Working for the NIA does not confer immunity from prosecution. The EFCC can bring charges and the AG will ask the NIA director to recall him to Nigeria. Under Buhari, that would amount to NOTHING and he'd remain in London. Under Tinubu, the NIA DG will have to comply. Meanwhile his assets would already have been seized.

Someone needs to do a PhD on these angry and bitter kids who turn almost every NL thread into a bazaar of tribal hate and profanities. Too many answered questions. For example, who are they? Who is giving birth to them? Where do they come from? Are they real human beings or are they bots created by Russia’s FSB or North Korea’s RGB to destabilize the world, upturn civilization and return mankind to the state of nature? Are they normal people or zombies from the netherworld? Do they live in the present, on Earth, or are they recidivist time travelers sentenced from the future or castaway aliens from some remote planet yet to be discovered by science? Do they operate with their clear eyes or are they permanently high on Canadian loud? Do they work for free are they paid by some misanthropic tech billionaire looking to get laughs out of their tomfoolery? Beside their apparent desire to create anarchy and replace society with nihilism, what do they want? Will arresting and jailing them improve them or only make them worse? Assuming, without conceding, that these philosophers of hate are fully human, are the antediluvian ideals they espouse inborn or are they learned behaviour? Can they be trained/reformed if the World Council of Psychiatrists intervene? Can Nairaland and similar listserves be saved from them?

Ajinomoto, which our people call "white maggi", is back. They're splashing megabucks on TV ads, using the line "made from natural ingredients". Back in the 90s, they were much vilified and dismissed as something used only by food vendors. But now it's back to the Nigerian market with a vengeance. Not that I have any reason to believe that its vilification was justified or that AJM is bad for health any more than any other type of "maggi" is, but you know how rumours and street talk go.

Interesting . What you should have done is put the onions earlier on, onion actually makes beans soften faster. That style is how I cook my cow legs now since my pressure cooker is no longer pressure cookering. I boil the meat for about 30 minutes, leave it in hot water for hours or even overnight. By then it would have softened after which I boil again for another 20-30 minutes, dem no born am well make e no soft. Na to improvise sure pass with the way things are going in this country
