Seriously?
You re funny oh
At this stage Dubai is? You are comparing Dubai stamp with south Africa stamp on passport.

Abeg my guy, pack your luaguages and go and get Dubai stamp on your passport.
My friend got Italy tourist visa with the help of only Dubai stamp
He is right, SA stamp is better than that of Dubai, SA visa condition is harder compared to Dubai. Anybody can apply and get Dubai visa but that is not the case with SA

Good day everyone i have a problem about Turkish Visa with a Man. i have nurtured the dream of travelling Abroad for a while though i tried several times and it dint workout.trust our Naija agents i lost some Money though, but this one is different. This Mans Wife is my neighour at the shop though he has been in South Korea for some years and returned to Nigeria on September 2019. I was close to the family cause i usually help them to fix phones. so by November i approached the Man to help me secure a Visa so he said he will inquire, and get back to me.after a month he told me that he has contacted someone and was told that the available countries are Qatar,Turkey and Kuwait. so i asked him to help me choose, cause i consider him a friend and experienced in travel issues. so he told me that Turkey is great and that the price is #1million i pleaded for reduction that the Money is much but he insisted that the agent said that there is no reduction and even gave me the Agents number though i called and he told me that nothing will be reduced that its the last price. so i accepted it with a good heart and contacted a friend of mine who resides in Turkey, explained everything to him and he said its ok.On December 31st 2019 i went to the Mans house and gave him my passport and the deposit of #200,000.On the 31st of January 2020 i received a call from him that the Visa has been granted. so that was when i started running around for the balance of 800k which i dont have but the issue started heating up when i could no longer have my peace again as he kept bombarding me with calls and warning about the Visa expiration of which is 29 days for the Validation and 15 days stay(SPORTS VISA) so i started avoiding him cause i was really perturbed on how to raise that Money and other things within a short period of time. At the end of 18days all i could raise was 400k so i went to see my brother and explained everything to him because he was never aware, so he called the Man and asked to see him. they discussed and agreed that he will collect the 400k and release the passport to me and an agreement was made on how the balance will be paid to him. so i transferred the 400k to an account number that he provided.(RUSH OVERSEAS ENTERPRISES 0593809018 FCMB) he told us to come back the following day for the passport that the People who own the account(AGENTS) needs to confirm the Money. so the following day we went to his wifes shop to see him only to discover that the person whom i spoke with on the phone as agent was his Brother in-law, there we were told again that an additional 50k needs to be paid again contrary to our first agreement. my brother accepted to pay and we left later that evening he made the transfer of 50K to them again thereby making it the sum of 650k they delayed us again for another 2days and finally he said that we are going to sign an agreement with a collateral. he involved a barrister and my brother presented his land Documents. The next day he said that i should prepare that am going to lagos with a Man who is going to collect the passport from the agents in lagos and that i will pay the Man the sum of 30k i refused and asked for the address of the agents in Abuja since i dont want to depart from lagos but they insisted with some flimsy excuses that the Man will surety me when we get to the agents in lagos. so my brother payed the Man (Pastor Emmanuel Omeokwe) and we departed to lagos from owerri on 25 Feb with hope that i will be leaving Nigeria the following day. when we got to lagos we went to a hotel near the airport at Ajao estate i logged while he hurried to the agents office as promised to bring the passport so i waited but he called that he will not join me that night as traffic was locked that night. The following day being 26 he called to tell me that that the agents refused to release the Passport with reason that it remains only 3 days that i will be sent back if should i travel with it. That i will go back to the east and wait for one week for the visa renewal. i became troubled and asked for his location so that i could atleast see my passport cause all i had was the one that was snapped and sent to me via whatsapp but he refused and ended the call on me. i called my brother and he told me to be patient and give them one week. that same day i went to MMIA to confirm if the Authenticity of the Visa cause it has dawned on me that this is no longer a friendly assistance as i presume. on getting to the Airport i was told that the People to verify the Turkey Visa will be around by 5PM but i could not wait cause i dont have anyone to stay with in lagos and also short of cash to continue staying at the hotel but an immigration officer looked at the passport and told me that there is something fishy about the Visa. his points is that every Turkey Visa has O.M.No but mine dont have it. secondly that mine was not properly printed as compared to other Turkish Visas presently at the Airport. its past one week now and i have not heard any positive thing from them. the worst is that they all have stopped taking my calls and only once picked my brothers and told him to give them extra one week. am really depressed and confused right now with so many funny things going on in my mind. i have texted them not to prepare any Visa again for me as the one week has passed and some of the foodstuffs i bought for the travel has spoilt. PLS ADVICE ME ON WHAT TO DO CAUSE AM LOOSING PATIENCE AND HAVE BEEN INDOORS SINCE 27TH OF FEB. I WILL ATTACH MY VISA HERE AND THE OTHER ONES THE OFFICER USED IN SHOWING ME THE DIFFERENCE. ##mine is the first one##

Pls you people should advice us cause me am only 15days away from travelling to Turkey.Visa is ready at the price of 1mill though I have only paid200k pls advice us....cause I enquired from two people one is telling me that the place is good while the other is telling me that it's only G that's available there...am really confused if I should pay the balance and venture out or should I abandon the Visa and passport for them and look for a better country. Pls those experienced in this should clear us. Asap

you can say whatever you like. Like I said the Visa has expired since 29 read my write-up well. And don't insult my Brother he was only trying to help. How could he have known that the Visa is not Authentic. You are talking as if you are all knowing. Have you never made a mistake of trusting someone before. This is just the reason some people don't like Posting their problems on nairaland cause people like you will cause more damage than good. If I should go to the Man's house and give him the right angle now you will still call me names, now am here trying to know the what next and you are bashing me.pls Mr all knowing let me be before you push me into worst situation.

Yes I know it all which is why I will not be naive enough to pay close to one million for a fake visa.

Suddenly you discover travel section after getting scammed .

Now you know how to run your mouth but failed to do simple search before paying thousands for worthless paper

I made a mistake yes thats true, but i took the Man as a friend since i help the wife with some issues on his behalf even before meeting him in person. i acted on trust but never knew he was Mean. even the wife no longer picks my calls, she now feigns angry. that i want to put assunder between in their families. but the issue is that the Police is not our Friend. i doubt if one can ever get justice from them.
You and your brother should not have access to money because you don’t know what to do with it . 1m for Turkish visa ? Even a year old babe should know better.

You deserve a long time ban from entering any country with that useless paper you called visa

I will only leave this thread as a lesson to others else I will remove it.

Nobody should be this dump in 2020

Good day please is any one studying in university of Portsmouth what’s accommodation over there like the school dormitory is pretty expensive I would appreciate any info thanks
Houses outside university area are a lot cheaper, areas from train station down to the stadium are cheaper. Portsmouth university has free bus ride for students so even if you live 20-30 mins away from uni you can still get a bus to school free. Look for house outside area called commercial road

Please I got an invitation already and I want to process visa, is there anything like visa assurance and if so, an agent is telling me documentation 150k and assurance 540k, is that not too much, please I need advice
This is an extortion and many Nigerians are encouraging it.

How can any reasonable Nigerian give half a million plus in bribe just to get a visa to Ukraine? Even if its UK, US or Canadian visa nobody should be naive enough to waste such money.

This is just shameful.

Good afternoon,

Please, I would like to know how to prove my English proficiency, I have been given a conditional Offer of Admission at University of Exeter with merit scholarship of 5,000 pounds. I have submitted my WAEC result along with my application.

Students are adviced to submit evidence of their English language test result before they can issue an unconditional offer.

The deadline for tuition deposit is March 12, 2020. While I wait for decisions from other universities, do you think I will be able to retain the offer if deposit is not paid by the deadline?

@ justwise, and others in the house, I need you advise.
Thanks.
No you will not be able to retain the admission if you failed to meet the condition before the deadline

Yeah, 2 years multiple entry. Owner started using it 2018 and also stayed 6 months last year (left in Nov.)
The visa will expire June this year. Can the person still use it before it does?

Yes but i'm not sure that he/she will be able to renew that visa without a very convincing reason for staying 6 months in the UK

Hi guys! It’s really been a long time. Trying to settle down here and the weather. Still hunting for a job. I pray I get one soon as I’m starting to get tired. I have lost count of the number of rejection mails I got but thank God I’ve attended some interviews now. Still waiting for response while submitting more applications. Any suggestions or tips on how to land a good job or even get any job to keep my busy will be appreciated.
Please I need to renew my passport as it will expire in few months. But I also want my new surname on it. How do I go about this? And also will I have to change the name on my brp to match the new name on the passport? Thank you all for your help.
@justwise @fatima04 @Lexusgs430 @bourne007
This is not a problem.. use your new surname when completing the application form and .go with your marriage certificate then your new passport will reflect that.

How do you mean by changing the name on your brp to match the new name on the passport?

@Justwise, I chose Standard when paying for my application fee. When I was directed to TLS web, I chose Tls Ikeja for submission of supporting documents. When trying to book an appointment for biometrics, I chose APPOINTMENT ASSISTED SERVICE-Regular. I skipped UKVI Services because I don't want priority. When I clicked on Book appointment, between today and 20th of March, there was no Assisted Regular and Assisted Self Service(the time is written as 09:30 without an arrow pointing upward).

So Premium Lounge Only(an highlighted 9:30 and other available time with an arrow pointing upward) was chosen by me.

Did I make a mistake?

Is Premium lounge only not available at Tls Ikeja?

Regular with available upgrade to Premium(9:30 without highlighted background but with an arrow pointing upward) is available from 25th March upward. Is this what I supposed to choose because I chose Appointment Assisted Service-Regular for submission of supporting document.

Looking forward to hearing from you soonest. Thanks.
Last year I helped my neighbor with this application and it went well without any of this appointment issues though the husband did his biometric at Victoria inlan, it was standard application too.

I really hope that someone with recent experience of this will help
