Higher taxes than other provinces though. Though to balance it, things seem to be cheaper and there is a lot of support for children.

I'm learning French too sha. I don't really have an aptitude for it, I mean I've been learning it for years now and not gone far. But the benefits of speaking it outweigh more than living in Quebec. As long as you are in Canada, having French in your arsenal seem to be advantageous.
Ifeoma77:
Some people have the aptitude for languages, in 3 months of study, they'll be speaking like natives.
This is an incentive for such people to take french a little more seriously. There's nothing as sweet as being spoiled for choice with jobs.
I wish I had the flair for languages, Quebec sounds like a dream

Quebec wahala too much jare with their French stuff.

While searching for jobs online, I keep seeing so many jobs adverts from Quebec, so many unfilled positions. But people seem to be avoiding there especially once it is not Montreal where you can still find some English speakers.

Thanks for your story. I have always maintained we need stories of rejection so people can learn.

See the bolded. First time I'm seeing someone's point drop because of using different NOCs. Are you sure that was the reason? I have a friend who is about to apply who is using 2 NOCs.

v3:
What is the step-by-step procedure to apply for Canada PR?

Applied for PR through express entry program at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada | Immigration, Réfugiés et Citoyenneté Canada.

Horrified to see my CRS score got dropped to Bleep points. Found out that since I had work experience among different NOC, CIC only took my recent NOC experience and reduced my points.

Luckily got ITA in the next draw itself, minimum score was Bleep.

Lesson learned, even if double / triple check everything something might always go wrong. Do not loose heart and keep at it.

Pray tell, how did you create a profile before without ECA and IELTS?
Ndkings1:
Thanks so much....

I have even deleted my profile...
Do you think I should create another one??
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 5 by joo2018: 8:13am On Aug 28, 2018
To also add, the ECA when ready is valid for 5yrs. More than enough time to do something to boost your score. Once you have your ECA and IELTS (valid for 2yrs), enter the pool and continuing looking for ways to upgrade your crs score. The date you enter the pool helps you if there is a draw cut tie.
Ndkings1:
Good morning people.

I want to stay down while I look for a way to increase my CRS.
Thank you

Hi @Sthill5. Can you pls confirm that with a link.
I actually searched for it, but couldn't find where Ontario immigration expatiated on "family ties" even in their application guides.
Sthill5:
No, it must be a sibling or that of a spouse
Under OINP EE, Ontario also has social connections or personal relationships under "Intention to reside in Ontario". Check the application guide pdf in this link: http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNP_EE_CAPITAL.html
However, I think as in all things Canada, you must be able to demonstrate with verifiable evidence a genuine relationship/interaction with him.
Opsyola:
Hello family.
Can my dad's cousin qualify as my family ties in Ontario
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 5 by joo2018: 2:43am On Aug 27, 2018
@chandlerbing was trying to tell you that your friend must wait till he/she gets his/her ECA report. The number is there.

And yes you can edit your express entry profile before submission.
Bisolar:
Lol thanks. I don't know about sharp oh.

I can't help out since I'm not at express entry stage yet but the WhatsApp groups haven't been of any help to my friend and I said I would ask here since I have an account.

In addition pls can the express entry profile be edited in case there's a mistake before submission?

So certificate number isn't needed at all in EE profile. Is that what you are saying?

Mm. I don't know of any academic program less than a year.

You have interest in accounting? How about ACCA? Or if you have the will, attempt French? You can search the thread for more if interested in either.

I have a funny problem here. I have been following this thread since Feb, well I am 25 , just started msc and my girlfriend (wife to be) is already done with her Ican but lately I have been thinking she can move with me next year to canny too already have the pof for 2 but does canada accept customary marriage because i am not interested in court wedding etc?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 5 by joo2018:
Congrats.
I believe you can start your application. Inform IRCC of your change your address when you land.

On changing from outlandish to inland application, that seems to be only applicable to spousal sponsorship. Just send them a change of address.
According to wiki: " All Express Entry applications are "Outside Canada" applications". https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Permanent_residency_in_Canada

You can see more links if you use "inland outland" + "Canada immigration" or + "permanent resident" in google.

I also don't see how not going with your family can be a problem. Your EE application is for your whole family, right? The only challenge will be on submitting passports after PPR. Then you can refer to @sistaj's post.

teslims:
Hello Gurus,

Please help me out as I have not been able to get a good answer from my research. My study permit was approved recently and I will be going to Canada in the 1st week of September. I also just received ITA this week, should I wait until I arrive in Canada before submitting my eAPR or I should do so from here?

What do I need to change in my profile to make my application inland? My family is not going with me, could that be a problem?

Direct suggestion or link to the right info would serve me well.

Thanks,

Uncalled for!! Petty incitement!!
Godisincontrol:
After the insults and the name calling, the bitter truth has been told. This thread will survive, people will find their NOCs and they would move to Canada with or without the "elders, seniors, junior or layman". If you do well to go back to when this thread started from Part "0" you will find that a whole lot of people have come and gone and the journey to Canada is still on.

Soldier go, soldier come barrack remains the same.
