Come on mate....
You were the one who impregnated her ohh...
You want your son to grow up one day and learn that he grew up with a single mother because his father divorced his mum because she was pregnant and vomiting and disliking smells?
Sometimes going separate ways is better for the child, she can't work and earn money but still refused to contribute to the house.

If sgtponzihater1 stops paying rent and bills both of them will suffer it. What is she doing with her money?

You only need 5% for help to buy. You do not have to pay back in 5 years however if you don't, the govt starts charging you interest. Also the govt owns a percentage of the property (loan)they lent you (usually 20%). So if you sell the property, that percentage goes back to govt. If the value of the property appreciates, the government owns a share of that until you pay up.
Yes that is true but you also pay less to the govt if the house price goes down.

Hello everyone.
My wife just lost her job and earnestly looking for a new one. She earned way above the minimum £18600 required for spousal settlement filing before she lost her job yesterday. I am on a salary of 2.75 million naira per annum here in Nigeria. Do we have to wait for her to be on a "new" job for six months before we can file or can we go ahead and use my salary.

Thank you for your responses.
Does she have up to £16000 in savings?

Please teach us property business now cry I don’t even understand what all these grammar you and Lexus are exchanging mean.

Freehold, leasehold. My husband knows IOM (it’s weird how the govt would allow this).

How do I avoid buying a cheap house that maybe leaseheld?
If you want good property on a cheap then go for Share Ownership or Help To Buy, Share ownership deposit is just 5% and 10% for Help To Buy.

With Help To Buy the govt will gives you 20% loan to be paid back after 5yrs though you need to have Help To Buy ISA account,( Help To Buy ISA will be closing by the end of this month)

They are good investment..has a larger target market, single people, housing benefits, students and you pay less in council tax

Indeed.... But still a property in the UK, a lover of geriatrics might decide to buy this type of property and reside within or a young blood might have retirement plans.....
When a property price is that ridiculously cheap then alarm bell goes off.. £519 a month on service charge alone, council tax, mortgage and bills not included and this is just one bedroom apartment. It has no resalable value.

Negative equity at its best.......

If buying a property, avoid leaseholds (like hot boiling water is been poured through your throat) & NEVER accept interest only mortgages (like your NOF is been deliberately fractured with a hammer).......... grin
The problem with this property is the service charge and ground charge which is ridiculously high, higher than monthly mortgage.

Another problem is the fact that the targeted market is limited, only retired people can buy or single but over the age of 55.

I doubt that the passenger isn't aware of this because the first thing that happens is that the passenger must have been placed in the holding area and asked to sign a holding form pending when his or her entry status is cleared.

So what happens is that, once you've been previously refused a visa but issued one later on, and as a first timer, your name is flagged on arrival and its up to the border force officer to either query the flag to find out more or ignore it before clearing the passenger.

Based on the clearance, the border force officer will invariably file that the visa refusal be expunge to ensure the passenger don't face such issues in the future. Except maybe the passenger wasn't listening properly.

In any case, what's the issue? Did it affect the passenger's recent application?
Why?

This story is strange, can you explain exactly what happened? Erase previous refusal or what basis?

In my own case the money for maintenance and the balance for the tuition is 9300+4,300k. Which is already saved in a separate account since on the 30th of October(last month)

Initial deposit of 5,000k will be paid next week from a separate account.

Do you mean the 28days will start counting from the day I make the payment of the initial deposit or when I have the maintenance and balance of the tuition fees ?

We need more contributions from the gurus in the house.
No your 28days counting that started on Oct 30th still stated even after paying the 5,000K.

How I understand it using figures let say maintenance is 10k and school fees is 10k... I need to show that in 28 days I have 20k either fully in my bank account or a part of it has been paid to the school

So if day 1 , I have 20k and day 18 it becomes 15k because I paid the school 5k that is fine. On day 28 I am good to go .....as long as during that 28 days 20k was either with me or the school .

If for example Nov 1st, I have 10k for my maintance only and my brother pays the school fees on Nov 16th... then my first day of 28 starts counting not Nov 1st when I had only maintance but starts counting Nov 16th when I can show 20k is either with me or a part has been paid to the school

No your 28days counting is still from Nov 1st because that 10K is all you need to show since school fees has been paid

How long does it take to prepare the CAS?
It depends on how quick you met their condition, it can take as little as a week, some schools can issue it quicker than a week.

I'm back here to share my experience and to thank forum members for their views on different cases.

After careful consideration of how my wife will join me in the UK, we decided to go down the route of spouse visa with all the information gathered within this forum. My wife was granted the spouse visa on Wed, 13th Nov.

Take away
- Put yourself in ECO's position and carefully analyze the application, don't be biased in your judgment
- Do extensive research on each of the requirements for the application
- Write a very clear and concise cover letter explaining your situation (Both sponsor and applicant)
- Make sure you do not leave any gap, ECO is probably looking for a loophole in your application

I do not know what actually worked for us but what I do know is that we put in all our efforts, considering the fact that my wife has previously been refused a visit visa on four different occasions.

Nonetheless, the most important is to rely on Almighty Allah having perfected your homework.

With God All Things Are Possible!
Congratulations!!

Kindly assist with this Sir.

Please is it the sponsor that will submit the application ?with the form filled and all?

what does the applicant take along when going for biometrics ?

I already sent him copies of ielts, etc
Sorry for late reply.

Your sponsor will submit the application online and make all the payments then book the appointment for you to attend, he will print out the application form and email it to you to take along for the appointment, the applicant will go with passport and appointment booking confirmation slip

bro but sometimes those rankings are not true reflections of the best schools in UK because most Universities do manipulate their ways to the top bends. Just saying based on discussion I had with a tutor in one of the Universities, contrary opinions to this is allowed.
I rather not believe that, if universities can successfully manipulate the ranking then you would have seen a significant shift in ranking by many universities. Ranking points comes in many ways..including feedback from graduates from that university, published research, facilities, profile of lecturers/professors, number of graduates from each university that was able to get a graduate job..etc

I was just coming to write this. PSW does not automatically guarantee anyone a job. It’s all based on luck and experience.

I finished my degree this summer and I got two job offers from two big 4 firms. This was only within the space of 4 months that was left on my visa after graduation. One rescinded their offer because they couldn’t sponsor my visa - stupid HR thought the quota system applied to me but it didn’t cause I was switching from Tier 4.
The other one came back to me with a start date and arrangements to start making my tier 2 application but I was already out of the country.

Even with the PSW, some companies/firms will still be reluctant in employing a candidate that would require sponsorship.

Experience, networking, making connections and applying for a thousands jobs a day will get you somewhere than banking on PSW but obviously with the PSW, you’ve got more time to send in applications.
Fact! But many will see this as a discouragement or call me emery of progress.

Trust me, you guys are doing a very great job here. You guys wont know it until you meet of those who have benefited from your ideas. Surely, you will have millions of hugs to go home with
You remember me? let me remind you . I came on Nairaland to look for a way to right the wrongs i made during my previous UK application ( Using names not mine and things). Shortly after i made that post, i decided to flex my muscles a bit.
Gbam! i applied for a schengen visa, gbos! i was refused (my spines almost left body).
Gbam again! i quicky reapplied,Gbos again! i was refused( i started getting dehydrated during sleep).
Damn,I have 4 expired schengen visas and Two US visas what could be happening? I found my way back to Nairaland france visa section but the section is not very detailed like the UK section. I came back here and started reading.
After reading for days ,i compared my previous applications to my recent applications and guess what i found out. The hotel i have been using in my recent applications for a 6 days vacation is about 1,500$ whilst the hotel i used in my previous application costs just 350$. I smiled and said God bless the UK visa section.
Gbam! I reapplied last week Monday, reduced my hotel cost, used turkish airline reservation ( it does not reflect amount to be paid) and i got my visa yesterday.
U guys saved my face o.
Meanwhile oga @justwise and madam @giselle237 abeg make una still reason my matter,i dont want to completely miss out on visiting the UK.
You can try the UK after your trip.

Congratulations.
