What do you mean Islamic nations? You talking of all the OIC members? You got to remember that many nations are tired of the west's biased stance and policies, most hated is the US. People are now wary of deifying the US. Today's unipolar world has given rise to the west concentrating more powers, and excessively bullying other nations. Remember Libya, Iraq, and now Syria. I see hypocrisy in western policies: CIA rendition - kidnap for torture; Guantanamo -arbitrary detention; US/ Isreal's extra judicial killings of Iranian scientists; coups / regime change; using democracy and human rights to affect Western interests.
You have not made tangible point, the same blame game we hear every day, the west is killing Syrians? Baseless allegation after allegation. |
is this a joke or what? |

Demaejy: this is it....So what is wrong with moving it to a section titled: Ethnic, Racial, Or Sectarian Politics? |
Demaejy: Due to irrational arguement on which country is d most racist which no answer was given in particular because racist is in evrywhre of d world. When was that? |
AjanleKoko: This is the part that I find insulting:I supported that comment with this.... justwise: You just made that up because its far from the truth, probably that is the Nigeria you are dreaming of but in reality Nigerians hate each other with passion. |
AjanleKoko: No it's not.My comment wasn't insulting and i maintain that, the idea that Nigerians love each other and nobody cares if you are Igbo, Yoruba or Hausa is untrue and misleading, that is a fact and not in anyway an insult. |
AjanleKoko: That's a silly, disrespectful comment, justwise. Its not, its a sensible comment. |
Demaejy: Hope u get me wright and u ve embrace itMy view about your opinion on this issue hasn't changed one bit. |
AjanleKoko: Well, there are ethnic tensions everywhere. You just made that up because its far from the truth, probably that is the Nigeria you are dreaming of but in reality Nigerians hate each other with passion. |
AjanleKoko: Nigeria isn't racist. Not at all. That is contradicting, at one point you are saying Nigeria is not racist at all then you went on to mentions some cases. |
John8000: Oh okay.. Thanks mate! Fingers crossed then.. But I know God is always faithful.. I just hope they wldnt call to verify current balance... @ least I know the bank statement shouldn't raise any eye brow for them to doubt anyways.. Except.. Hmmmm.. I submitted the access bank statement 5days to a month before it expired... I mean.. I printed out the statement 16th july and submitted it 8th of august.. Since the rule also stated that the bank statement shouldn't exceed a month before use... Right? I pray they wouldn't have any reason to verify.. And my past record in the uk was kinda good considering the fact I didn't work or use up any of the 20hrs I was given in my previous or owe any school fees or criminal record..throughout my first stay in the uk .. I just hope they don't dwell on the current balance thing... Thanks justwise... Wld let u guys know how it turn out.. But am still positive anyway..That a plus to your immigration profile |
Demaejy: There is no country in the world without racism when it based on individual character but am jst wondering wht warranty pple to be mentioning Nigeria as the top. Demaejy: do u think i thought Nigeria shldn't be in d list? When i mentioned there is no country without racist,,i luagh |
John8000: Yes true, that would send a wrong intention.. I have tried checking if any nigerian bank has been blacklisted but I don't see any in the list... But seriously justwise, have u heard of anyone who has similar case and was refused?Like i said before, no Nigerian bank is on the list yet but they do update it monthly to add or remove bank names. I know one or two people who were refused because their banks were not corporating with the UK embassy during verification, in one case particularly the applicant got the bank statement from the branch office because he knows somebody there who 'build' the account for him but the embassy called the headquarters and found out the real deal. In your case, if you are refused (never wish that on any genuine student) you can win the appeal because you have the evidence that the money was transferred to the UK but you don't have the time for a appeal as it takes ages. I'm not in any way suggesting that the embassy is definitely going to call your bank....just painting scenarios. |
remmymath1978: Christian dont have problem interpreting the bible except those that have the holy spirit and any one without the Spirit of God is not him is not a christian. Its the Holy Spirit that help christian to interpret bible. Not true, Christians do have problem interpreting the bible hence the fraud and scam going on in churches today. |
Temistatics 007: read the history of guantanamo bay,5% of them were just caught with no offence under the pretext that they are dangerous to the existence of US citizens, the islamic nations have their reasons of being against USA,its just the way they allay their grievance that's wrong(terrorism). Why is the islamic nations against the west? |
Demaejy: didn't u read my post at all? I said no country without racist but who knws the extent rather than presuming. This is just a thread that will cause irrational arguement. No specific answer yet !I read your post very well and noticed that you are questioning those who mentioned Nigeria in the list and my question to you is.....why do you think that Nigeria should not be in the list? |
John8000: Thanks Just! yeah i am aware and i made it clear to my bank its for studying purposes plus i can always pull out my history at the point of entry if they need it or travel on a weekend if that might cause issue.. loool .. just a bit bothered if the withdrawal wouldnt affect my application.. the first time i applied for my visa, i withdrew the money from my account same day before submitting my application and i got my visa which i never thought i broke any rules till lately when a mate argued the rule stressed on 28days but sometimes they could be NUT but you know policy changes with the UKBA thingy and u guys treat issues like this everyday and i was wondering if you guys ever heard of anyone refused on this ground.. Don and Darky explained too but u know UKBA are crazy sometimes.. i really wanna believe they dont ask bank for current balance.. i dont know just hoping though... whatz ur thought? Actually the rule stated that you should keep the money for 28days and it also be available to you in the UK, so withdrawing it even before the visa comes out sends a wrong message. The UK embassy do not verify every account, they pick those that raised an eyebrow or at random, if they put a call to your bank and asked for the current balance in your account at that moment, what do you think your bank will say? UKBA blacklist banks that covers up fraud for their customers or banks that refuses to corporate. Check the UKBA website for blacklisted banks, no Nigerian bank is on the list but the list is being updated monthly. |
John8000: at once oooo.. all of it at once...i withdrew it and transferred it through my skye bank dom acct4M is about £16,000 which is above money laundering level, to cover your backside make sure you have paper evidence of the transfer history from your Nigerian bank to Barclay's bank. If you are 'flagged' and stopped for questioning you be asked to show those evidence. |
Demaejy: have u ever seen any of my post mentioned any country as a racist? Wht i do knw is evrywhre and is there any racist statistics officer here? This is a thread that can never have any specific or hv u seen one?You believed that Nigeria should not be in the list? Why? |
John8000: Hi guys, i see there is alot of help going on here and i am loving it... just a quick question bothering me... Is there anyone in this forum or who knows someone whose tier 4 visa application was denied because he or she withdrew funds from their account after 28days before submitting? cos i did and i transfered this funds to my barclays account in the UK.. i use to be a student in the UK before my course completed and visa expired.. i had to come home and make a fresh appliaction for my MSC... after holding over 4million in my access bank account in Nigeria for 28days, i decided to withdraw the funds and transfer it to my barclays account in uk since that is where i would be needing it anyways... hmmm i hope this doesnt have a negative effect on my applictn since the rule says.. hold for 28days. hey justwise, daktard and co.. please help out with this.... calm me down pls.. am kinda bothered! plus i submitted 8th of August, wondering since they held my application for this long.. maybe they wouldnt call my bank to verify the balance after all cos my school resumes early september and i dont think i got time to re-apply and start appealing and all.. please respond.. thanks.. waiting................... plsssssssssssssssssssssssssssDid you transfer that at once or batch by batch? |
ogheneyoma: just wanna ask a quick question here, is it wrong to use a bank statement showing account break down for january to august?or must it b only statement showing the last 28days transaction?. that is, sumone applied on august 13th wit a of statement of account from january to august. it was duly stamped nd signed by d bank anyway. How much was in that account by July? |

Demaejy: There is no country in the world without racism when it based on individual character but am jst wondering wht warranty pple to be mentioning Nigeria as the top. The same reason that warranty you to mention other countries as racist. |
people tend to commit mistakes. In school, you tend to break a few rules and get a thrashing. in the same wayy this guy must get a whipping. but in school, if you kill a teacher, you will be expelled. if this man comitted such a henious crime, then he too deserves a henious punishment, but not in this case.
Who typed that for you? |
rbjimoh: Have critics of islam ever challenged themselves to know islam, as it is,as opposed to what the western media said it is? Do it today and your mind would be tempered by the words of your Creator. Just google: 'stories of why people come into islam in the west' and you'll be misty-eyed at the end of your read of how great islam is. Haven't you honestly told yourself that no faith could've stood the blasphemy of the critics, as it is against islam, other than true religion? Haven't the so-called men of knowledge tried to find inconsistencies in the Qur'an vis-a-vis scientific evidences and only found Qur'an propositions far ahead of thinking of mortal men? Haven't you read that the meeting of Indian ocean and atlantic ocean, where there is no physical barrier seperating them but do not flow into each other, discovered by a Friend scientist in 1940s, had being a truth told in the Qur'an since its revelation?...have you...Comment like that is not helpful, blame the west game does not cover the real issue here, we all know that there are people within Islam who are committing all sorts of crimes in the name of Islam, genuine Muslims are too quite to speak out against these individuals who damaging the name of their religion. There are many Muslims in the west, what are they doing to present the true Islam? Don't blame the west, blame people who twist the teaching of your religion because its not hard to google those misguided teaching posted by some people who claimed to be speaking for Islam and not the west. |
what's that then? i agree that by the definition we might not be racist, but your argument is that basically we're not racist, because we don't have anyone to be racist too. racist comments have been made on this thread and loads of people have co-signed them.
Of course Nigerians are racist to other race i.e the west/Europeans, not only in this thread have they openly expressed it, check any other thread to has to do with the West or Europeans and see some nasty hateful comments, but the same Nigerians will be quick to point finger at 'oyibo' people for hating blacks. You can't have it both ways, so yes if you want to list the names of racist countries then Nigeria has to be in that list. |
g2db2do: Alhamdulillahi, afta waiting patiently for 25 working days, picked up my student visa today. Justwise nd d rest, really appreciate u guysReally good news, congratulations!! |
adyby: I respect your opinion bro. The issue to me is that Islam is a religion of knowledge. Even reading and understanding of the qur'an and that is why we have what we call 'Tafsir ul qur'an' which includes:I totally understand the picture you just painted, but you just have to understand that there are people who will refused to learn and preferred taking the opposite view, religiously speaking...you do not give up on that person neither will you force your view on that person, your behaviors towards that person 'might' change his stand on certain things. You can only maintain what is right in the eyes of the God you worship and leave the rest for him. |
justaqad: Salam AlaykumI think the problem is in the interpretation of Quran by some Muslim leaders, the problem is not just with Islam, Christians have the same problem as well, the religious leaders do not help the matter either, they are misleading followers who take seriously every word that comes out of their month. Its hard to unlearned something you have been taught from a young age from pastors/imam, the chain of misleading/hateful preaching grows from generation to generation. |
