i just got admission to d university of Leeds, nd my CAS just arrived few days back, but the 28 day countdown will mature by august 24th., now, my question is this, if i apply by august 25th, will be able to get my visa before September 10th?( cos this is when d skul is meant to resume.
urgent reply please.....

While you wait for the money to mature ask your school for 2wks extension, if they reply attach the email to your visa application so that the ECO will not think that its too late for you to catch up.

Or arent you aware that messages on social sites like 'yea aunty! i'm coming over to america and when i come i'm never going to leave and i'm going to get a job...' and your aunty replies 'lols...okay. safe journey at your student visa interview ' And then youre at the interview and the VO asks you what are your plans after study and you start reeling off your already-prepared answer 'to work as the best professional in my country, specialists are lacking...' and quickly at the same time checks your fb acc and sees your last posts... he then looks up and smiles at you ...of course you know the next statement that follows...

Dapto: @Justwise and Donxavier,I love u guys for your apt responses.Now let's look at this scenarios: Am hoping to get a full sponsorship from this int'l company,which will means they either make the whole tuiton payment and writes to the embassy that they will responsible for the maintenace fund.Of course their name would have been on the CAS as the depositor of the tuition already.Then,the other one is,in the event I didn't get a full sponsorship,but recieves a partial one from them eg 50% sponsorship,that will mean I will make the initial 50% tuition payment here myself,having my name as d depositor on d CAS,the letter from the sponsor stating they will be responsible for the other 50% PLUS the maintenance fund.the last scenarios here is,even if I get a full sponsorship,but the company decides to make d initial 50% first and issues a letter to letter to d ECO that they will be responsible for the remainder PLUS d maintenance,will this suffice?
Lastly,To which address should d sponsor direct their letter.

On many occasions, I have invited her to come to Nigeria but she has declined the offer mainly because of her job but instead she keep insisting that I come to England. At the moment am an IT Technician and I own a registered company here in Nigeria that is working for another south african company. I have a little above 1million naira in my own personal account. The money was deposited as a lump sum around 2010. Money still enters the account but in little amount and not consistency like a monthly salary. I am going to stay in her apartment during the time of my visit and will definitely be coming to Nigeria before my visa expires. Its really clear there, if you use a letter from your sponsor to obtain the admission then your school should include it in your CAS that you are being sponsored by a financial sponsor, in that letter should contain the following......


• the student’s name;
• the name and contact details of the official financial sponsor;
• the date of the letter;
• the length of the sponsorship; and
• the amount of money the sponsor is giving to the student or a statement that
the student’s official financial sponsor will cover all of his/her fees and living
costs

You can submit the same letter during visa application because its contained in your CAS.

173.......A Tier 4 sponsor can include details of Official Financial Sponsorship that they are giving

Your naija boys in the street of UK can only give him fake visa stamp and will only make his case even worst.

Why the '-' sign in the closing balance? That will cast doubt over that bank statement.

As long as the stain did not cover any vital info then you got nothing to worry about.

How long has it expired? Anyway you can only renew it back in your home country, no other way around it and if you over stayed more than 28days then you will face almost an impossible task to extend it or get visa again to the UK.

That is not a good idea, is either you have the whole money or you don't. If LEDGER-2.4M appears on the bank statement you will be submitting to the embassy then its a red flag.

Take a cab, which is about 18-20mins journey from the airport, it will not cost you more than £20-40 depending on the time of the day, rush hr and late night is always expensive.

In terms of where to buy things. . simply ask the hotel receptionist or the security guard at the hotel, they know those area more and will direct you.

Since you are staying for a month, get vodafone or 02 BB package which will cost you about £5, using your glo will cost you more

The issue of finance will be a trick one and can end your interview in a bad note, one thing to bear in mind is that. . . . your brother/sister/uncle/aunt/friend can NOT sponsor you.

When you are asked who your sponsor is. . . is either you are sponsoring yourself or your parents or Nigerian Govt/International organisation. Any answer outside that will. . . God knows.

Does the stain covers any info on the passport?

Yes its a good idea to print out your TOEFL score, as long as the print-out contains all the vital info then you will be fine.
