And for it to still be there two years ago according to u, (if it's for a fact), then Adekunle is really trying ooo, or could it be that he has dead nasal cells? Halitosis is a serious something oo.

I take exception to most of the negative comments here about her body/looks. She's just fine & cool the way she is. some people can never be pleased, no matter how much u try. If she were fat/obese, most of u will still criticize it & now, she's slim, fit & ebony coloured, you still go on 'body shaming' her. Even fellow women here aren't left out in the negative criticism. Someone even called here skin 'dirty' . This is unfair. Let's learn to appreciate people & if u don't like the person, you could simply pass without using wrong adjectives to qualify the person.
CelebritiesRe: Paul Obazele: "Gays And Lesbians Control Nollywood Industry" by joyousever(f): 7:37pm On Mar 10, 2019
I've stated my stand & how I feel about them & that's final! Good luck to your stand.
BOWOTO:
You must understand, I don't feel comfortable about their sexual orientation, but they are not hurting anyone and any order. I live in an environment where being gay is OK. Its far advanced and civilized than Nigeria even with the law against gay people, they are not the problem. They only hurt you cause of person sentiments. Once you mind your business, it stops bothering you.
CelebritiesRe: Paul Obazele: "Gays And Lesbians Control Nollywood Industry" by joyousever(f): 6:50pm On Mar 10, 2019
I disagree! They are hurting us with their negative lifestyle that is a strong contrast to the natural order of things. I'll continually hate & detest them. Nothing is more disgusting! No apologies.
BOWOTO:
I don't like the gay act, but honestly we need to stop demonizing it. However people choose to live their lives has nothing to do with us, we must let them be and respect them. This mindset is still a major issue in Nigeria, not understanding diversity, people are different and will always be different. I do not support any idea that controls how people choose to live their lives as long as they are not hurting anyone.

I must commend u for your benevolence. And for the fact that you came up with this altruistic initiative in this 'Buhari economy' is heartwarming. You're a rare gem & a lady for that matter to undertake this charitable project, I'm impressed. I just took time & followed the thread from its beginning to its end, just to have a peek at people's job-hunting experiences & I ended up finding a number of them quite hilarious. I wish this thread could continue, just for the reading pleasure. Cheers!

Yes ooo! His mandate must be taken back by fire by force, whether APC likes it or yes.
oruma19:
I will personally kill Atiku Abubakar and kill myself if he betrays the confidence we reposed on by listening to idiots telling him not to go to court. We gave him our mandate by massively electing him as our President. Atiku has got no reason not to take back his mandate graciously given by Nigerians. If it will take our last blood we shall take the mandate back. To the courts we come seeking for justice. It can only be delayed but never denied.

Sandralina:
The Kindergarten Secretary

On my 21st birthday, my boyfriend promised me he was going to help me get a job after I got admission into National Open University. The institution's motto is “Work and Learn,” and I was very eager to get my self busy since the university did not hold lectures like other conventional universities.

Few days after my matriculation ceremony, I received a call from a man while I was having lunch with my hostel friends. He told me Julius(my boyfriend) spoke to him about me, and he requested we meet at a school in Evboutu or lose the big job. I had only swallowed two balls of Eba and I wasn’t filled at all, but I sprinted to my room and changed to something modest. I didn't want to lose this big job.

As soon as I got to the school, I explained to the gateman, and he directed me to an office. Seated there was a guy, probably a teacher because he had this long neck physics teachers usually had. The office had an empty seat and desk in it. On the desk was a laptop and some bunch of files. Upon sighting the chair and desk, I was like,
“wow this is my seat, I’m going to be a secretary.”

The first question he asked me was:
“Do you love children?”
Okay, what's happening here, I was confused, what do loving children have to do with a secretary job?
After a moment of silence I replied:
"Yes sir, I love kids very much."
“Wonderful” He exclaimed
"I’m the Director of this school, Julius told me about you. I like young girls who are hardworking, come tomorrow by 9am for your interview, I want you already". He concluded with a smile and gave me N1000 to go back home.

“Thank you so much”! I quickly collected it, and left the office.
On my way home I picked up my phone and called Julius
“Hello, baby guess what.” I asked
“what” He questioned “
I am going to be a secretary” I exclaimed
“Wow congrats babe,” I am happy for you he replied cheerfully
“Thank you, babe, I love…. “ Before I could complete the sentence, the call ended due to insufficient fund

The next morning, a painful pimple erected from my cheeks mixed with severe headache and catarrh. The only money left with me was the N1000, the director gave me. I contemplated on using the N1000 to get some drugs or using it to transport for the interview
“Get some drugs you might die on your way, remember you are the only child in your family” a voice whispered into my ear
“Go for the interview a big job is waiting for you” Another voice whispered into my ear.

I listened to the second voice, freshened up and left for the interview. The interview was supposed to hold by 12 pm, but it was already 11:00 am, and there was no bus. I had been standing on the road for more than two hours….. I almost cried “Is this how I will lose this job?” I asked myself.

As I was in thought, a bus approached me and I quickly jumped in. On my way, the bus gets caught in a traffic jam. “Chai this must be the work of my village people” I whispered to myself. I ran out of patience and decided to sprint down to the school (opportunity to burn some fat).

When I got there, I was sweating like a ram who just escaped being slaughtered. I was boiling! My hotness increased when I saw a lady seated on “my seat” Yes that vacant seat with the laptop I told you guys about.

I was already boiling in anger when the Director came in “Oya follow me” he requested He took me to a classroom filled with so many kids, the smell of poop was all over the place, some were crying while some had catarrh running down their nose. Then the director began his speech:
“This is the creche class” upon hearing that I was like OK, no secretary, I can manage being a Kindergarten teacher.

But the next sentence I heard was
“Your job is not to teach them, we have a teacher already. Your duty is to change their diapers whenever they defecate and clean their nose”
Are you kidding me? Change babies diaper? Is this the big job this fat belle man had been talking about? I felt like strangling him.

"Ok, how much is the salary" I enquired.
He waited for some seconds and replied:
"75"
I was like "75,000"?

I was already in the mood to start cleaning their diapers for that amount. He laughed hysterically and replied,
“No o it is N7500.”

My hotness tripled to the extent it could even cook beans.

This is slavery! 7500? my transportation to and fro is N6000 that means I will go home with N2000 every month
Waste of time!
Waste of energy!
I would have finished my eba that day If I had known.

“Thank you oga for your offer” I muttered
If I had spent one more minute in there, I would probably kick him in the balls. I quickly walked out of the premises, and as for Julius I never spoke to him again.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: I Need A Job by joyousever(f): 5:43pm On Mar 03, 2019
Are things this bad with u? You've been lamenting about this bad condition for sometime now. Where's ur location? You can simply make do with any job around u as long as it can help fend for you, till u get a better/bigger job of your choice. Just look around, you'll definitely see jobs u can do. As it is now, I'll advise u let ur degree certificate be & take up any available job like office assistant, P.A,house-keeper etc. If u can teach, u could pick up a teaching job & kick-start your life. If u don't want to be employed, u could work for yourself by engaging in a business. You Can go into dry-cleaning biz, it doesn't require any much capital. Just talk to people, go to banks, offices...& tell them what u do, reduce the charge rate & you won't believe how much you'll be making. Just give it a try & you'll be glad u did. Quit belittling yourself here every now & then by crying of means of livelihood & take charge of your life. Not everyone here cares about any man's challenges, cos everyone is fighting their own battles & running their own race. The highest concern may be an advice, which I just gave. The country isn't easy, brother. Cheers!

an average igbo man does not depend on government for survival
they hustle on their own and make living from their hard works even in an unfriendly hostile situations
that's why they don't give a Flying furck when supporting the candidates of their choice
they do so and damn the consequences because they owe no one any freaking apology and favours.
that's how you behave when you're 100% independent.

my question is can any other tribe boast of such independence from government?

I believe PDP plan is to use this election case to hold this government into ransom for their demands, they know they cannot win in tribunal or supreme court.
PoliticsRe: Atiku Inaugurates Legal Team To Challenge Presidential Election Result by joyousever(f): 3:30am On Mar 03, 2019
Help me tell them ooo, they're just jittery & dead scared of the outcome of Atiku's court moves, reason they're here consoling themselves by mocking his intentions. Shame on pro-tyranny apologists.
billante:
Why are buhari supporters so jittery about atiku going to court?

With most of the recent court judgment going against APC i won't be surprised if the tribunal before end of may nulify the election

OSUN case which Adeleke is almost 95% sure of winning will kick start that wave of positive court judgement

All those saying that Atiku is wasting his money going to court...very funny!
money that he has in excess is least of his worries now
PoliticsRe: Court Stops INEC From Issuing Certificate Of Return In Akwa Ibom by joyousever(f): 10:13am On Mar 02, 2019

In that case, I advise PDP to hurriedly get an injunction stopping the swearing in of Buhari come may 29th since INEC quickly issued him certificate of return.

Mr. Vincent, I think you've already figured out the best approach to solving this problem. Simply tell it to your immediate elder brother in a confident manner and together approach your eldest brother & confess. The confession is what will set u free, regardless of his reaction. You were very young & was coerced into doing what you never wished to do. Therefore, any right thinking person will understand your dilemma then. Cheers!

Shut up and let him follow the course of justice. If your puppet Chief Justice decides to take sides let it be on record and for posterity. His integrity must be tested, his name should be put at stake, so him and his children can bear the full burden of his actions in future. Shikena

Well, again, this is Nigeria. A country with a bleak future. I weep for this nation.
