Based on your post and it makes sense, it is the actually no of days, not working days. No reference to working days on IRCC website anyway. So 354 days gives 50 weeks and 3/4 days. That means it is not up to the 1560 hrs required. Tojued: What Joo2018 said
What Joo2018 said. However, IRCC states that: We don't count any hours you work above 30 hours a week. This means you've worked for exactly 1,524 hours (50 weeks and 3 days). cc: @bronze25 |

The hours stated on working hours has covered full-time. For the second, see below attachments: It adds up to 354 days and 242 working days, but the criteria also states that 1,560 hours is required. You can assess yourself using the below links: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/eligibility/federal-skilled-workers.htmlhttps://www.timeanddate.com/date/duration.htmlPOST MODIFIED: Since IRCC does not count any hours after 30hrs per week, the time period might not fly as being up to 1yr. Has anyone used a period less than exactly 1 or 2yrs and gotten PPR? Not sure. You might need to wait and add to your working experience.
bronze25: Good morning fam. Please I have a little concern with regards to my reference letter.
Firstly, the words 'full time' was not stated in the letter but the number of working hours (40hours/week) was mentioned.
Secondly, I don't know if the date mentioned qualifies for one year (eg 23 March 2017- 11 March 2018).
These two issues have been bothering me. Please I would appreciate your kind advise. Thanks

Salut. You can try typing "gatineau" in the search bar and read earlier discussions. yengi: Hello seniors, we are a family of four , 2 adults and 2 children, and plan on settling in gatineau Quebec because of the perceived affordability of apartments and daycares whilst we look for jobs in Ottawa or elsewhere. Challenge is we don't speak French. Kindly advice if this is a good choice 2. If there are payoffs between home and daycare affordability to other expenses 3. Provinces and cities we can opt for aside the above mentioned. Your kind responses will greatly appreciated. Thank you. |

You are the 2nd person I've heard about who recently got transferred from London to Ukraine. Also someone with a long timeline. Two cases might be too small for a trend, but they might be trying to shed the weight of LVO's caseload. Stonebreaker01: Good morning house... and congrats to all PPR recipients
I received my 2nd GCMS notes yesterday and the observable update from the 1st one which was received a little over a month ago is that my file has been transferred from London Visa office (August 2nd) and my Primary visa office is now Kyiv visa office (Ukraine). I'm quite confused about the relationship between my application and Ukraine, or do they just randomly select visa offices to transfer files to? Reason for transfer wasn't stated, I'm guessing workload. |

"Permanent residence applicants You will need to give your biometrics and pay the fee, regardless of whether you gave your biometrics in the past to support a visitor visa, study or work permit application, or a different permanent resident application." All you need is here: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/campaigns/biometrics/facts.htmlbronze25: Good morning, please I have a question. Am asking on behalf of a friend. She did biometrics last year when she applied for visiting visa, the date is currently showing on her account. Now she has been invited for another biometrics after she passed medicals.
Should she go ahead with the biometrics or contact IRCC?
Thanks |

I don't think there is any problem. "Former" is key here. You need to upload the biographical page of your current passport to prove your ID. Since you remember the travel details in the old passport, you will fill the details as much as you can remember in the Travel history part of your application. Get a police report for the lost passport as a backup in case it is requested for. berra: Good morning people. Please help! I lost my former passport bearing my maiden name . The passport has my visa to India in 2009 and Visa refusal to Austria. Will this affect my EE application? Reason for Visa denial is what I can't even remember because this happened in 2010 but I think it was related to inconsistent proof of funds (I was only going to attend a conference o) how do I explain all this in my application. Just confused. Please chook mouth. Thanks |

Two or more certificates is an undergraduate degree + a diploma. Masters is a full PG degree on its own and can be evaluated alone. When you evaluate your Masters alone, you get the same score as when you evaluate both B. SC and Masters. Nancyeliot: Elders,
Please help me be very clear on the two or more certificates requirement. If i have a masters degree and Bsc, am I also to fill that i have two or more certificates or do i require another qualification alongside the Bsc( since my masters degree will be presented ad my highest qualification) to meet the criteria for " two or more" |

Alright. Maybe you can modify your post to show that immigration target levels might drop and getting PR become more difficult. Express Entry is the electronic-based system to apply for some PR programs and may evolve as technology changes, but is unlikely to be reversed for a paper based system. Cheers. intswagga: LOL Well from the five year plan the immigration chief had they will take 340,000 in 2020.. but it never mentions subsequent years so its yet to be confirmed but its best not too take chances.. because theyre goal was to Immigrate 980,000 people or so to Canada within that time frame.... In my Opinion it might still be there but am guessing more stringent rules will follow after that period. |
