sirRiddy: What I find amazing is some a**holes sounding like this is a premium paid service where they pay per month to have their queries answered. Some can be very ill-mannered and entitled and the best is to ignore them. You can smell desperation and laziness from several miles. It is very tough here with little reward for a lot of work. If you have MMM kind of mentality, e no go tey wey you go frustrate and join the 'America is hard and overrated' gang.
How can someone be discussing breaking the law so blatantly and be defending that stance? Crazy guys everywhere. Wish 2017 peeps the best as offers come in and travel plans are arranged too. sirRiddy: LOL I would not advise anyone against using agent cos you can have someone to bi.tch at any time your mumu query is not replied after a minute. Pay 200k and get recommendations to apply to school one thief has on a txt file on his laptop. People with Warren Buffett kinda dream and Trump kind of mouth cannot even do simple query search...LOL This thread is the best that can happen to us in Naija. If all you can contribute is mum query and nonsense attitude, you can as well go to hell. Who hacked your account? |

I would like to let you know that posts such as yours are the reason why Nigerian applicants get denied a lot. Also, don't be so sure that your identity is truly hidden -- it wouldn't be too difficult to infer who you are. I would be surprised if VO interns are not monitoring this thread to figure out what new tricks Nigerian applicants have up their sleeves. Posts like yours will keep the rejection rate for Nigerian applicants very high. @Justwise, is there a way to do something about posts of this nature? It is really bad for the thread's integrity, and also bad for Nairaland. Thanks for calling my attention to it, post removed and the ID banned. This thread should not be used to solicit for fraudulent activities |

Bobxin: Thanks for the reply,
*the letter has no specific address for the hospital.
*I wasn't addressed by name as I included my names while applying*
*$6,500 is way too much for a SECURITY GAURD*
*Most of the information requested are already in my International Passport*
These are my observations.
but if there's no harm in sending those information, do you think I should play? What do y'all think? Ok, i actually forget that USA is part of UAE and as a security guard you can also work as a medical doctor.
So you need to act quick and send those details to them, there is no harm in sending them money as well even before they ask for it. smh |

ayla1: The rate at which the Nigerian officers at the airport beg is becoming very disturbing......they were all requesting tips life & direct! I have never experienced such level of 'beggy beggy' before since all my trips to the UK.
Will you believe one officer was so pained that she dey use style curse herself and not me This was what happened ooo: She saw like 100 pounds in my bag ( not knowing even me had to beg my brov and aunty before the thing reach ), she insisted I give her out of it, that some people even give them more than that. As I refused, she said in yoruba " Ti e ba fe pade alaanu, e drop nkan funmi ooo ( If you wan meet helper, drop sth for me ooo). I said haba....wetin i do you na? After all the drama, she said on top of her voice, '' Check that your money is complete ooo, before you will come back saying your money is missing!!! '' And I said thank you. Lol
Chai......Buhari, this recession must stop oooo. Abeg! you made my morning. Though on a serious note..this is not new, 2yrs ago when i visited Nigeria one immigration officer begged me for money while i was leaving Nigeria i told him that i have no cash left and he wrote his number and name at the back of my boarding pass for me to send him 'something' when i get to the UK. They go open with their begging now |

DeeTus: Please Justwise, I do not want to talk to you anymore. You seemed too rude and is totally uncalled for. I never for once encourage laziness here. Don't quote me out of context. That dude is very hard-working. I specifically asked him to anoint his documents due to the fact that there was need to, which he did and got his visa. I have never asked anyone on this thread to do so before. God sometimes does His miracles through someone. He does not come down from Heaven. I am not God but those who know me face-to-face take my words so seriously at times. God gave everyone of us gift.
If you really don't want me here, it's much better you say it. I don't own you anything. You ought to be happy folks are here helping out. If they decide to boycott this forum, you will surely feel it because you are paid on here.
Please be a gentle man and understand we don't live our lives on Nairaland. There are so many people who got their visas without Nairaland. You actually believed that i get paid here? So you think by posting here you are doing justwise a favour? How about this..stop posting in this thread and drop your bank details i will redirect my monthly salaries from nairaland to your account starting from this month. |

DeeTus: It's okay, brother. I am not normal but have contributed so vastly to your thread.
Lets just stop it here. Before you joined or starting posting here 2yrs ago many have gotten their visas without taking their passport to be anointed by a pastor, encouraging visa applicants to do that is basically encouraging laziness and false hope without doing the basic things required. This is one the reasons why Nigeria is screwed up, nobody wants to work hard and do the right thing to be successful rather some run from one church to another looking for fantom miracle from self-made men of God |

papi7: the thing is, you can't predict what may happen
in my case, when i got my visa, i was asked if i was pregnant and i said no bcoz i wasn't.
i was suppose to travel on holiday but i decided not to till i was pregnant and i had no issues at POF.
I used my VISA again with my baby, when i got to the POE all they asked me was my hospital n doc receipts which i provided.
i got my visa renewed with no hassle
One can't predict what might happen we can only hope for a better outcome. This is not the same case with the person you advised. You weren't pregnant when you attended the interview so there is no point saying yes to that question, but the op was pregnant and did not declare it. |

Travel › Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 5 by justwise(mod): 4:03pm On Jan 12, 2017 |
papi7: Its two ways. The fact that they didn't ask you if you were preggy that is a plus but they may think you wanted to go have your baby in the U.S that was why you guys went for the VISA application. But at this point, write a letter if intent about your situation and they will reply. You can send me a personal email and i will forward the response they sent me to you so, you see how it looks like.( i wrote a letter of intent too ) Before traveling, make sure u contact a doctor and hospital and print out the correspondent and most of all, travel along with money to show them you are capable of paying the hospital and doctor bills. I hope this helps. Cheers. x No its not a plus because they alway ask you during the interview what you are going to US to do and many give answers like..vacation. see family bla bla bla. That is an opportunity to declare your true intention of applying for that visa, they don't have to ask you specifically about child birth. Letter of change of intention is not a short cut here and it has been abused far too many times. Why do we always remember to use the visa for child birth AFTER getting the visa? |

Havefaith222: I'm happy I found this very informative thread. I have a very peculiar case and I would love to seek advice from those who are experienced in this regard. I have a similar case with a particular poster(can't remember her name now). I had my first pregnancy in 2014 but lost it at 27weeks when water just broke @ night. Three months after the loss I found out I was pregnant again and registered with a government hospital immediately so the pregnancy can be monitored, unfortunately at 25 weeks an incompetent cervix was diagnosed, had d baby at 26weeks and my baby lived for five days and passed on. I got pregnant again 5months later but this time around I had a cerclage placed at 14weeks at Island Maternity, unfortunately at 27 weeks water broke again and I lost the baby again.Immediately this happened I knew I cannot afford to continue this, this happened in Oct 2016, and till date no one has any explanation as to why it happened again even though I suspect it was as a result of infections from the cerclage. Immediately after the loss we got advised to process visas to go over to the US to have the next baby. Now the issue I have now is hubby and I applied for B1/B2 visas which we got since I am not pregnant yet we were not asked if we would use the visas for any other purpose asides vacation so we did not see any need explaining in details. Our intention(out of ignorance) was to use d visas for childbirth immediately I take in again. Please how do we go about it now? Would it be advisable to just go as we planned since I ws not pregnant when we got the visa? Or would I have to go on vacation first before I get pregnant again? So sorry for the long post. Thank u This is not a serious case but it will become one if you mismanaged it. You are not pregnant when you applied for the visa..no problem, so use the visa for the vacation as planned. You can use the same visa to return to US for child birth later. |
