it says, I love the  audacity of his faith. He dared to believe. That's the man to listen to. The body of christ have been fed with milk for too long. It's time to grow up.
