For now, citizenship applicants are exempted. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/campaigns/biometrics/facts.htmlIfeoma77: If you submitted before 31st July and did not pay for biometrics, you are safe from the biometrics rule...for now. You will be required to do it years down the line when you are renewing your PR status or applying for citizenship. So whether you escape now or were caught in the 31st July deadline, ultimately you will give it somehow, someday |

If it is applicable to you, you will get a letter. Don't sweat it. ShininLite: Thanks for responding but this didn't answer my question...
I know about the requirements and the countries to give their biometrics.
I am referring to applicants who submitted their application before the July 31st introduction of biometrics. These set of people didn't pay for biometrics.
How and when will they get to go for their biometrics? |

Mm. The date modified part is confusing as the contents of the page has changed. However, not sure there is any other page. You may give Prime Medical a call. Their contact is on their site. Inenghe: the link you provided was modified in Feb. I checked sometime in July and prime medical center was there. Guess we need an update from July. |

My 2cents. If you can, get the backup and keep, otherwise don't sweat it as long as you are not claiming points from it. Jbelieve: Ok thanks. I just want to clarify, so if i put in the details for NYSC experience, I don't have to bother about back up i.e. the employment or reference letter. |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 5 by joo2018: 4:17pm On Sep 07, 2018 |
The reference letter is relevant primarily for work experience that you are claiming points for. For personal history, be as factual as you can. LVO seems to be the only VO that sometimes disturb for evidence of items under personal history. Jbelieve: Please help me with this question.
I intend to use only one NOC which is under my present work experience and not include my NYSC experience because i don't have any reference from the company. However, the question in personal history says that don't leave any gaps in time. If i don't include my NYSC there will be a gap of over a year.
How should i handle this because i cant get reference letter from that company and i cant lay my hands on my acceptance letter. |

Self Employed Person Program is different from Express Entry. You must be in entertainment or sports. In addition to the POF, did you submit the other documents required? sosasatire: I was sent the message below requesting for POF and I have sent it. I just want to know what is the next step for me. I applied for Self Employment Person Program.
Dear XXXX XXXX:
This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada under the Self-Employed Person Program.
In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require updated documents that evidence these requirements of the class. When submitting these documents, clearly label which requirements they are evidencing.
In addition to these supporting documents, we also ask that you provide the following:
-Updated Schedule A forms for all applicants over 18 years of age
-Bank statements evidencing deposit of funds generated from cultural/athletic/agricultural activities outlined above (please highlight the deposits)
-Bank statements from all bank accounts that finance your family
-Additional Family Information forms for yourself and spouse (if applicable)
-Any other information you wish to be assessed for this application.
*** To avoid delays, please submit all requested documents at the same time ***
You have 30 days from the date of this letter to submit additional information so that we may continue processing your application. Please note this will be the ONLY opportunity we will provide for you to submit additional evidence. Your application will be assessed in 30 days and the final decision will be based on the evidence on file at that time. If you choose not to respond with additional information, a decision will be made based on the information on file, which may result in the refusal of your application. |

You might need to use the CIC form and let us know how it goes so others might learn. Nobody has posted on this thread getting refund directly from Canada.ca. PS: The refund is only for those who paid HST back in the days. WES now allows you to avoid paying it. cc:savagebanker casecasr: Hello seniors,

Some speculations on the delay in IRCC passing medicals after AOR. A lot of people have talked about a seeming change in the process of AOR to PPR. The general observed process was AOR – NA1 – MEP – IP1 – NA2 – IP2 – NA3 – PPR – CoPR. The idea seems to be that it is only if medicals has passed that other stages of the process can continue. But now, medicals or MEP seems bypassed. I posit that it is due to changes in the medical inadmissibility policy. In April (implemented June 1), IRCC made 2 changes: a. increasing the cost threshold for medical inadmissibility to 3 times the previous level, and b. amending the definition of social services by removing references to special education, social and vocational rehabilitation services and personal support services. Before, applicants may be found inadmissible if the services required to treat their health condition or that of an accompanying dependent is anticipated to cost more than the annual cost threshold, which, for 2017, is $6,655 per year and $33,275 over 5 years. This affected approximately 1,000 permanent and temporary resident applicants who receive a medical inadmissibility finding. This is 0.2 % of applicants who undergo medical screening. By raising the cost threshold 3 times to $19,812 per year, IRCC has made medicals almost irrelevant. If before 99.8% of people pass medicals, then virtually 100% will pass now. Medicals is now just a formality and can be done at any stage of the process. It can even be the final stage that will trigger PPR. My 2cents. Relax on whether you have passed MEP or not. Your application processing is still going on. IRCC notices: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/news/2018/04/government-of-canada-brings-medical-inadmissibility-policyin-line-with-inclusivity-for-persons-with-disabilities.htmlhttps://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/news/2018/04/changes-to-medical-inadmissibility-policy.htmlIRCC policy: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/mandate/policies-operational-instructions-agreements/excessive-demand-june-2018.htmlhttps://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/standard-requirements/medical-requirements/refusals-inadmissibility/excessive-demand-on-health-social-services.html@Glitteringstar, @mcstan18, pls update the links on medical inadmissibility in Page 1. |
