You should get an official stamp if it's a Nigerian bank but if you can't, you should have a genuine reason for printing an online statement.

Did you do well enough at the ND level? The first step is to evaluate your transcripts. Evaluate both the ND and HND, I believe WES would give a good outcome. WES is an agency and you can check wes.org to know more about them and what you need to get the process started. Best of luck my friend, don't let anything or anyone scare you away from your aspirations... Also, have a very reliable Faith in GOD. A Pass won't stop you from attaining that greatness.

Check Faleigh Dickson University in New Jersey, according to them, they are celebrating their 75th anniversary and the have scholarship money esp for intl students. However, I don't know how great the school is but it's a private institution.

HeHeHeHe... How did that "someone" know he/she was refused based on middle name issue? The person was refused regardless of the fact that the first and last names were correct? That's not convincing enough.

No, some schools don't have transcripts evaluation as a requirement. If you want to spread your wings to get more chances, and you have the $, you can take the pain of evaluating your credentials.

If a school request for evaluation, you can't evaluate your bachelor's transcripts alone... By default, you're an international student and you must evaluate ALL credentials. You have to wait for your masters results to be available in this case.

Talking about your chances, you should be fine provided you have a good standing academically. I legit can't discuss your chances bro.

IKR! 3.47/5.0 will hit a 3.2 ONLY if you use WES.

P. S. Start the WES application immediately if you're considering Fall 20, those guys can take a long period to finalize your process.

It is usually referred to as "Financial Support". Have you done the GRE and TOEFL? What's your level of education and what's your standing (GPA)... If you tell us that, someone would give you one or two heads up on where you can get funding.

TOEFL and GRE are under the ETS company. This company usually give out discount vouchers to agencies that register a large number of applicants. That's why you don't see anyone register IELTS at subsidized rates. It's business and I don't think I'm permitted to explain beyond that. If you need the address, the offices are in Ikeja and Ibadan respectively.

I checked their site, spoke with one of their agents, was told GRE- 70k while TOEFL is 60k.

I guess the almighty B.Y Mafit have a lot of customers at the moment and they decided to register people at those prices. Contact me or Ponpon.. GRE is 45k while TOEFL is 40k.

Good afternoon lovely people. Hope you are having a great day? For me it's a sad one! I have been refused f1 visa twice this month. On the 8th and 13th of May (today). The consular officers didn't really ask much from me. The first said I wasn't qualified because of my intended purpose of visit (212 denial) and today's own reads 214 (I don't have tie, employment etc...). Of course I do, and all the documents are in the folder but they never even ask for them. On my way home, I stayed at GTbank to make another visa payment hoping to fill the ds-160 form again tonight. Is it a good idea? The soon is resuming on the 28th of May,Should I defer my admission or try applying again? I might be able to convince the consular in the next interview that I have properties, job, family etc.. Damn! Something is wrong somewhere Please you guys should help me out. I have three countries visa on my old passport, they didn't even bother to check ah!

Just give it time bro. May the 28th is just few days away, I don't see how you want to twist something on your application(if you have other admissions for Fall, you can request for their I-20 forms to at least change something on your application). Drop your transcripts and explain what really happened in your first appointment.

Hi Quadri,

Before you can get into a Med School in the US, you have to be on a Pre-Med track and to say the least, that is a very expensive investment.
Even with your BNSC, you can't easily get into a GOOD MSN program cos most of these programs requires you to have a RN license. However, to get past the hassle of getting a visa, you need to show progression and consistency. You need to get on a graduate program that aligns with nursing and after then, you can apply to Med School.

Getting admitted into Med School from Nigeria is what I strongly doubt.

I hope you find light in the jargon I scrabbled up there.

To the best of my KNOWLEDGE, the school want all selected GA applicants to be on campus by either of those dates (you know which one applies to you) and should sign all appointment/employment documents before you can receive the tuition benefits. I stand to be corrected however.

If I'm right on that note, you need to tell them to make sure the GA benefits are evident on your I-20 (provided you didn't get that mail from the International Admissions Office) or better still if they won't do that, print the appointment letter that you received when you're selected and use for your interview.

Check google for the CGI contact address, they should be able to help you update your new passport number.

If it doesn't work that way, try to use the two passports on the day of your interview and I believe you should be fine with that.

Hello guys! Please I have a friend with a B.Eng and MSC in Mechanical engineering, he applied in to Texas Tech Uni for a PhD in Mechanical engineering but got rejected. He later got an offer from the grad school to accept a M. Eng. (non thesis) program in Interdisciplinary engineering which he already accepted. How will he defend this at the embassy? Would it be considered a red flag?

Which school did he get into? If he has plans to pursue a doctorate degree sometimes later, he should drop that "non thesis" admission and focus on the application proper. Also, he has a masters degree already and that won't help his visa application cos I absolutely can't place how he's going to defend his ambition for a second master degree. However, no one can accurately predict visa approval chances here, if he's a desperate fellow, let him go and try his luck and if things doesn't work out, he should grab his paddle and be ready to sail through the waters all over.

You can reschedule your test 48 hours prior to the registered date. Contact the company/person that registered you and the charges shouldn't be more than 10,000NGN. Do it ASAP!

What's your undergraduate specialization and GPA?
What (research and teaching) experience do you have?
Like I'll say, there's a school for everyone and if you don't want tofool yourself, you should know which schools you can get into unconditionally, schools that would fund you and you won't need to get loans or something. You should know your strength even before taking the GRE and with that, you will know which schools fit your profile and ability.
Don't start building your castle in the air, it won't pay you eventually.
