Ikenna072: Wow!.. So I can't use the 6months visa to enter UK again? You can enter the UK again but not in that short period of time after leaving the UK in just 1 or 2 weeks then planning to stay for a month or longer. Don't you have a job or business in Nigeria? |
Travel › Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by justwise(mod): 2:06pm On Nov 08, 2019 |
Ikenna072: Thanks a million times. I really appreciate. If I come back to Nigeria after two weeks, can I still travel again like after spending a week or thereabout in Nigeria? If Yes, can I stay a month or two this time? That is likely going to get your visa revoked at the point of entry. |

Ikenna072: Thanks a lot for your quick response. The problem is that she doesn't want to come to Nigeria. Let me just say she's scared of the recent things happening in Nigeria. I have gotten my 6months visa already.
My question is this, can I wed her over there to get my stay? No you can't |

God bless you bro, he would run the accounts for 6 months and apply around April next year by God's grace. I appreciate. That is ok, let him move his profit to his personal account monthly and leave main capital for the business in his business account and keep evidence of purchases and sales receipts. Thanks for your kind words. |

Gbemzow: Good evening house, Thanks for the Great help you are rendering through this platform, I have personally gained a lot on this platform, Thank you so much @ Justwise and others. God bless you all. Please I helped my 24 year old nephew package his U.k visa application with all the necessary documents as discussed on this platform, but to my surprise his application was refused and what baffles me most is the reason for refusal. My nephew is a self employed, he sells school uniforms and has a good customer base and a very good bank statement, he submitted his bank statement with a closing balance of 1.2m and he was to spend 550k since my sister invited him for two weeks. The reason for refusal is that his company is not registered, and that he didn't submit a company bank statement but a personal savings account statement. We backed up all the monies in the account with invoices of the transactions. My nephew has gone to register his company now and open a company bank account, My question is when can he re-apply? Please house we need and urgent response. Thank you so much Let him run that account for at least for 6months before making another application. Those refusals reasons are correct, using company's account for non-business trip is not a good idea |

blank: Not really. It would just be reported as part of the bank's AML responsibilities. Depending on other flags, they could leave it or investigate. Same as N2m transfers in Nigeria. It's not a definite money laundering but MAY be investigated. The chances of that happening is high, the same way they treat it at the airport even if you declare it, so to avoid all that you send less that £10K. |

Justwise Less than £10K in one transaction, anything £10K and above will be regarded as money laundering |

B1ak3: you really don't need to be petty. if you do not know what a pounds domiciliary account is then you don't need to say anything.
Clearly, if he is talking about sending money from Nigeria then it is obviously a Nigerian bank. It is terrible that somehow you have made yourself an "assistant moderator" that believe you have to answer every question and must agree with the moderator.
Moderators are supposed to moderate and not become a "know it all". Imagine if the moderator of the politics section ignores their role and start acting like it's their opinion or nothing else.
Just because people have a contrary opinion to yours that shouldn't warrant such childish behaviour.
That is very rich coming from people who are so intolerant of alternative view, i have every right to have my opinion just like you do moderator or not. Its very strange that many of you get irritated when facts are stated but you rely on 2-3rd person's experience to argue. You can't read someone's post and when you manged to read you misconstrued it. Can you point out one helpful contribution you have made here since you joined? You are quick to insult those who have being helping out here for years for free. |

You guys are wrong and sound ignorant sometimes.
You dont know it all. Both of you should accept your mistakes before I come into the arguement.
And if I come, I dont want to ridicule all your hardwork in this forum.
Respect yourself, and change the subject. Accept your mistakes. No you need to respect yourself and overlook my post if it nothing to do with you. What wrong do I need to accept? Do I have to post to please people like you and tell you what you want to hear? Who cares if it hurts you or not . |

LaaJiblik: People keep shouting hoarse about a 2-year post study visa (as a means of migration). Have we bothered to ask those that went to the REPUBLIC OF IRELAND about their experiences? How many of them have ‘automatically’ got employment after the 2-years? That visa is a dead-end. you can't renew it and very few people got permanent employment with it, many jjcs here calming to know jack about the UK are just day-dreaming. Imagine spending close to £100K then you realized that you can't get that ILR? |

LagosismyHome: A lot of BSC are allowed to take one gap year of working (placement) , hence they graduate in 4 years which is perfectly ok.
My little cousin has been here since A-level, done 3 years of A-levels instead of 2 (because she changed course mid way) , She then went on the do BSC accounting for 4 years (placement year) . Meaning 3 years left . If she does a does a masters now and then post study 2 years , i think she is good to go for ILR Degree in the UK is 3yrs as a standard, yes with work placement its 4. Not all degrees includes work placement. The same with masters. How long did your cousin stay in the UK before starting A level? |

Tobexin: mr justwise I think you are wrong on this bro! You don’t seems to understand this guys from their perspectives. Let me break it down.
Tier 4
BSC 4 years
Masters 2 years
I become a dependent of my wife which doing her masters for 2 years
I opt in for PhD 4 years
How many years is that? 12 years!
The uk immigration websites say as long you have lived in UK for 10years legitimately! With this I have leaved more than 10 years in UK hence I am entitled to ILR.
Cc justwise Bsc in the U.K. is 3yrs and masters is one year, I don't know where you got 4yrs Bsc and 2yrs masters from. |

LaaJiblik: You mean you will now become a dependant to another tier-4 or tier-2 visa holder? How will you ‘become’ you mean by marriage? Or legal adoption? Of course that will not because if the wife wants to apply for PhD they will calculate the number of years she has spent under tier 4 visa already ( her dependant visa is held through the husband is under tier 4). |
