I would also like to have a chat with a few of those suspects caught in the act. I'm particularly interested in speaking with Ibrahim Babangida and Murtala Mohammed. I need to know if they are for real..lol. |
devilmaycry:Maybe others were involved in the plot. I for one don't buy his evil spirit story. He killed his employer barely one month after being employed. |
Look at the smile on the bride's face. Women and money are like that picture of President Zuma. |
jaymejate:The statement should have read 8 in 10 Nigerian women in Italy are there for ashawo work. It is misleading to say they are being trafficked when most of them go there willingly. It's like saying 8 in 10 Nigerian men involved in drug trafficing are victims. The women see it as a lucrative business, a quick source of hard currency. Why is it that most of the girls come from Edo? This has been going on for so long that almost everyone in the country knows about it, definitely every one in Edo knows about it, yet they continue to fall victim or should I say become willing participants. |
If this man is the head of NAN, I will never take any story syndicated by the agency seriously because it's all lies and just meant to make the government look good. |
Maybe she scared the living hell out of the immigration officer with what looks like a black cape. I thought of Count Dracula when I saw the photos. Would you want to run into this woman at night with those clothes and the shoe? Ha ha. There is nothing technically wrong with the dress except she looks scary. |
solidhomes:What a stupid idea. Ask anyone who has been to prison their experience. I say this because that is what awaits you when you start beating people up, even people that owe you. If you were in the US, I would say you go to a small claims court and file a claim against him. I think the maximum claim you can file against someone is about $5,000, it could be more. You do not need a lawyer to do this. You just go down to the small claims court and they'll give you a form to fill out. Once you are done, pay the administrative court fees which should not be more than $30 - $50. The court will send him a notice in the mail and give him a date to appear in court and defend himself. You will have to be there as well. I will advice you bring all evidence showing how he owes, etc. If you don't have proper documentation showing how the transaction took place, you will loose. However, if you can proive beyond reasonable doubt that he owes you, the court will award a judgement in your favour + court fees. If he fails to show up at court on the date he was told to appear, a judgement will automatically be awarded in your favour. Typically, the court will work out a payment plan with him on how to pay you back in case he does not have the lump sum to pay all at once. |
yahoofak:Best advice. I concur. If you are going to have issues with FX paying a foreign host monthly or quarterly as the case may be, stay away from them. If you don't pay them when the bill is due, they'll pull down your site. After one month, they'll delete it from their server. With a local hosts, you only pay once a year and when you compare what you'll pay to a foreign host, you'll find that a local host is a bargain. In terms of service, the foreign host offers better service support. If you run into trouble, they'll be there for you. They even keep a back-up copy of your site. However, if you choose to go with a local host because of cost, make sure you back-up your site daily or hourly as the case may be. Since you are using WordPress, there are very good free plugins to help back up your site. Do not rely on your local host to back-up your site, otherwise, you will be dissapointed. |
Mark Zuckerberg is obviously thrilled about his visit to Nigeria and meeting the President and his VP. He flies back home thinking this it until next time. He is in for a rude awakening. I'm sure a few folks got his phone number. He'll be getting phone calls from these people for all manner of help. One of such calls might come from the President and it will go like this: Phone rings at 3am somewhere in California. Mark Z rolls out of bed and picks the call. Mark Z: Hello, Hello, Who is this? PMB: Mark, it's your friend Muhammadu Buhari Mark Z: Muhammadu who? PMB: Muhammadu Buhari, the President of Nigeria Mark Z: Oh, Oh, your Execellency, I remember, you are Muhammadu Buhari, the President of Nigeria PMB: Yes, yes, how are you in America? Mark Z: I am fine. And how are you Mr. President? PMB: I wish I could say the same. These people are driving me crazy. Mark Z: What people? PMB: My fellow Nigerians of course. Mar Z: Why? PMB: You know, because I promised them change during the election, they expect me to deliver on it. Do they think I'm a magician? Even the one whose wife will not get pregnant blames me for it. Mark Z: I see. So what do you want from me? PMB: Ah Mark, you see, I really need help to deliver on this change thing I got myself into and that's why I"m calling you. Mark Z: Well what do you need from me. I know nothing about running a government. All I care about is Facebook. PMB: No no no, I'm not asking you to give me advice on how to run my government, even though I could use all the help I can get. You can never please these people here. Mark Z: So what can I do for you? PMB: Aha, now, what I need from you is money. You see , without money, I may not make it to the end if my term. I need real money to deliver on these promises I made. Mark Z: Wow, but Mr. President, I thought the country has resources like oil and tax receipts to pay for government programmes. What happened to all that? PMB: That is what I was getting at. What money? We have no money o. The oil money is not enough. Besides, I'm sorrounded by thieves who keep pilfering on the little that we have. Mark Z: But Mr. President, I don't have money to loan to a government. I was hoping to partner with some of the IT companies I met on my trip and perhaps help provide start-up capital to help fund their businesses. PMB: Mr. Z, forget those small businesses. It is me that need help. You don't understand, if I don't get help from you, I'm in deep trouble. Can you imagine, a man blamed me the other day for his wife sleeping with another man. He said if I had delivered on my change promise, his wife wouldn't have had a need to go begging another man for money. Can you imagine, stupid people. Mark Z: Okay Mr. President, out of curiosity, how much are we talking about here? PMB: Mr. Z, now you are talking. I think I would be okay with $2bn. It will help me deliver on my change promise. Mark Z: Wow, I don't have that kind of money. What do you think I am, a bank? PMB: You are more than a bank, you are Mr. Facebook. You are worth more than my country and all other countries in Africa except for maybe those people in South Africa. You can do this. I need help. Mark Z: Okay Mr. President. I will think about it. It is very late at night here and I have to go back to sleep. I have important meetings to attend to early in the morning. PMB: Okay Mr. Z. Please don't dissapoint me. Allah will bless you ten fold. You have my phone number. I will be expecting your call. Mark Z: Okay Mr. President, good night. PMB: Goodnight. Mrs. Z: Who was that? Mark Z: That was the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari. He wants me to give him $2bn to help him deliver on his campaign promises. What does he think I am, a bank? Mrs. Z: I warned you not to go over there. Wait till General Sani Abacha calls you. He may be dead but you are going to get more calls from there. Go to bed. |
Newsi:Surprised there isn't a picture of him with Dangote. Dangote could probably learn a thing or two from him like how to make money without bankrupting the banks , or how to get other people to do the heavy lifting for you while you have free time to do charity work. |
PrettyCrystal:Yes o. Behind the smiles, she hides a dagger...lol. Buyer be aware. |
He is probably the guy that stamps DENIED on your passport when you go looking for a visa to travel to America...ha ha. Na bad news him be o. Why won't they give him an award. He is the gate keeper and a real money maker for the consulate. |
iamawara:He'll change this country alright, for the worse. |
When a woman keeps hearing "you are so beautiful" from everyone around her, sometimes, she begins to develop an excessive admiration for her self. She feels superior to all other women based on her looks. She begins to demand attention from both men and women based on her looks. She develops a sense of entitlement and would become very upset when they don't have their way. Being in a relationship is very difficult and stressful for them because they demand perfection. It's called narcissistic behavior and that's what I keep feeling every time someone posts a picture of Ebube. She is definitely beautiful but we are seeing her pictures almost every week and these are not professional photos for her work. They are just "I am beautiful, look at me now". |
TheManfromKenya:We are in a season of baby bump. Eventually, it will all go away. |
Her current complexion is perhaps the effects of global warming. |
dainformant:Abeg, make una no swallow each other. |
Funny the wife's name is Comfort but according to the husband, she was providing everything but Comfort...he he. Na wa for this marriage. |
lonelydora:He didn't do anything for his people because he wasn't corrupt. Did you expect him to use money earmarked for Nigerian embassies overseas to develop Asaga and Ohafia? If he had done that, his name would be associated with some of the people being dragged before the EFCC now. The man doesn't owe anybody anything. He simply served his country and he did it very well. I wish we could have more public office holders like him. We would be in a better place as a country. Farewell big man, you did your country good. May your soul rest in peace. |
I bet it is the fat one that lost her boyfriend to the skinny one..ha ha. That's how it always happens. You can see she is the one dealing a good beating to her smaller rival. Even when the skinny one tries to get away by descending the stairs, she is still holding on. |
Exponental:Isn't a coloured photocopy illegal to carry? You are presenting something that looks like the original but isn't to the authorities. Na wa for naija. In the US, no photo copy place will ever make a coloured copy of any document that can be passed as the original such as (drivers licences, academic certificates, passports, etc). The best you will get is a black and white copy. |
Isn't she taking on too much at the same time - blogging, radio, TV and music studio. I wish her well but I wish she could have re-vamped her blogging website first and then maybe pick one of the other businesses. She needs to understand a business before she can go all out. Just having money to throw at a businesses doesn't mean it will work. |
Justeenaleo:Really? But when you ask a Nigerian woman who has been flaunting her so called "baby bump" when she is due, she cringes and frowns on the question as if you have mystical powers to terminate the pregnancy. I had one girl at the bank tell me that's not a question I should ask her in this clime. She said it is un-African. I call it confusion of the highest order. When she had the baby, I never said a word to her. They can't decide if to go with the western culture or the African one. |
SolidGenius:I'm more concerned with where the money will come from to pay these people. I thought the country was broke. |
soberdrunk:Dangote reminds me of John D Rockefeller in America in the early 1900s when his Standard oil had complete monopoly of the oil industry. This was before the country passed a competition law. Nigeria needs a competition law badly to keep these big companies from taking advantage of consumers. |
hurricaneChris:Yes o. He is President for the North only. He never gave Nollywood a consideration before earmarking $10m of our money. He is a religious bigot. |
Yieldings:Yes o. It used to be the UK until that government stopped granting automatic citizenship to anyone born in the UK. Now our people have flooded US hospitals. That's what you get when you come from a third world country with no meaningful future for her citizens. If Donald Trump wins the US general elections, guaranteed he'll put a stop to all these. Go fix your own country is what he'll tell our people trying to obtain US citizenships through birth. |
She should have kept her clothes on. She looks better that way |
acenazt:All I see here in her poses is a vain and narcistic young woman who feels blessed for her natural endowments. She spends so much time admiring her curves. Beauty with no brain. I hope she grows out of it. |
RichYoungNigga:Nigerian government should not accept the young man since he was born in Switzerland. What the Switz are doing is similar to what Hitler did to the Jews and others during WWII. The Switz should deal with their problem. |
rhymaholic:MRS is just doing gra gra. We are not talking of pennies here. Let us see their records of payment. None of these big men like to pay back loans. AMCON has never being wrong on who is owing the banks. Abeg sell off their assets and pay back the banks. |
ozoigbondu:The conversation would go as follows: "Look at those foolish men who have been running things all these while. They think the world belongs to them. We are going to show them how things are done. Women power." |
