societalMision: because i still they go marry my real wife for naijaNow we know where your money went, you spent your money on sham marriage and now you are broke and lying about paying £100,000 on fees alone. Girls in Nigeria are not 'lose'? Dreamer. |
societalMision: depending on individual life style if you live with parents you may not spend much but living alone as an international student haba do the maths yourselfOh please stop lying, spending £10,000 a yr on a expenses alone? And you can only ave £200 doing cleaning job? |
societalMision: hahaha lol drop out people dat deceive NigeriansThat is just you, you lied about paying £10,000 for diploma course in a college, lied about paying the whole 3yrs degree school fees at once and only God knows how you managed to get resident paper within 3yrs because you are not even sure about it. |
societalMision: so make i come tell you say i marry or i no marry for forum! Why are you ashamed of saying that you got married to somebody? What is the big deal about it? |
Brainrex: hahaha funny posts hereHe tells alot of lies |
societalMision: shut up there!!!! as an international student you can change status when you have more than six month visa. The only way you can change status that quick is through marriage, no other way, only if you have been sold forged resident permit stamp. |
societalMision: sooooooooooo they are DECEIT then take it or leave itYou have only managed to tell a lot of pokies here, paying £80,000 to £100,000 for 3yrs degree and getting resident permit within 3yrs indeed. Some Nigerians know how to tell lies and exaggerate issues. |
societalMision: i've paid off all my fees before acquiring residency because it takes one to be home student when you have permanent stay so i don't want to jeopardise with my education that's why i made payment! Yes you can work and study but they never promised you a job, many foreign students work and study and some do get a job after studying but its not guaranteed. You are just beating about here, tell me this...how did you get a resident permit after 3yrs in the UK as a foreign student? |
societalMision: i've paid off all my fees before acquiring residency because it takes one to be home student when you have permanent stay so i don't want to jeopardise with my education that's why i made payment!societalMision we both know that this story doesn't add up, i assumed that you come in 2008, did your a yr diplomat and start your degree in 2009, so you should have graduated by 2011 or at least this yr but you haven't. As far as i know, in the UK you pay your school fees semester by system or year by year, you are not asked to pay 3yrs school fees at once. |
societalMision: you are not sure it has bin expensive since 2008 when the name changed originally to THE MANCHESTER COLLEGE so you pay £8- £10.000 for the course what about living exp, besides google the college it's got about 17 campuses when i was there!I'm sorry i don't believe that you paid £8000 to £10,000 a yrs for a diploma course and 4yrs later the school fees still remain the same. |
societalMision: you are not sure it has bin expensive since 2008 when the name changed originally to THE MANCHESTER COLLEGE so you pay £8- £10.000 for the course what about living exp, besides google the college it's got about 17 campuses when i was there!Which particular Manchester College? Are you suggesting that you spent £10,000 a yr in living exp? |
societalMision: (tuition fees and living exp) had a national diploma @ The Manchester college which cost £20,000 a yearForgive me for saying this but i think you are exaggerating issues here, £20,000 a year for diplomat course in a college? HND course not even diploma in Manchester College this year is between £7,000-£10,000 and i'm sure that 4yrs ago it was less than that. Four yrs ago maintenance money was not a requirement, so i don't know how you come up with £20,000 figure. The system is not a rip off because we all knew the cost before coming to study in the UK, nobody was promised a job as part of admission. And if you have permanent resident paper as you claimed then you should be paying much much less in school fees then other foreign students. The UK govt does not own us a job, Nigerian govt does, we should be blaming our system and govt. |
babsademola: Thanks for your reply.... I want to apply for 3months visa to attend 6weeks filmmaking course with the NYFA (PARIS BRANCH). Please kindly let me know what steps to take.....Open another thread for this, don't derail this thread. |
societalMision: dont't tell me after paying HARD currency of £80,000 to £100.000 to graduate is not a good university and not able to get job!dont't tell me after paying HARD currency of £80,000 to £100.000 to graduate is not a good university and not able to get job! even most of the citizen here can't afford it!Which university are you paying £80.000 to £100.000 for 3 or 4yrs degree? |
societalMision: i've acquired permanent residency about a year ago nothing changes, i was able to save £200 after 8 month of deep cleaning job just immediately i came in this country then had to engage myself in that odd job because there was no job in england,How is that possible within 4yrs as a foreign student? Only if its through marriage. I can understand the feeling, many people are feeling the same but i don't think you were promised a job plus admission before you left Nigeria. You haven't even graduated and you complaining about not getting a job? |
societalMision: I apologise for my ramblingGetting a job in the UK thesedays got little or nothing to do with how much you paid in school fees, graduating from the 'good' university is not even good enough in most cases. If you don't have full-right to work in the UK your chances of landing a job is more than halved, a Nigerian i know just got a job, she did not graduate from the best ranked university but she has full-right to work, the job was not even advertised, just through network of friends. |
@Samally, if you want to start this privaite chat business then I will lock this thread as it serves no purpose any more. |
swisstourist: am from m Europe. iI just tell youthe truth. Are you not the same person begging people to pay you $20 so as to play visa lottery on their behalf? |
Last time i did a passport everything was legit, spend about the amount quoted above and took about same time too. No man know man just normal process applying online and visiting the office when called. It appears your wife is indisposed, or not used to following normal protocol. That's Naija for us, corruption has so messed up our minds we always look for short cuts when there is no need to.
A++++++ 100 likes |
newmusic: @alutacontinua,alutacontinua that link will answer your question about processing time, though it depends on the Caribbean island you are applying from, Jamaican takes longer than Nigeria |
alutacontinua: @justwise, i'm a nigerian but i'm not in the carribean rite now. D issue is dt would i be issued a student visa because i'm going to be doing the clinicals in the hospital, not in a school. Also, can i process the visa from here?It does take annoying time in Nigeria, i don't know about Caribbean but i guess it will take less time there, if you have a strong tie in Caribbean then apply from there. |
mercylicious: What type of visa do u think he shld apply for?Definitely student visa, processing time defers country to country, i don't think the op is a Nigerian. |
@ Dudurex It will be fair if you keep the discussion open here so that others will benefit, if everybody takes it offline then nobody will get help or have something to read. I also think that beau4lyf has given you more than enough info |
alutacontinua: almost 2 yrsThen you will be given a visa that will cover the duration of your course |
alutacontinua: Pls, i need your advice. I'm a medical student in the carribean but want to do my clinicals in canada. My school is a canadian school (the head office is located in canada) but people say i can't because i would not get a visa dt wld last me for dt long (about 2 years). Most people just prefer to do their clinicals here in the carribean or go to the US (the school has affiliations with hospitals in the US). But, i'm considering going to canada instead of US (due to difficulties of getting visa). Most people say i can only do my electives (8 months) in canada. In summary, can i get a 2 year stay in canada for my clinicals? Thanks in advance. What will be the duration of your course in Canada? |
iluminati: THIS TREAD IS TURNING TO SOMETHING ELSE. In past times, this forum use to be educative and strictly for canada study and visas but now it has become den of criminals where u catch theifs and lots of useless aguement. It's high time the administrators of this tread deleted their acct to avaoid people being scared. Pls lets grow up and face why we are here. Those that did not have TRV should also stop claiming it.Is not as easy as you think, you don't delete people's account without any hard evidence that they are questionable characters. Its difficult to know who is real until you start reading their posts and its almost impossible for me to read all the posts in travel section. We all need to work together here, we should not turn blind eyes when somebody is trying to mislead or engaged in dubious activities here, all you need to do is to use the 'report link' to report that post then i will check it out, US visa thread members does that all the time. |
imperiouxx: Justwise, help with this post please. Thanks a lot. |
@Abmoney I have received 7 to 8 emails from you since you were exposed here, no more emails from you else i will block every email coming from you. Say whatever you have to say openly here. |
