Wawu! Speedy PPR for you! Owlette: So I have come to testify. It is not a PPR, ITA or IELTS testimony. Lol but for me it is a great victory! Finally ABSU has released me from its stronghold. My ECA has been awaiting ORDINARY VERIFICATION since February 2018. WES has finally acknowledged receipt of the said verification. I'm so excited! ECA to be completed on the 12th of October. I'm beyond elated. |

Recent posts suggests 1 month processing using Vfs Lagos/Abuja. You can check recent COPR stories on pg.1. jelmusboy: Please, what's the average time from receipt of passport by AVO to issuance of visa and COPR and back to the applicant?
Want to know before I request change of PPR letter from LVO to AVO. I don't want AVO hypertension |

Work permit allows him allows him to travel and work. He can then do ielts/celpip, get his eca done and apply through express entry. babstope05: Good morning, nairalanders, a friend received a full-time job offer (arranged) from Calgary in Alberta. He is aware of the LMIA and work permit. My question is this should he, after getting a positive LMIA and obtaining a work permit, apply for a TRV or apply for PNP to Alberta? Please, i need an urgent response this. Which route is best for him? |

As long as a decision has not been made on your application, I believe it is still under processing. A number of people have been reporting their applications transferred to Kiev from London. It might to be due to caseload distribution. You might need to request your GCMS notes as advised earlier. MissAsa: Hello all
I hope i am in the right forum. My case is a very unique one and i currently do not know what to do. I would appreciate it if someone can help me in this forum.
I got my ITA in DEC 2017, submitted my application in March 2018. Since my submission, the cic has asked for several forms and documents which i have sent to them before the deadline. However, they asked for some documents to be submitted by July 14th, due to an error on my part, i uploaded the documents on the 9th but didnt sign, so it wasn't submitted. I realised my error and submitted on July 29th. I wrote to them via a webform explaining this and they replied saying that they have acknowledged the receipt of the documents but didnt state if the delay in submission will be an issue. Currently, my 6 months bracket for the PR application has been exceeded and my background check has not started. I called the canadian office and was told that my file was moved to the London office. I contacted the london office but i am yet to get a reply. I called the canadian office again and they are currently saying that my file is in Ukraine. I am confused, please can anyone on this forum help me with a suggestion or a contact that can investigate my case. |

Arrived in Calgary yesterday. Flew from Abuja air France. God favoured me I got a seat upgrade. So the 6 hour flight to Paris was comfortable. Had a 2.5 hour stop over in Paris. Then the 9.5 hour trip to Vancouver. I paid for a seat with extra leg room. So was quite comfortable too but my feet still got swollen lol. |

Legal basis or qualification? Do you have any evidence of a training program at work or on-the-job training? Maybe it may help. DaddyTheFather: hey people...rookie question coming through abeg...
Precisely what legal basis do nigerians have for working in audit for PWC or KPMG for example, if they dont have ICAN yet (which many I know dont have because they got into PWC even after graduating from engineering degrees). asking cos ADR says to supply this information and I need guidance on how folks that have applied as auditors did so. any input is appreciated. applied under NOC 1111. |

You only need your passport. It is dependants that need birth certificates. However, pls do the affidavit and keep it. Who knows when you will need it? woaini: I don't? Then I can shove the worry away na.... like I said I am gathering all documents before hand, felt birth certificate is one of the required documents. If it's not then I am good to go abi? |

Lol. This is Nigeria. The PPR is for your friend, right? Congrats to him. Hopefully when he gets the gcms notes, you will update us on the final evaluation of his work experience and his CRS score and the notes made by agents/officers. grammy010: Hello Fam,
So I brought a certain issue here sometimes ago where a friend had mistakenly filled in 3 years as his work experience whereas he had just 2 years and 10 months. I made it clear that such mistake occurred while he was filling his questionnaires and was also carried over when he submitted his application.
PPR Sept 17
Thank you all. |

Outcome of restricted access to medicals in Nigeria. People should stay woke and always plan ahead. If the number of panel physicians doesn't increase again, the waitlist will keep going up. Last month wait-time for Qlife was 4wks now it is 5wks. Kods1900: If you’re post ITA and you haven’t scheduled an appointment for your upfront medical exam, I suggest you do that today (For Lagos only).
Next available date for;
Q-Life is 23rd of Oct
Children’s Practice is 10th of Oct
And IOM is 3rd of Oct. |

IMO, it is not a big issue as it is informal and there are no gaps in your employment record. Unless in light of the story yesterday, you have made a big deal of it in social media or it is so recent that it shows regular payment in your 6 months statement of accounts. My 2cents. Others can add. teatoe: Not at all. My job experience was adequate with my full time job!
Ran close to a year, got paid. Nothing formal! |

Did you leave any gap in your employment history, was the work paid for and how long ago was it? teatoe: Dear All,
Kindly assist as i think I may have goofed in this regard. I had a brief stint with a small consulting firm as a part time gig for close to a year and didn't disclose owning to the informal nature of the job. I am currently in IP2 and need to know if it would be necessary for me to raise a cse at this point or just let it go! Please your candid opinion will be highly appreciated |

None as far as I know. Your Nigerian drivers license does the needful. The IDL is only valid as long as your normal license is valid anyway. cntabs: Good day house,
Please I'd like to know what the benefits of getting the international drivers license before going to canada?
