Well meaning Nigerians should tag the bbc to take down the picture for the man's safety. Whats the essence of being a journalist when your life is always in danger sad
The Beeb is very careful about these things. They'd only put up his picture if (1) It's already out there (2) He specifically asked them to use it.

i got a false negative earlier this year after an operation (which is more dangerous). Now I'm suffering.
shocked
That's sure dangerous. My case was bad too, though, because I had commenced treatment based on the false result, meaning I had ingested substances I didn't need and spent some good money.

I hope you didn't find out too late!

I did a test once. When the result came out I discussed it with a church elder of ours who was a doctor at LUTH. He said the result didn't make sense because if I had what it said I had I would not be standing there talking to him. He said a lot of people get false results from labs. He said I should come to LUTH and he would run the test himself. That was done and it was found that the original test was a false positive.

There is no proof the things you listed work. That people believe they work doesn't mean they do.

Atiku should bear in mind, SE politics is a different terrain devoid of leaders and kings, these supposed leaders advising him cant even dictate for their extended families talk more of SE.

He would loose the whole of SE/SS if he reverses his decision for a less credible SE candidate as he has opted his VP from the region.

No sane Igbo person or group will protest that their son has been picked as a vice Presidential candidate.

If really Umahi said this, then the enemies of the East is within the East, and not outside the East.
I think so too.

ur post is insensible. In the spirit of reconciliation and restructuring don't u think its time we embrace the Igbo man again at leats for the good n unity of the country? Secondly for Atiku to go against all odds to pick a running mate from south east even though u Yoruba's are threatening not to vote him if he dares, does it not show u a strong willed person which in the interest of the nation? Atiku has shown the hr is detribalized as he learnt from OBJ his master, that is why he already has my vote n I will campaign for him both in this forum, on Facebook, WhatsApp , Instagram, n schools, in the markets, in the banks, in the church n even outside the shores of this country. Thank u
You made an allegation about Yorubas voting for Buhari because Atiku has an Igbo running mate - without a shred of evidence. When you're called out on it you go off on a tangent about Atiku being a strong-willed person? Ok. Atiku is detrablised - that is why you will vote for him. Interesting. You can't think properly because you see the world through your ethnic lenses. For you, tribe is all that matters and nothing else. With people who reason like you this country is in for it and will continue to be ruled by its worst entities in characters like Obasanjo, Buhari and Atiku. Tueh.

As for your line about embracing the Igbo, I don't need to because I have been separated from the Igbo. But I ask you again - who told you Yorubas are planning to vote against Atiku because of Obi?

*Edit
And have you seen those threads about Oyedepo, Adeboye (Osinbajo's friend) and Kumuyi mounting pressure on Obasanjo to support Atiku? These are Yoruba men. They're not supporting Atiku because he has an Igbo running mate and we should all be embracing Igbos. They're supporting him because most sensible Nigerians can see that Buhari has failed us to the extent that we have to do everything to push him away, even if that means an Atiku. It's a practical decision and it's for the same reason that I will vote Atiku. Unfortunately, you crazed tribal idiots of Nairaland can't think that highly - all you see is tribe as you huff and puff and abuse people of other tribes. Tueh.

Yoruba people think Atiku has made a mistake for choosing a candidate from the east sighting reasons why they think its a flaw move, one of the reasons which is that "he already has the vote of the east in his hands and need the vote of the west" but they r 4geting something
1. APC already has a Yoruba VP thus, if PDP makes a Yoruba their VP, then the vote will be simply divided between APC n PDP and APC will win since most Yoruba states are already being controlled by the APC but giving the VP slot to the east, the easterners will remind not just Nigeria but the entire world of their population all over the country.
2. The Yoruba's should not forget that even when they entirely turned their backs against PDP, the SS and SE stood by PDP. It is going to be groosly unfair to overlook loyalty for uncertainties knowing that u cannot predict the Yoruba man politically and also not forgeting that a good number of them has their loyalty with Tinubu whose allegiance is with the APC.
3. The Yorubas should not forget that when their son Olusegun Obasanjo contested for presidential election, the Igbo's gave him massive votes n supports, its not right to 4get history so soon. The Igbo's are not asking for presidency but because they have been chosen for VP, all of a sudden u don't want to vote Atiku. Well good for u, the north central, south south, south east are on their side n most especially God is on their side n he will put to shame all those who are enemies of progress. Thank you!!!

It's Kollinz1234
Interesting rant. Yorubas held a meeting, resolved they're voting against Atiku since he has an Igbo running mate, and showed you the communiqué? And since you think it's all about ethnicity and not what's good, how is it wrong if they vote Buhari because of their "son"?

I used to think this way until a perfectly normal woman started confessing right in front of all of us present. The next day her skin started peeling off like a fire victim. She never recovered till she died. She kept begging for forgiveness. She did not walk into our neighborhood, she lived there for more than 25 years before this incident and she had no history of mental illness. She wven mentioned her coven members and most of them ended up in similar circumstances.
How much of this did you personally verify? For example, saying she did not walk into your community is something people older than you said and you believed. Even the confession, you may not have been there personally the day she made it.

The FBI has dealt with cases of people who confessed to a crime they did not commit. Now, think of a village setting where a mentally ill old woman is being encouraged to confess that she is a witch and she goes on to admit it and mention some random people as her co-witches. Of course, the villagers will believe her and also make the lives of those she "confessed" miserable. Note that my post is not an opinion on whether witches exist or not - I'm just saying that these confessions prove nothing of themselves.

Those things are written for entertainment and should not guide you either way as to the existence of "witchcraft". Note that my post is not a comment on whether witchcraft is real or not.

This lady doesn't act like it at all.

A police officer should be more security conscious than the average citizens

Instead, she has been exposing herself to unnecessary security risk. For what? To amass likes on social media?

It makes me think she didn't get the job on merit. Imagine a police officer even taking pics of herself in bath robes and posting on social media
Well, she's a police spokesman, their image maker. I think appearing cool and trendy would help her make the force look appealling to young people. Even if all na wash.

Lie was speaking too soon....

But let's be honest. In 2013...Boko was bombing all over the place up and down. Now,they are not.

By 2014...Boko controlled large partsof Borno, Yobe and parts of Adamamwa...and were even moving into Bauchi...now they are restricted to tiny parts of Borno

And then they have been divided into two factions.

Boko is not defeated....but they are not the force they once were.
Right.

You are a political illiterate for making this comment.

Atiku don't need the Yoruba votes to win if the NC, NE, SS and SE vote massively for him.

The 14m registered voters in SW are 50% non indigenes.

The 18m registered voters in the NW are 30%-40% non indigenes.

Atiku will divide NW/SW with Buhari and carry the day in NE , NC, SS & SE
And other parts of the country - SE, SS, NC, NE, they don't have "non-indigenes"? And NW and SW people aren't also living outside their place just like other Nigerians? Mathematics is an interesting subject. When combined with politics we must be in for a hilarious time.

Politics › Re: Atiku + Agbakoba: A Viable Option To Get Nigeria Working Again by JuanDeDios: 1:42pm On Oct 09, 2018
madamgrace:
The news of the emergence of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as the presidential flag bearer of the People’s Democratic Party is no longer news.

For most Nigerians, he presents an alternative to the current Buhari-led Administration and as such may find favour in the sight of many.

We understand that he cannot run this race alone and as such there is need for him to select a credible running mate who will also appeal to the general populace.
Here’s my suggestion:
Atiku + Agbakoba – A match made in Heaven

The name Olisa Agbakoba is not new to Nigerians. He is the founder of Nigeria's foremost human rights organization, the Civil Liberties Organisation (CLO which played a key role in the birth of the Human Rights movement in the country.
He has distinguished himself as a top most lawyer and an astute policy maker.
In recent times, he has also become actively involved in politics and is the leader of the third force group of political parties.

A native of the Onitsha which is in the south eastern part of Nigeria, Agbakoba is Mr Integrity himself. He is an untainted, internationally recognized and high flying technocrat who runs a successful practice.

Atiku needs to look no further in the selection of a credible candidate who will be his running mate. The combination of these men will present an opportunity to get Nigeria back on the right track.
What "technocratic" thing has Agbakoba done that qualifies him for vice president? You think it's by human rights? If Atiku wants to get it right he will stick with someone with strong credentials on the economy - anyone like Chukwuma Soludo, Olusegun Aganga or Oby Ezekwesili would be a wise pick.
