MostHigh: Jhn 4:22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.I don't really get your point well. If you're saying we Gentiles have no part in salvation ,then you're wrong. The bible says ,to the Jews first and also to the Gentiles. Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ:for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Jesus had us in mind John 10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold:them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female:for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. |
@ okeyyz I couldn't respond to you earlier . The site couldn't respond, so I've been waiting. okeyxyz: Again, another mistake. This boils down to insight. okeyxyz: Again, another mistake. This boils down to insight.Bo sir . Rather the tree of knowledge of good and evil has to do with discernment or maturity. I will explain later if there's time This is the spirit\principle of the law & ordinances. The law has been in effect from Adam & Eve, it was only "formalized" and written in letters through moses but has always been in operation in man's spirit and conscience, thus man's nature. Are you saying God made error? Also note that there was no sin before the "forbidden Tree(The Law)" as is written: "And the man and his wife were both na.ked and were not ashamed(Genesis 2:25)".

It's not a forbidden tree actually. I believe the tree was meant for man . But man ate it at a premature time. The tree was not a bad tree it was a good tree. But man ate it in disobedience .you focus mostly in this FORBIDEN tree . Remember the tree of life was in the garden too. These two trees are very significant . |
loabb2: Are you saying that pastors use juju?Trash! What does he know about the spirit of God or church ministry ? He's just seeking attention since life has passed him. |
buzugee: Based on the 3 scriptures above, it is hard to tell when judgment will be executed against the recipient of a disaster. all you can do as a prophet is prophesy against the recipient. it is not your duty to say when the disaster will happen because such knowledge is not privy to you. When you start getting specific about dates and times and places and people in your prophesy, then you may just be JEREMIAH 2 VS 8 the prophets prophesied by BaalDaniel gave specific dates and time. He gave exact date for christ to be born. He gave exact date for the death of christ. Daniel 9:25-26 Now listen! It will be 49 years plus 434 years from the time the command is given to rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One comes! Jerusalem's streets and walls will be rebuilt despite the perilous times. "After this period of 434 years, the Anointed One will be killed, his kingdom still unrealized... and a king will arise whose armies will destroy the city and the Temple. They will be overwhelmed as with a flood, and war and its miseries are decreed from that time to the very end. |
seeking@truth:Adam didn't have any factory problem. There was nothing wrong in him. Satan deceived him into sin. Why didn't God correct the fault he found in AdamHis nature became corrupt because of sin. instead he got angry and threw him out the garden.God didn't throw them out of anger. Rather he sent them out of the garden in love. There were two significant trees in the garden. TREE OF KNOWLEDGE ,and TREE OF LIFE.. The tree of knowledge will make man wise and the tree of life will give man permanence and immortality. Man fell into sin . And his nature got corrupt. If he had gone ahead and eat the tree of life he will remain in that corruption state for ever. That means there will be no redemption for man again. The reason God sent them out was to prevent them from eating of the tree of life . So that the way f salvation can still be open. Genesis 3:24 Thus God expelled him, and placed mighty angels at the east of the Garden of Eden, with a flaming sword to guard the entrance to the Tree of Life. |
okeyxyz: If we are dead to sin, then we should therefore remove ourselves from the definitions and precepts of the law. Christians make a mistake of looking at sin and the law as two separate entities. They are not. The law is the sin, and the sinner is the person who makes himself subject to the law(the ten commandments and it's derived ordinances) and it's definitions. Everything that is written in the scriptures up till the death and resurrection of Jesus has been interpreted based on the law, and christians continue to do so today. We know that the law is modeled after the truth of god, but it can only do so as shadows and parables rather than plainly. This was why Jesus spoke in parables instead of in plain truth because his time on earth was still the era of the law and he had to abide by that law. Now that his death has "legally" abolished that law, we should no longer follow it's definitions. Everything!!! the law says is shadowy, we should not see them as literal, plain meaning. So where the law says:"you shall not commit adultery", while it sounds "good", but our question should be: "So what is truly adultery?" not as the law defines it, but as it is defined spiritually. Where the law says "You shall have no other god before me...", Again, it sounds good, but we must also ask: "So what is this true God?", Again, not as the law defines it but as it is truly, etc etcSin was not defined by the law. Sin pre existed the law Genesis 4:7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. It's not the law that makes murder wrong. It's based on Gods righteous justice. Genesis 9:6 Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed:for in the image of God made he man. |
Romans 6:1 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord [ The word "reckon" as used above originates from the Greek word "logizomai" which is actually an accounting term. It means to take inventory or stock of something such that there’re no assumptions. In Accounting, you deal with specific figures and data, not assumptions. When the Word urges you to "reckon yourself to be dead to sin, but alive unto God," it means you should "account yourself" to be ungoverned or undominated by sin. You must take whatever God says about you as absolute truth. His Word says you’re dead to sin, therefore refuse to let sin dominate you: "For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace" (Romans 6:14). Romans 8:37 says you’re more than a conqueror, therefore reckon yourself as such and begin to live as a victor, and not a victim. This is how to relate with the Word; you reckon (account) it to be absolute reality. However, for you to account yourself to be what the Word says, you must first know it. You must study the Word and keep getting it into your spirit; take it as the truth to live by, for it is. Reckon yourself to be exactly what the Word says. |
Thank you so much God2man |
Goshen360: Joe my brother. I'm sorry if I offend you and 'some' of these preachers. I do not intend to argue if we can't talk scriptures. You and I have argued these demon casting of a thing in the pasThe holygjost is the one leading us into all truth .Everything is not written in scriptures. But the principles are there Are you still telling me/us that Christians are possessed by demons? or those who haven't come to believe in Christ?I may nt use the word POSSESS. but many christian have demons in them. I cast demons out of Christians mostly. Because even if I meet and umbeliever who is sick or has a demon. I have to lead him to salvation first. Why do you tie many unfulfilled destinies to demons and those things you mentionedWe are responsible for our lives. God I not responsible. He only show us his word . It' is left to individuals what we do with our lives. Destinies don't get fulfilled by itself. Thetre are many Unfilfilled destiny and purpose. by wrong choices and affliction of the enemy. Satan do resist destinies.hes an accuser . Zechariah 3:1 And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him. Moses didn't fulfill his destiny. And many others . Some individual sub don't even get to know what their destiny is. Some people destiny have been destroy by parents. They forced him to study engineering or medicine but he was meant to be an actor or economist. Destiny gone! I've met some people who hated their parents for the wrong decision that put them in the life mess."I used to be good at so and so ,but my patents took my life from me" you don't know what a pastor sees. Demons can destroy destinies . I just ministered to a wonderful christian lady yesterday . They have spent so much many. On operation. Over 4million naira in one week . They cut off her gal bladder.saying she had entered menopause. I told her the problem is demonic. By the time I started ,the demon began to speak . Claiming he had destroys many of her organs in the body . And she must die ,she cannot marry. (She's about forty years ) . The spirit was cast out. She could walk well now.if she had not been ministered to,she would have died and destiny unfulfilled . You don't know what a pastor sees. Now based on all these ,if a pastor comes with a program to help people navigate the self back to Gods destiny which they have misses. It's based on his understanding of people problem. Not every body fulfil destiny. Moses did not fulfil his destiny. Do you even understand that EVERY Christian in anointed in their own proportions and according to how the Spirit wills? There different kinds of anointings. There is anointing for living , there's anointing for ministry etc. what is anointing? It's ability ,grace, grace can be imparted. You could have said we all have grace. We have to differentiate between the general and the specific . You said I should be concerned about what he sees that I don't see. Okay, this I agree with you! However, whatever he sees cannot be outside God's word else anybody can come to Christians claiming they see something. What I'm simply saying is, there's nothing like ANOINTING for DESTINY.What I mean by seeing is, the experience and torment people go through. Programs are born out of heaven burden. Burden for the lost ,burden for the sick ,the unmarried, etc. Besides, you asked me what I understand about Anointing. I think you shouldn't ask that but rather what scripture says it is - It is the enabling Power of God by or through the Holy Spirit to function in the Spiritual gifts. It's the work of the Holy Spirit ,yet it can be imparted by man . Romans 1:11 For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established; Now, my question, if Christians need anointing for destiny or whatever, what then is the anointing that Christian had already received meant for when they came to Christ? And by what anointing are those who are not Christians doing what God had created them to do?I will give some examples . It's just like FAITH . We all have faith . By faith we got saved. Romans 12:3 . . . God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. But that doesn't mean we have the faith to deal with every problem of life . You need to have more faith. Someone may say "I already have faith". He needs revelation for the kind of faith to deal with that particular situation. secondly christ within. How would paul be praying for Christians to have christ Ephesians 3:17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith;. ., Thirdly WISDOM. James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But the il had already said we have wisdom and that christ is wisdom in us. Why should we pray for wisdom. 1 Corinthians 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom. Or how do you reconcile the love of God shed abroad. With us been rooted in love. Romans 5:5 . . love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Ephesians 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. You may give excuse for Paul that he must know what's talking about. The same way you should give excuse to this man too an be careful enough to know his perspective. Lest we enter into the error of judging |
Metallurgist: Laughing (ibro style) soon 9ja pastors go start flying without aeroplaneIt happened in the bible .philio travelled without a vehicle in split second Acts 8:39-40 And when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord [ suddenly] caught away Philip; and the eunuch saw him no more. . But Philip was found at Azotus, and passing on he preached the good news (Gospel) to all the towns until he reached Caesarea. Acts 9 |
Goshen360: Anointing for destiny? Where do you find such in scripture?. That a Christian need anointing to fulfill destiny or what does it mean? The question first is what do you understand by anointing? Did you ask them what the programme is about. Don't judge a book by the cover If anointing is needed for destiny to come to past I think you should start questioning the Bible itself because scriptures says, God gives to ALL MEN without finding faults. Then those who are not Christians and have fulfilled their destiny will be asked what anointing they got for destiny.I don't have detail I formation about this programme you're talking about. It's not wise to speak audaciously of what you have little or no information about. But I can help you with this. If you have ever cast out devils from people ,you will know that destiny doesn't get fulfilled automatically .there are deeds that can hinder destiny. There are devils that can hinder destiny. There are decisions that cn hinder destiny. Wrong choice of marriage partner can block fulfilment of destiny. So if a man of God comes up with a programme to help people fulfill destiny. You should rather be concerned about what he sees that you don't see, and what he knows that you may not know. |
Goshen360: Dear Bishop Francis Wale OkeWhat is wrong with anointing for destiny. Do you even understand what his programme is about? . How much information do you have to criticize another ? Jude 1:10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not:but what they know naturally. . . Jet is only a vehicle made for people. Whoever NEEDS it should get it. So long as its a necessity. People once criticized cars , especially NEW cars. After they had approved old jalopy cars as okay for mission works. I tell you if there's need to get a space ship to mars a church should get it! |
Its just a Demonstration of passion |
wordthots: .It's amazing the way many Christians exercise faith for mundane things. I wonder why their faith is not exercised like that for SOULWINNING . Why can't a man who is shy to preach in a bus begin to make confessions of faith and declare. " I have boldness to preach " but rather its on phones and plasma 3d television! ![]() |
There is no legal basis for SR’s actions at MFM; some of the contents of the video in my humble opinion are outright slander. How was the coverage of that eventThese pararazies go to churches . And record giving impression they want to help the work of God especially when they are caught . But when they do it successfully the video turns out to be a ridicule of Gods house. Many pastors have recieved some of them with open arms only to receive a back stabbing while watching the documentary with their families. |
gst101: jesus said if you look at a woman lustfully and desire to have her, you are guilty of sin. You can never masturbat.e without having the thought of someone else in your head.you don't have to have imagination to mastubate. Besides That portion of the bible is talking about lusting after another man's wife. . Remember he was dealing with adultery. The issue there is about coveting another mans property. |
gst101: since this mastur.bation thing became an issue among nigerian christians early last year, i got a new insight into the mind of nigerian christians. Nigerian christians believe only that which their mentor preaches and nothing more. It doesnt matter if what the man says is right or wrong. As far as it is coming from him, it must be the truth and we must have been mistaken all these years.Dont get sentimental. This thread was opened 2 years ago. Oyskholomes comment was only last year. I've said the same thing ever since. Mastubation is a bad habit like any other bad habits. I can even be demonic in some cases . I have cast devils out of one people to free them from mastubation. But it's dangerous to call something a sin ,if God hadn't said so. We can't make our own law. Not labeling it a sin against God doesn't mean you encourage it. |
gst101: like i said, you dont have to masturbate to get your seme.n. You can withdraw from your wife and collect it.The question is, if a man mastubates to donate sperrm or a man mastubates for semenn test. Had he sinned? |
lagerwhenindoubt: Seriously.. I mean Seriously.I do cast out demons regularly if that's what you mean. I ask because what you have claimed to perform is a branch of Mysticism I have had challenges connecting with.Casting out demons is spiritual ministration not mysticism [ |
frosbel: Semen test ?Fluid test is sperrm Test . Mastubation is done to collect sample of a man"s sperrm . That how they get to know if a man has low sperrm count etc. |
Demonic affliction is real. The power of God to deliver is more real |
wordthots: @jo, I totally agree with you that Jesus didn't suffer in hell, but rather was victorious from the cross. Colossians 2:15 makes this clear that he spoilt principalities and powers (made a public show of them) triumphing over them ON tHE CROSS. wordthots: @jo, I totally agree with you that Jesus didn't suffer in hell, but rather was victorious from the cross. Colossians 2:15 makes this clear that he spoilt principalities and powers (made a public show of them) triumphing over them ON tHE CROSS.You're right I used to think so too until I checked it in other translations. But can you remember the particular material of Kenyon and Hagin ? |
Bidam: you yourselve said it na..u can't give wat you don't have..wat Jesus had he gave..infact He emptied Himself..that was why he acknowledges he acknowledges the widow who gave her all(luke 21:1-4)..the intent is the state of the HEART..the hebrew meaning might have been lost on our greek translators..u never can tell. Are you still maintaining that the riches is not material ? |
aribisala0:Multiple Personlity disorder it a demonic manifestation. How come all the european hospitals couldnt help them. How come they became free by the name of jeus . I don't really want to give personal experience but I have cast demons out of such people. The spirit responsible is called . Schizophrenia in demonology . |
Image123: No, on the contrary,Paul wrote of how he was about to die, and of how false people and wolves would come in when he left. He knew that no man knew the time of Christ's coming, save the Father. That was later, when God had shown him. Peter also said a similar thing. Paul would not be in a strait/dilemma if he was expecting the rapture to be in his days. They all knew Jesus could come at any time,That's still the same thing I'm saying. They expected Jesus in their days simple |
Bidam: I hold a contrary opinion to what paul said in 2cor8:9: "for you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was RICH, yet for your sakes he became poor so that so that you through his poverty might become RICH. I don't think that verse of scripture is talking about physical riches but rather we should be rich in generosity as exemplified by Christ. The question I may ask is : was Jesus poor in generosity? Because whatever richies he want us to have is based on what he lacked. If the riches is generosity , that means Jesus was lacking generosity , he became stingy that we through his stinginess can become generous. That may not fit in well . Besides The Greek word for riches refers to material wealth .while the Greek word for poverty means to lack in material things |
1 Corinthians 3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ John 11 tells the story of Lazarus, who fell sick and died. When Jesus heard, He said to His disciples, "…Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep." His disciples, not understanding what He meant, replied, "Lord, if he is asleep, he will get better." Jesus had to tell them plainly, "…Lazarus is dead!" They didn’t understand Jesus’ spiritual language because they were yet carnal; so He had to speak to them in a language they could understand, that’s why He said to them, "Lazarus is dead." The Apostle Paul had a similar experience with the Christians at Corinth; he wasn’t able to communicate with them in spiritual language, hence he chided them for being carnal: "And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ" (1 Corinthians 3:1). Have you ever found yourself in situations where you had difficulty expressing yourself to carnal people? For example, being a spiritual man, if you felt a headache, you couldn’t say "I have a headache." The carnal man, on the other hand, sees nothing wrong communicating at such a mundane level. Realize that as Christians we don’t walk by our feelings, we walk by faith. If you say, "I have headaches," it means you’ve taken possession of it; you claimed it, and you shouldn’t because it’s an outside force; so don’t accommodate it in your body. Yes, you might feel the pain, but use the Word against it and it will pass out of your body. Hebrews 13:5-6 says "…for he (God) hath said…that we may boldly say…." You’re only supposed to say what you have, that God gave to you. Don’t accept anything that’s from the devil. Make up your mind that throughout this year, you’ll stand your ground in faith and walk in divine health. Refuse sickness, poverty, death, or depravity. Talk spiritual. Speak according to God’s infallible Word, and not according to your senses. |
James 1:25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed As Christians, we’re called to live and act like God. "How is that possible?" You might want to ask! This has been made possible through the mirror principle of the Word. The Word of God is the mirror of God. The Bible says anyone who hears the Word and doesn’t act accordingly is like a man who sees himself in a mirror, turns around and forgets what he looks like (James 1:23-24). In other words, God expects you to hear His Word and do what it says. The problem, however, is that many don’t know how to do the Word of God. Now, the mirror principle of the Word is that you see yourself as what God sees you to be in His Word, and then act accordingly. It simply means acting the Word. For instance, in the Word, the mirror of God, He says, you’re a new creation in Christ Jesus. That is God’s image and reflection of you. See that image and endorse it. Act like it’s true; for it’s true. Again, He shows you in the Word that you’re the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus; see it so. That’s His image of you. Seeing yourself in the Word, the mirror of God, and acting accordingly is the way to live in the reality of your inheritance in Christ. That’s how to enjoy all that God has made available to you in Christ Jesus. So keep looking into the mirror of God; keep studying and listening to the Word of God. As you do, you’ll be transfigured to become more and more like the glory you see in the Word. This is the mirror principle of the Word. 2 Corinthians 3:18 And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 4 1 Corinthians 13:12 For now we are looking in a mirror that gives only a dim (blurred) reflection [of reality as in a riddle or enigma], but then [when perfection comes] we shall see in reality and face to face! Now I know in part (imperfectly), but then I shall know and understand fully and clearly, even in the same manner as I have been fully and clearly known and understood [ by God]. |
What ever you do with your body by the reason of decoration or whatsoever does not constitute sin. It's a matter of personal choice. But the more mature you are as a christian the more you see the vanity of things which does not have eternal value. It's a matter of your personal conviction by the truth you know. Some. Things though harmless but they very unnespcessary 1Corinthians 6:12 All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient:all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. 1 Corinthians 13:11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child:but when I became a man, I put away childish things. In addition . The condemnation of tattoo in the Old Testament is not in making markings on the body but rather the idolatory they represent. Leviticus 19:28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you:I am the Lord. You can see here . It says they should not put mark on the body for "THE DEAD". (Ritualistic) not decorative |
wordthots: Isaiah 53:4-5 and 1pet. 2:24 really talking about physical healing?Isaiah 53:4-5 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows:yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions,he was bruised for our iniquities:the chastisement of our peace was upon him;and with his stripes we are healed. 1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness:by whose stripes ye were healed. The word "HEALED" primarily referes to cure. but It's total package. And Physical healing, salvation and general well being inclusive. Did Jesus have to suffer in hell or was the work finished at the cross? The bible didn't say he suffered in hell. He triumphed in hell. But if the question is to know if Jesus went to hell , he did. He triumphed on the cross by dying for our sins. But he had to go to hell,to finish up. Pronounce salvation, set captives free. Rose up. He had to defeat death. And obtain the power of hell and death. Revelation 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. What are the blessings of Abraham referred to in Gal. 3:13-14?Galatians 3:14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. It's a total package. Salvation ,deliverance, prosperity etc. what was God promise to Abraham? Genesis 12:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: Is 2Corinthians 8:9 talking about physical riches or something else? 2 Corinthians 8:9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. It's talking about physical richies primarily. Is Romans 8:19-24 talking about some future manifestations of saints on earth or the rapture?Romans 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. It's not applicable to the rapture but Its applicable to our dispensation and partially to the millennial reign of christ. The book of ephesians tells us that "all things are under his feet" but the truth is that Legally all things are under the feat of Jesus but vitally, all things are not yet underfoot. We are responsible to put things underfoot in our world. Hebrews 2:8 Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him. Jesus will not come until we put all enemies where they belong and restore all things .thats the mature church. Acts 3:21 For he must remain in heaven until the final recovery of all things . . . What does Romans 8:32 rily mean: "He that spared not his son....also give us all things"If God says "all things" he means all things. It's a total package. Mark 11:23, will a believer truly have whatever he says?If he can have the faith required he can, even to the moving of mountain but. Faith must be exercised according to the will of God. Not our flesh. Galatians 5:13 . . . .only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. 1 Corinthians 10:23 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient:all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not. I agree with you there are some extreme interpretations. Everyone shoud study the bible for himself. You must question your belief like the berean church. Salvation is personal |
If you're burning with sexual passion as single just GET MARRIED. 1 Corinthians 7:1 . . . .Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.. |
davidylan: the answer to the above question is very simple. Yes God forgives us of our sins completely. However some sins do have physical consequences. You have said it all |
