Most country where Islam is a state religion. Except Turkey.

Turkey is a muslim country like UK is a Christian country. In both countries a large amount of the populace have a secular mindset.
Turkey is changing. Erdogan isn't joking around about his re-Islamisation agenda. Even before him, Turkey was never quite comparable to the UK - while the government was relentlessly secular, the same couldn't always be said of the population. Remember that lawyer back in 2006 who took a gun to court and opened fire on judges to protest the fact Islam wasn't having it good enough in the country?

I had close ties with Mobitel as at then, Charles Joseph and Odukoya, the Vice President of that company were close friends. I know the inside scoop. It is the game we play. I am not here to blame anyone, I am just saying that bankers are the best assassins.

Do you know how many times banks approach me to come and take loan and I decline ?

I know this game called Life.
That's right. My own brother was screwed over by FCMB. But that doesn't mean they go around killing people. While anything can happen, the motive is weak in terms of what they stand to gain by killing Joseph or killing a lawyer nobody has heard of until now. The bank's involvement in Joseph's death was just one of the several theories that came out at the time and some people chose to go with that. It was certainly the one pushed by Joseph's wife and even some lawyer committee was forced to delay the award of SAN to Kemi Pinheiro and carry out its own investigation. Others preferred "boardroom war". Yet some others preferred the suicide theory.

On banks being the best assasins, they certainly were dumb assassins in the case in this thread. From here, it looks as if these guys simply walked into the professor's office, poured blood on him, threw a kitchen knife on the floor and made a run for it. Or maybe the prof wore bulletproof vests to work.
Business › Re: McCarthy Mbadugha: Innoson's Lawyer, Shot 3 Times By Assassins (Graphic PHOTOS) by JuanDeDios: 8:54pm On Oct 17, 2018
TimeMachine:
Charles Joseph, the CEO of Mobitel, one of the first indigenous Private Telecoms Operators was killed by a bank (wont mention) because of loan issues of this nature when the bank was about going insolvent and as holder of a seat on the board, they wanted the company sold so they can recover funds to balance their books instead of going under, even though he was paying gruadually. He was thrown from a 4th floor to death, and the cover story was that he committed suicide.

Google is a dear friend.

Even in developed countries, banks sponsor assassination. Bankers and bank owners are the most wicked and emotionally disconnected entities you can meet.

They beg you to take commercial loan for a prosperous deal on promoted projects with the hope that you will default so they can take your businesses.

I am not holding forte for Innoson, neither am I casting aspersion on GTB; All I am saying is, that bankers are assassins almost always when it comes to money games.
There was no proof, not even a strong indication, that Intercontinental Bank killed Charles Alaba Joseph.

But I do believe in for better for worse. It should apply if she falls ill and you have to start carrying her or something like that. It should not apply if she decides to make your life miserable by her words and actions.

The funny thing is if you have this type of understanding, you won't even be rude to ur man in d first place. But you lack the understanding and expect him to bear it all bcus he's born to bear all ur rashness bcus he has no feelings or how?

I still repeat if he's not married u, he shd leave but if he's married and he's tried all civility and diplomacy possible, then desperation is d next step to instill the maturity expected of a married woman.
Which understanding? You're the one who appears to lack the maturity required of adults if you think it's okay to talk with your hands. You don't go around hitting people - men or women - because they're not behaving to your liking. Would you really like to live in a world where disputes are settled with fists just like gorillas do in the jungle?

It's because of religious indoctrination that you people think a marriage is written in stone and indissoluble. Wrong. If someone you're with becomes unbearable - married or not - and every effort to resolve the situation fails, you don't dehumanise yourself and her by beating her. You remove yourself from that situation; you end the relationship temporarily or permanently.

It's better to end a marriage that has broken down and thwarted all effort to fix it than to kill somebody.

The only time it's okay to get physical with anyone - girl, boy, woman, man - is if you're defending yourself or someone close to you from a physical attack.

Responding to stubbornness with a physical act is something an animal might do since it can't talk or think logically.

Ioannes:
Do you know what happens to those who sit and wait for luck to visit them? They grow white whiskers waiting. Luck isnt coming to pay you a visit, you make your own luck.

Nobody is going to lead any revolution in this country. We are too diverse for that and not hungry enough either. Neither did the United States build a formidable country with prayers only.

We know Atiku is a master thief but we want to vote for him all the same. It'd be really foolish to cry later on when he corners our commonwealth.

Each and everyone of us has a vote each. Our votes versus their votes and you realize that democracy CAN actually be a government of the people by the people for the people.

Yes, it'd be nice if all the other smaller parties coalesce into one big party so that we have an alternative to the other two rotten tomatoes vying for presidency.

Hopefully the other smaller parties will come to their senses and present a single candidate worth voting.

Irrespective of whether they become politically astute or not before election day, neither Atiku nor Buhari is worth voting for. QED.
I was not lauding the virtues of prayer or luck - I was highlighting the folly of relying on them instead of opting for a strategy. I don't even pray for myself, let alone pray for Nigeria since it's a waste of time. I merely telling you what IS. It is because I don't expect us to be saved by any of those options that I'm telling you about the devil's alternative, which is voting for Atiku.

Life is about cold hard choices. A second term for Buhari would have catastrophic consequences for this country. With him, we're not just talking of corruption but a president who has no clue and does nothing when the country burns. That must be prevented at all costs and the only way TO BE SURE is to vote Atiku since the smaller candidates don't stand a chance. Voting the smaller candidates is a gamble, a PRAYER, that by some miracle, they'd win. And prayers, on their own, don't work.

You know as well as I do that it's already too late for them to come together. And maybe you can tell me of one country where a third political party came together and was strong enough to oust the two big ones. There's a way these things work. Is Atiku a good candidate? No. Is he better than Buhari? You bet. The worst that can happen under him is a return to the looting that has become a part of our governance culture since 1986 and which the PDP is known for. With Buhari, whose only asset is a faux integrity, you get far worse than that.

You want to wash your hand for four years?

Someone else can't win because you've decided to cast your vote for Atiku.

We wanted Jonathan gone so bad we voted for Buhari, when there was a professor as presidential candidate in KOWA party, a lady you might have done well.

In four year's time you'll want Atiku gone so badly you'll be willing to vote for the next super thief.

And the cycle continues, and while other neighboring African countries continue to make progress, Nigeria is sliding back to the days of the dinosaurs just because it's citizens aren't smart enough to band together and push out the thieving elites.
You're RIGHT.

But there's also reality. Do you have any example of an executive president that emerged anywhere and proceeded to govern without a reasonable parliamentary backing? The way things stand today, that professor has to join a major party for any chance of winning. You said KOWA. KO-what? How many people even heard of her? How many states and LGAs did this professor visit? How many TV and radio appearances did she make to articulate her political philosophy and governance objectives? That's how politics works. Voting a candidate without presence or structures anywhere and whose party is likely to win zero NA seats is just a statement not a strategy. I'm sorry, but it's now things are.

Yes, the cycle will continue until we either revolt on the streets or get lucky and a good leader emerges from these rotten major parties. Yes, this too is a prayer rather than a strategy.

My proof is the specification of both phones which you can easily obtain online. Keep in mind for gaming and other activities such as running database scripts etc, we are talking about not only CPU but GPU also. Even a non modded sd845 will perform up to par with the A12 not to talk of a modded version. I'm not talking about your regular activities or daily usage here rather I'm focusing on gaming, specifically 3D games on max settings, I'm talking about throttling and performance under stress.
