Theres no record in the bible that it's a sin. I find it unfit to labell something a sin that God didn't labell a sin. I know for sure it's a bad habit. Among other habits such as drinking smoking and doing drugs etc. I believe also that addiction to it is demonic just as addiction to alcohol and drugs are demonic. If I shouldn't label a smoker a sinner or a man who takes alcohol a sinner . I shouldn't label this one a sinner too. There are severel bad habit that people suffer from. I have ministered to people to be free from such . Such as eating sand ,eating soap, mastubation ,drugs alcoholism. But it is not the habit that constitute sin. It's between them and their body.

For those who label it as sin , I always like to ask . What if one does it on medical ground . Especially the fuid test. Have such people sinned? The answer I get is a clear "NO" so if it's not a sin when you do it for medical reason . Does God have double standard? Just like those who say that to take alcohol is sin. When you confront them of the passage where Paul told timothy to take little wine because of his stomach trouble (1tim 5:23 ) they reply "well ,it's for medicinal use" if paul made Timothy to take drink for medicinal use. And it doesn't constitute a Sin . Then a man that takes it for pleasure also has not sinned . God doesn't have double standard. I don't drink and I don't encourage mastubation. I don't see them as decent habit . But I won't bring condemnation of sin on someone if God didn't label it so thanks.

God is not against it. Those who use Gods name to preach against it do it by mis understanding of scriptures. Israelites wore jewelries bith make and female.

If God was against it he would have said. So. His negative response to it is only in illustrations .

Definition of dating defers. The churches that use such words definitely don't relate to the secular world definition. It has nothing to do with sex. Even the use of romantic doesn't necessarily relate to sex. There is christian Taking a stroll in the park or going on a drive is romance . All these should have been pure but the world use of such have abused it. No church will be promoting unholy relationship. The terms are pure in themselves . Theres christian romance. It doesn't have to make people sin.

The Holy Spirit puts the language in your spirit; so when you speak in tongues, they’re words of the Spirit! You speak forth words that the Holy Spirit has formed within your spirit; what a way to pray without limitations!

Your mind may not remember all the things you need to pray about; you may not even know what to say about them; but the Holy Spirit does, and therefore gives utterance to your spirit. Praying this way is a most effective way to effect changes and take charge of situations. Praying in the Spirit helps you deal with issues and puts things right in your life, in line with God’s perfect will!

If we have to go by your rule ,Paul would be quoting out of context. Jesus also would be quoting out of context .There several incidence like this in scriptures . In prophecies ,a verse may not be in the context of the chapter. Any prophecy scholar should know that simple rule. But the statement will have back up by body of truth.

The verses in Jeremiah 4 first starts by describing a desolation that is yet to come.

I'm dwelling on the part that related to creation. It's not the whole of the passage that relates to it.. There are laws guiding prophecies. A passage may be talking about several issues at the same time. There is a law of foreshortening and law of double reference . Remember the bible wasn't divided into chapters and verses. The prophecies were one looooooong verse. But theologians broke it down the chapters to the best of their ability looking at the contex . So a chapter may contain several different issues that don't relate to each other. Prophecy can be like a dream . You saw yourself in a car then, suddenly it was a plane . You enter your house and it turned to be your secondary school class. It may not connect.

There are several prophecies on the same chapter that don't connect.

For example God gave a prophecy concerning Ephraim here if you read it from verse 1. But look at verse 11. Its talking about the church of Christ . Speaking in tongues. They don't connect.

Isaiah 28:10-13
For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept;line upon line, line upon line;here a little, and there a little:11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.

Imagine if I quote verse 11 relating it to the church then someone comes along and say " it's not about church ,it's about Epraim and he paste an entire chapter for me to prove his point. That's why I said you should dwell on the part I quoted. There will never be a time in history of life that the earth will be empty, it only happened once and that was in the time of lucifer flood.

Concernng the law of double reference . David prophesied some things which had to do with his enemies here .

Psalms 109:2
For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me:

But look at verse 8 . It's talking about Judas who betray Jesus.

If you try to reason with the whole chapter ,you will mess it up. look at its fulfillment

These are some of the things considered in understanding prophecies. For the Jesremiah verse there will never be a fulfillment of it, because it took place in the time of lucifer reign . The earth will never be empty.

But it is more damaging that people say what the bible didn't say - talking about the gap theory and that the chaos and darkness in Genesis 1:2 was as a result of divine judgment when lucifer sinned and that is why we have God's creation only starting from Gen. 1:3. The gap theory is the missing link between science and the bible. God didn't create the world empty and chaotic . The world became void and chaotic.

mastubation is wrong, smoking is wrong, alchoholism is wrong. they are all works of the flesh. the only thing he said was that they are not listed as sin against God. but that doesnt take the fact away that such bad habits have famaging effects and sometimes may even be demonic.
