cruzclinton1:Please stay away from laptops with AMD processors. They are no good. |
MizMyColi:I have a different experience. My Toshiba Satellite with AMD processor has never worked as it should. It overheated so much that the screen has large black spots on it. Other times, it shuts down by itself and reboots. When I put it down, it gets so hot that it starts rebooting itself. For best use, I must be in front of a fan to keep the system at optimal temperature. With that said, I think the problem is with the AMD processor. Never buy a computer with an AMD processor. The older Toshiba I have that runs an Intel processor doesn't have much of a problem except that one of the hinges that holds the cover broke and I am having trouble finding a competent hand to help me fix it. |
lawkenoz:Interesting story I must say. Would make a nice Nollywood story. The person who wrote this story didn't tell us if SP Ekene is also married. That would put another twist to the saga. As for ASP Ikponmwosa, she is obviously a very cheerful giver. This one go dey pass disease around. Mr. Ogbonna has to be the biggest loser I have ever heard off. He must have some loose nuts in his brain. |
fiizznation:Emir Sanusi, we know its you here debating about the wonderful virtues of Islam. We are not buying your story. You Muslim fanatics are destroying this country. Let people who want to drink alcohol drink it. You do not need to impose your will on others. What about non-muslims who live in Kano State and want to drink? Do they have any rights under the Nigerian constitution? You lived in Lagos sometime ago as a Banker. Did it kill you watching Lagosians drink alcohol? There are worse vices in the North killing people everyday than alcohol. Boko Haram alone has done more damage to people in the North in the last 7 years than all the alcohol that has been sold in the North since the founding of this republic. Not all of us in the South drink alcohol but we don't go around barring those who drink to stop or to kill the industry. Proceeds from those beers you are destroying are used to support communities. They build schools, provide water, good sanitation, clinics and many other facilities that the government has failed to do. Just two weeks ago, the Maltina Teacher of the Year Award, which is sponsored by Nigerian Breweries and the Felix Ohiwerei Education Trust fund handed out millions of Naira to state champions of secondary school teachers from each state who competed in the event plus the national champions, including a teacher from Borno State. Nigerian Breweries will also build six blocks of classrooms in the school of the overall winner. Though Maltina is a malt drink, the company that makes it is Nigerian Breweries, a beer company. They've been using their profits to support communities in Nigeria, helping improve lives for over 60 years. What I'm getting at is that you do not need to kill the goose that lays the golden egg. You'll end up hurting yourself. |
She needs to keep her mouth shut so the current Oga for Aso Rock no take away her license. |
Julietcutie:Juliet, not all Ibo women are wicked but in most cases of this types of child abuse, it is an Ibo woman involved. We've read many such cases here on Nairaland and I'm sure we'll see more in the future. Next time it hits the front page, check the ethnicity of who is doing it. I'm not trying to run down Ibo women but there must be something in Ibo culture that is making many of them to want to mistreat other people's children. |
cutekhalifa:Yeah, what a brilliant response you gave here. So its ok what she did. |
Jacko1:It is always Ibo women mistreating other women's children. I saw something similar at a Police station in Agboju, near Satellite Town. The woman, who inflicted scares on the young girl about the same height as this girl had breast cancer. You would think with her condition, she would have learnt something about treating other people's children like her own. And like I said, she was Ibo. I remember the Human rights person at the police station, who is Yoruba asking her why it almost seems like all the child abuse cases she gets in her office are cases of Ibo women with children mistreating other people's children like slaves. She got on her knees and was begging the police human rights person to forgive her. |
If Lagos is the fifth largest economy in Africa, who is number one through fourth largest economies? |
aalangel:She looks like a transvesite without her wig. I know it's a terrible thing to say about someone, but I don't think this modeling thing is going to work for her. Couldn't they just open a bread factory for her? At least she'll be working in something she knows. |
This woman could actually look a lot better without the shadow lipstick. I wonder who told her that's the best lipstick for her. |
And her husband actually let her leave the house looking like that? Na wao. |
Winnelyn:Yes, we know why she's so happy. She lucky catch oyibo for this recession wey go pay her bills. |
Which kind job this her husband dey do wey dey make am money like this? I think say we dey for recession. I guess e no reach where dem dey. |
havennie:That means you may not have too many to choose from statistically speaking..ha ha. |
Charly68:No, that would be a bad idea. It will turn them into zombies and they will start framing innocent citizens to get money from them. |
psucc:E tire me o. I thought EFCC was already taking a cut off the top. Now he's pushing to legitimize it for the boys. |
This is like telling the fox to guard the hen house...Ha ha. Real funny. This can only happen in Nigeria. |
If it's not the wives trying to use hot iron to kill the maid, it is their husbands with insatiable sexual appetites raping her. What is wrong with our society? |
Klinee:If you've never being, then don't say what you don't know. Even in the USA, where there is a large black population, there are many communities where a white person will not walk towards you on the same path of the road. Instead, they will cross the road and walk on the other side. |
ireneony:Maybe someday she will. Babes ain't loyal these days. |
Why is this woman always looking for a fight? If she's not saying something bad about men, she's now dissing Beyonce who has provided an immense lift to her career. She never shows appreciation for anybody but herself. Always acting like a bull in a China shop. |
Did the story say she was a former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in the Eastern State? Did you mean former East Central State? Then why is she still in government? Isn't she a bit too old for this job? If she did serve as AG in the old East Central State, then we have a problem in Enugu State. It's the old patronage system here at work. East Central State existed over 40 years ago. |
Daniel1990:Don't worry Oshio baba will have time to do the needful once he leaves office. |
don4real18:No be only you e tire. Anything is possible in Nigeria with the right connections. Every Nigerian wants to become rich, famous and an elite overnight. |
I suppose they gave up on mother earth and now they are looking for life on another planet. What's the purpose? |
Some of these white women can't control their urge. Just because she dreams of being with a muscular black boy doesn't mean she needs to see it through. Look at what her actions did to her marriage and her husbands career and the shame she has brought to her self and young son. What is there to gain from Olang, a college dropout with no future. Olang is lucky he is dealing with a white man who does not want to jeopardize his career for a fool. Would he pull this stuff with a Kenyan man? They'll know how to take care of him. Useless boy. Mumu. Instead of going to school to become his own man, he is looking for a life raft. The woman doesn't owe him anything. She wasn't married to him. |
Jarizod:Lewed conduct. That should get him some jail time. There are certain behaviours that should never be condoned in a civilized world. |
SamuelAnyawu:They acquired SABMiller last year and the deal closes on October 10, 2016. So they will be taking over the assets of SABMiller worldwide, including Nigeria on 11 October. SABMiller has four existing breweries in Nigeria - Pabod Breweries in Portharcourt, Intafact Beverages in Onitsha, International Breweries in Ilesha and a brewery in Ibadan. For more info, go to: www.beverageindustrynews.com.ng |
SamuelAnyawu:What would really be sad is to watch AB InBev who has never been in this part of the world enter the country next month to take over the reins of SABMiller and then end up taking Guinness market share because Guinness management did not prepare for the pending change. AB InBev has more money than Nigerian Breweries and Guinness combined and we should expect fierce competition in the beer space. Nigerian Breweries has been preparing for this but not Guinness. The game is about to change. |
abumeinben:It would be heading for the exit doors by now. |
This is good news. I hope the school on my street is one of them so I can have peace. I can't imagine the state government would give them a license to operate a secondary school in a residential neighborhood and in a private home. I've been looking for a long time to find someone who would help me shut them down. The kids play lound drums all day. Does the state have a hotline where people can call in to report cases of illegal operation of a school? I will be the first person to call. |
