She is free to judge. But she should know that the exact measure of how she is judging Joshua now is what she will be judged with. She gives Johua no mercy, and she will not receive it too if she is not careful.

What does this mean? She is removing the mercy of God away from herself by judging the man even after his death. She felt it is for the sake of Joshua we advised her not to judge.
