Bros i have listen to enough of Oyakhilome's teachings to know what he preaches, his teachings are always polluting our airwaves and hardly can you watch any of our local channels without coming across some of his offensive teachings. Even you yourself is a testimony to oyakhilome's heretics going by some of the blasphemy you have posted on this forum. It is a known fact that CEC members are under psycological pressure to sow seeds into the "ministry" at all cost as a way of receiving god's blessings. This is what drives a lot of it's memebers into criminality. And pleeeeeeaaaaassssseee stop refering to Oyakhilome as "pastor christ" that is a sacriledge and oyakhilome does not even preach or practise the gospel of Christ talkless of being recognized by christ.

The fact that You dont understand the teaching doesnt mean they are wrong. Can you pin point any of your so called heresy teaching that you listen to , I,m not talking about your hearsay and exaggerated assumption. quote the message out , and analyse it by the word. Then you can score a good point.

The annoying thing is that most of the criminals are apologizing to pastor chris instead of blaming him. Are they not aware that it is the twisted get rich quick gospel that the con man has been preaching to them that pushes most of his church members to engage in illicit and criminal activities. [ i am even made to understand that most of the prostitues in Ikeja are attend CEC]. What is the church's business in setting up a micro finance bank in the first instance maybe Oyaks was planning to steal the money himself before his greedy apostles helped themselves to it probably based on the teachings he imparted to them. Personally i think oyakhilome should be held accountable for this fraud as he is in the business of breeding criminals.

You need to start listening to him, you will know that he Will not encourage criminalities. One of the things he emphasised early this year is that the year will not favour a man with criminal tendencies. He said doors of prosperity will shut against people with such character. He said some people didnt know that some doors have been shut against them already by criminality. He even went as far as saying that if you have supplies to do in a contract, minimise the gain , dont inflate the amount beyond proportion. You should get to hear his teachings yourself than all these hearsays of yours. Pastor Christ is a balance teacher. And can never condone criminality. If he teach on prosperity , its only because its scriptural.Paul and Jesus taught on prosperity too. So will you blame Jesus for the criminality of judas? .

You should believe what your pastor is teaching you. It is a sign of your submission. If you listen to him with suspicion, you will miss out and wont be blessed through him. However ,Every truth of God's word should be backed by at least 2 or three scriptures. You should still study more yourself.

You can see that they recieved the word with readiness of mind. be careful of all these self acclaimed counsellors on NL . many of them dont go to church , they make posts all day long on sundays. A man that is not under pastoral leadership will make you lose your pastoral leadership. Your pastor is a gift to you. trust him , obey him and submit to him. you shall be blessed. That thing which you have believed is the truth . dont let any man steal it from you. Your pastor watches for your soul and gives account before God.

However , if for any reason your pastor says something that seem contrary to your convictions; simple thing, go to him ,but dont tell him he is wrong, rather humbly ask him for clarification or tell him you are not so clear about such and such, and you will appreciate it if he could throw more light on it, or show you from scriptures. If you already saw something that seems contrary to what he taughtin the bible, Humbly show him , " sir , this is what you taught but I saw this scripture saying otherwise, can you explain, just incase someone ask me" That should be polite enough. And remeber to appreciate him first , This approach it important because if you go blasting your pastor as though you are judging him, he may not respond. He may mis understand your motive. Some people ask questions , not because they want to learn ,but to show off knowledge or embaraas their pastor.

The scripture you quoted does not make reference to trouser or design. In isreal those days , they wore thesame thing, there was no difference. male and female both wore gowns . Jesus didnt wear trouser. They all wore gowns. The bible was against a man wearing a particular gown a woman has worn already.  it was not about design.  We are the one labelling it trousers. And besides we are no longer under the law

Your post reminds me of my experience at CEC. You're so, so lucky you never attended.

I remember praying and giving God up till the end of 2007 to help me find somewhere else where his unadulterated word was what was held onto and lived by. I shudder now to think that I actually prayed and gave God a deadline. . . but I'm thankful he answered anyway, despite my foolishness to have tried to force him to do something, even though it was a good request.

Ah! I remember how it felt like being alone out there, all by myself. I was tempted to give up on Christianity (by going along with the flow like everybody else), because I felt there was no way I could survive by myself without fellowshipping with others. But I also knew that what obtained everywhere was falsehood, as long as the bible held true.

I also attended plenty of services at winners (my best friend was a member and used to drag me there sometimes). To me, it was essentially the same - a marked departure from the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as presented in the scriptures. Only the winners version looked more like child's play, compared to Oyaks'. The guy was (and still is) far more smooth. Looks more like the real thing, but even farther from the truth.

If the Church had prayed for James , it would have been stated.

And on the other hand, are you saying that the cup promised to James (to serve as a martyr according to God's will) could have been reversed if the church had prayed harder on his behalf? Is God's will malleable to the prayers of someone with revelation knowledge.

There is difference between premature death , when a man has not fulfilled his ministry. Jesus died early age, but he didnt die prematurely,. He fulfilled his calling. He glorified God by his death burial and resurrection.
The early Apostles like Paul also were ordained to glorify God by their death but they must fulfilled the assignment first. Paul was beheaded. But he and others laid down their lives .Death didnt take them.


2 Tim. 4:6-7 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. [7] I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

just like death didnt take Jesus.

John 10:17

I think it was two or three years ago when your pastor said something just as damning on TV. He read from the book of Acts 12:1-2

And then suddenly stopped there and asked his hearers rhetorically; "how could an apostle just die like that"? And then he answered the question himself and said, it was because "he (James) didn't really understand how the Kingdom of God functioned".

After reading about how God miraculously saved Peter from Herod's hands, he then said that after James' execution, the church (now I don't remember exactly how he said this one but he meant that the church) somehow "woke up" and prayed for Peter, which then resulted in Peter's rescue.

I don't want to go into all the details but just want to bring out some points to show the similarity between JoeAgbaje's warped ideas and Oyaks'.

1. Well, you kuku didn't mention Peter in your short list of "special apostles" sha. And its obvious the man had no idea of this heretic teaching of yours about the new superhuman life - he was sound asleep the night before his public execution! He didn't even know that what was happening to him was real till the angel had left him.  

2. Pastor Chris said that James died like that even though he was an apostle because he didn't know how the kingdom functioned (but Pastor Chris does  ). It may interest you to know that all the apostles except John ended up dying like that. Including Paul, who was beheaded, according to early church tradition.

So, if these guys all died like that (like James). I guess, they all didn't really know how the kingdom functioned.  

You guys take pride in miquoting Pastor Chris and twisting his teaching to buttress your CONFUSION point. Pastor Chris didnt blame James for his death. But rather blaming the Church. He was teaching about intercession, The message "PRIESTLY MINISTRY OF BELIVERS"  His Point was that the Church did nothing when James was arrested , and he ended up dead, But when Peter was  arrested , they woke up to intercession , and Peter was delivered. He never blamed james for his death.listen to the tape again.

Let me break down something important for you based on your statement quoted below:

What you are saying in essence, among other things, is this:

1. Christ Himself made a mistake in selecting Peter and the other apostles (except your 2) to be the foundations of His church --- since they were not good enough.
2. You and Oyakhilome know better than all of those ten apostles ---- maybe by your "revelation knowledge"; and of course, your "revelation knowledge" is superior to the first hand learning that those 10 apostles obtained in all the years they spent with Christ
3. Additionally, the Holy Spirit that Christ breathed into them and sent to them at Pentecost did not really do anything for them; even that is trumped by the "revelation knowledge" of you and opaks Oyaks!
4. Since Peter and the other 9 apostles (except your 2) did not have "indept" (sic) knowledge of the teachings of Christ, we really should ignore the gospels and all the books of the Bible associated with any of those 10! We should discard the gospels of Matthew, Mark, the Epistles of Peter, James, Jude etc.
5. In fact we should not follow the Bible; our manual should be "Rhapsody of Realities" since its author Oyakhilome has "revelation knowledge" that is superior to the learning of the apostle Peter and all the other apostles except your 2.

But you should know that only 2 apostles had the indept understanding of the teachings of Christ about the new life. Paul and John. Paul had had encounter with Peter and James on doctrinal issues .

There is what is called revelation knowledge. If you want to grow as a Christian , start with Paul's Epistle first. And john's gospel . Then we can start to talk. The apostles were not on the same level of revelation.

Its very painful seeing and witnessing all the heresies going on in most churches.Ive been trying 2 write on this bt nevr knew the right topic for it.Example,in my stree we have 4 churches surrounding our building,but amongst all these churches 2 of them make me sick and i wonder how God feels abt it.Ok an assemblies of God church close 2 my house is having a 21 days(of noice,and extortion)crusade.6 days ago one of the ministers,while preaching asked the brainwashed mbers,to sow a seed of 2010naira as a signifance of Gods provision for the year 2010,the next day another came and askd members chalange God starting with #6000-#1000,and see his response,these and many others are troubling me,the noise of their tongue speaking,and radicalizing fo jesus make me sick.I am a xtain bt i wish people can worship God like the new testament church.Pls i want us 2 talk abt these do u notice any of these around u?Coments pls.Ill speak on the 2nd church later

We may not approve of what they are doing, but it is none of your business. Leave them for God. It is normal for people to sing and make noise so long as they dont disturb others . If a man of God says he was directed by God to do that kind of thing, leave him for God. If God didnt send him, He will account before God. but I will not put myself in the way of wrath by callling a man of God names and calling his members brainwashed.

If you have brought people in sound teachings, to know who they are in Christ and understanding their authority against the devil , will you allow a book that will teach them that sickness in the willl of God to keep us humble. Different ministers functions at different levels of understanding of truth. Some ministers are still feeding on milk like Peter and james, While some are cracking bones like Paul.
