But I have a question. The validity of my stay on the attached letter states 30th October 2019- 30th July 2022. That's 2yrs9months. I thought it should be 2yrs5months?

I would like anyone here who is familiar with this website (www.canadianvisaexpert.com) and it's procedures to please provide answers.

I have signed up with the website for close to 4years but I never completed the first stage which is the assessment because of the fees they were asking for (price ranges between $5 - $40.
The website has always been consistent in sending me reminders all this while so about 2days ago I decided to give it a shot. Luckily for me when I opened the site they were charging (1,800)funny enough this time it was written in naira.
So I made the payment and completed the form.
In the summary of the application it stated that my application was successful and they would get back to me via email or phone call .
Also they mentioned that it would take about 75days .

Now the thing is ; today, Sunday I received a call from a number (+151)at 5:24pm from a woman claiming to be calling from the agency .
She said I hadn't given details of my monthly income of which she asked for in Maura and also asked if I had immigration savings which I responded.. "I didnt".
Then she said I needed to have at !easy 200k in my account and I said ok but before I could ask further questions she hung up.

Now, I decided to ask one two people and they pinpointed out somethings.
1. Why they would call on a sunday?.....though I haven't bothered to check the time difference between Nigeria and Canada but the call came in 5:24pm

2. About me having money in my account.In the form I filled I didn't fill in my bank details anywhere minus the payment I made which was with my mastercard.


Pls is there anyone familiar with the website?...are they legit? And what are their procedures...

Thanks boss, I can get the letter from the HR department, but I haven't received the letter from the UK company inviting us. Please do you know how much the speed track process costs for a short 6 months visa, as I will have to wait till they send it before processing my application but the timeline is short.

Do you know how much it cost and how long it takes to get the visa?

I need your advice, my company wants to sponsor my visit for a conference in London next month, they will pay for the accommodation, feeding and travel expenses, my question is, I cannot be given the company statement of account as it is classical information, how can I show they are going to sponsor the trip?

In that case you need to submit a letter from your company and the company hosting the conference in the UK which has to contain details of the conference.

Letter from your company has to state how the conference is related to the company and the work you do for the company.

You have to submit your employment letter, payslips and salary account

I currently have a valid South Africa Study permit Visa on my passport for PhD in public health but all my family members are against it because of the obvious reason of what's happening there now.
So now I am about to pay my deposit fee and get my CAS hope the sticker on my passport wouldn't raise any eyebrows because what I am going for I UK is MSc in Public health.

Then you have nothing to worry about regarding those refusals, concentrate on meeting the student visa requirements and disclose those refusals as you stated before

If you are given a non-negotiable figure as cost of studying in the UK , do you have to come back to ask if that amount is enough to study in the UK?

Thank U, yes I read through but I am yet to understand full the CAS and how it works, the money in account for a month, is it in my regular account here or and account domiciled in the U.K. also the maintenance fee of 1thousand plus, will it be for a period of nine months? Will I have to pay in the account or it can be in sponsor’s account? Can a sister or in-law serve as sponsor?

1. CAS is the admission letter, the university will issue it to you when you meet all the admission requirements.

2. Your Nigerian regular bank account in your name or your mum/daddy's name

3. Period of 9 months and it has to be in your account your mum/daddy's name

Good morning everyone
Applied for UK settlement visa last year and got denied, I did appeal the decision and I won the appeal and I even have the vignette visa stuff now.
The issue now is; The email I got notifying me about the appeal content stated that if I require a TB certificate for travel, I should ensure it's valid and up to date.
The TB test result I did has expired already.
Can I travel with the expired TB certificate or I must get a new one before travelling?

Yes as masters student you are allowed to bring your dependent...wife and children though that involves a lot of money.

Start by searching for school you offers the course you want to study.

The bank statement I submitted to my university before I was issued with a CAS was from August to 10th of this month. My appointment is next week and I was wondering if I should go with a more recent bank statement?

I called my school and they said I don’t need to provide a more recent statement as the one I sent them is fine.

Should I stick with my old statement or should I include more recent ones?

The money has been in my account since August so I’m covered on the 28 days rule.

You can go with recent one, it will not harm your application

I have started the online application, paid the health surcharge fee, but have not paid the visa fee and submitted finally. I want to wait till the financial evidence reaches more than 28 days, before finally submitting, because as i saw in previous pages in this thread, The financial evidence must be in the account for at least 28 days before online application is done. Now that i have paid just the IHS surcharge doesnt it mean that I have submitted the application? Or do i have to paid the visa fee before its deemed submitted. I am considering cancelling the application, but will have to wait 60 days to get my IHS back, thats 778 dollars. It will be too hard for me.

Your application is not completed until you pay for visa fees, book appointment and submit.

The ECO acknowledged your cover letter but feels that you did not submit enough supporting evidence to explain the source of those fund.

You were also refused because your budgeted expenditure is well over 3months of your disposable income
