Which one is new England?
New England are cluster of six States in North East United States (Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont). They call them New England States because they were some of the first states settled by the British when they came to America. You will find remnants of British culture in these states.

It is likely they took the pictures in Western Massachusetts where they have Six Flags Amusement park.
CelebritiesRe: Genevieve Nnaji Vacations In Portugal (Photos) by john650(m): 8:55pm On Aug 15, 2017
Did she go on vacation all by herself? That smacks of selfishness.

For all that grafitti in one of the pictures, she didn't have to go to Portugal for that. She could have found that here in Lagos. The environment looks run down.
CrimeRe: How My Master Deflowered Me In His Wife’s Presence —pregnant 14-yr-old Gir (pic) by john650(m): 12:50pm On Jul 17, 2017
This problem is common among Igbos. The women are busy mistreating the maid while the Oga of the house turns her into a sex slave. Meanwhile, they safeguard their own children and give them good education. It is called slavery folks and the government needs to strengthen the laws so that the people commiting these crimes are punished severely.

Don't send your daughters to another family to become a maid. It almost never ends well.

Spot on my friend. You couldn't have said it better.

If he didn't have some loose change in his pocket, the birthday celebration if at all celebrated would be muted and it may be with a local girl, not with this shiny type.

WebmastersRe: Is Nigeria Adsense Paid In Dollar Or Naira? by john650(m): 8:42am On Jun 21, 2017
I have my own issues with adsense and I'm hoping I can get some advice here.

I had an AdSense account for a blog I ran when I lived in the US. When I moved to Nigeria, I closed the blog and started a new one. I also tried to close the AdSense account and open a new one in Nigeria. AdSense requires that you close your account and open a new one when you move from one country to another. However, it won't let me because I have a small payout amount that had not been disbursed. In addition, AdSense wants to confirm my address before they would allow me close the account. They said they would send a verification code through the post office I can input in AdSense to verify my address (i.e. my US address). The problem is that I no longer live in the US and there is no longer an address to send to.

Also, when I left the US, I closed my bank account.

I find the whole experience cumbersome and unnecessary. I need to know if anyone else has experienced such and how they were able to resolve the problem? Also, is there any means of reaching customer service at AdSense directly, not the usual FAQ?

Car TalkRe: 11 Items Nigerians Should Have In Their Cars – FRSC by john650(m): 6:51pm On Dec 30, 2016
How about cash to settle them when they climb into your car and refuse to leave.

Like they really come to your aid when you are stranded on the road. The only relationship they have with motorist is to ask for bribe.

I find this very comical. My question is how much is it going to cost these 'MMM' losers to attend those prayer sessions? I don't suppose the man of God is doing it entirely for free....ha ha ha. He's figured out if 'MMM' can make you hand over your savings to a stranger in another country, then 'MMMM' can make you part with a few thousand nairas so you can be given false hope...lol. It doesn't get any better than this.

A sucker is born every minute.

PoliticsRe: "We Will Take Bribes Like Police" - FRSC Officials Threaten FG by john650(m): 9:16am On Dec 21, 2016
lonelydora:
But FRSC are taking bribe already.
They are worse than the police. Because they don't carry guns, they are assigned to areas in groups of 6 to 10. Last week, I was traveling on Airport Rd in Lagos, one of them came almost into the middle of the road to ask me to pull over. I pulled over. He said I was using my phone. I told him I was not. He asked for my license which I refused to give him. He tried to climb into my car. I told him I do not want him in my car and locked the doors. He called out to his colleagues who were sitting in their pick-up vehicle chatting a few yards away. I knew the situation would get worse for me when his friends joined him. My car was already running, so I just hit the accelerator and took off. Do you know this idiots got in their pick-up truck and started chasing me. I turned into one of the side streets in a place called Mafoluku off airport road. I could see them turn into the same street. However, because I was at least 200 yards ahead of them and the roads their were bad coupled with some traffic, I was able to evade them by making numerous turns into side streets.

There is no need for an FRSC. They are one big bribe taking organisation. In most countries, the police do the same job. That organisation is just a waste of resource. The government can eliminate that ministry and save cost.

FRSC should be merged with the police to save cost. The job they do can be done by the police.

Amaka is asking people who invested in the MMM scheme to wait because they've used the money to organise a lavish wedding and honey moon for themselves...ha ha.

Basically she's saying wait until more mugus invest in the scheme because there is no money available to payout at the moment.

Nice going.

I'll rather take my chance and roll a dice in Las Vegas.
PhonesRe: Minister Advises Nigerians To Brace For Telecom Data Price Increase by john650(m): 9:23am On Dec 07, 2016
timbros:
This man keep referring to the days of NITEL. How many operators were in existence then?

I still don't get it. So NCC is more interested in the protection of the so called smaller operators than the over 170 million consumers nationwide?

This is absolutely disgusting.
NCC is working for the small operators, who are probably the same crooked politicians that have brought this country to its knees.

If the small operators cannot compete, they should exit the industry. We don't need Small operators who we have to support through price increases. There is no floor price on any goods we buy in the market. Why should we have to pay a floor price for telecommunication.

NCC, another crooked government agency with misplaced priorities.

grin

Now this _shit is funny as hell! What does an Indian know about making yam porridge and egusi soup or jollof rice that we now have to purchase it from them?

No be our own chow?
Obviously, the Indian doesn't hold us in high regard. He has probably spent some time in Nigeria and studied our behaviour. He figured if we can import toothpick, why not egusi and ogbono. I bet you if you put that canned egusi and ogbono soup in the market, people will buy it quicker than the one their mama cook.

If the local textile material we use to make clothes is imported, why not our local delicasies.

The fact is that the world is evolving.

Traditional careers like medicine, engineering, law, etc are good but they are nomore the leading pathways to success.
But many Nigerian parents will beg to differ.

A doctor spends many years and money to train in his field. At the end of the year, he/she walks home with $250k. A young kid does a Youtube video on how to apply makeups, gets million views and followers, then bags millions of dollars in a year.

Like they say, life ain't fair.

Nigerian youths need to embrace information technology. Sadly, most of them use the internet only for gossips, reading news and visiting listservs, blogs, instagram, facebook, etc.
\
But some people have to be consumers of news. Everyone cannot be a blogger. Who will read the blog..lol.

How do people enter Illegally?
Some people cross the land border without documents. They don't go through immigration checkpoint. They just walk across in areas that are not fully patrolled by immigration officers. You will find this along the southern US Mexican border. That's why Trump is talking about putting up a wall.

We could have asked sister linda her definition for poor guy......
Never marry a woman that makes more money than you even if she agrees. She will be unhappy and so will you. Women are meant to be under men and that's why they keep looking for someone they can look up to.
