I think the US Govt has clarified that dual citizens and green card holders, are not affected, will post a legitimate source for the link.

But where is the outrage for the 16 O.I.C members that have permanently banned Jews from ever visiting their countries? ( http://www.israellycool.com/2017/01/29/trumps-muslim-ban-exposes-leftist-bds-hypocrisy/ )

This is a temporary ban for just 90 days i.e. 3 months, to allow for the development of a much better vetting system.

Donald Trump has always stated this, as one of his goals when he was campaigning.

Most likely, there will be compromises made for dual citizens, green card holders etc.

progress69:
Lol this only exposes the hypocrisy of American politicians the more. But there is actually a difference between restrictions in waiver visa programs and an outright ban which definitely will affect dual citizens and Citizens with a greed card.

A little research and you will find that the title of your post is misleading. Click on the following link, mind you this man is not pro-trump and is a liberal, left-wing person. Enjoy.

What do you expect when the voters keep selling themselves cheap! If you knew that to win elections was just a matter of sharing 5000 naira and a bag of rice, why will you care, next election you do the same thing.

Nigerians are funny, you want development without making sacrifices, you want a better life without making sure you vote for the right person.

1. No.
2. No. But be mindful of cunning CBP's who would try to get you to admit, to coming prior just to scout hospitals, stick to the "I came only for a conference" line of reasoning.
3. Oh yes they do. Carry cash and also carry money on your cards.
4. Have safe delivery and a safe trip.

Orestik:
Hello house, happy new year. I posted sometime ago in December that I had a tourist visa but later changed my mind to use it for birthing. I was advised on this platform to either go for the vacation and workshop i intended to use it for first or take the risk of writing a change of intent and pray to God that I am not sent back. Eventually, i registered for another conference in January and I traveled to NY for the purpose of attending the conference/ short vacation. I spent 3 weeks and i'm back. So here are my questions;

1. Do I still need to write an intent letter to the US embassy here?
2. I am due in second week in March, hope its not too soon if i travel back second week in February cos i left NY January 18.
3. Do they really confirm how much you have on your card at the POE? so i can prepare myself.

Thank you.

Christianity EtcRe: Those Attacking Me Now Kept Quiet When El-rufai Tweeted Hate Speech - Suleiman by KaptainAfrika: 6:28pm On Jan 26, 2017
Apostle Suleiman, it is okay. You said what you said, in anger. You are human. Ask God for forgiveness for what you said.

That aside, I believe the point you are making now, is the point you should have made before i.e. there is a difference between self-defense and revenge, and that victims of these attacks should defend themselves. I see no contradiction in defending yourself and your family and Christ's command to love those who hate us, and forgive those who trespass against us. I am all for self-defence especially as the government is failing in its duties of law and order, and if in the course of self-defence the government arrests Christians for defending themselves, we will know for sure then, who is on who's side.

Let us as Christians, never forget, that our true enemy is the devil (Ephesians 6:12). He whispers into the ear of one and into the ear of another, and seats back and watches as brothers and neighbours shed blood, all because we are all made in God's image and he hates God.

It is not easy to be like Jesus Christ in this wicked world, everything exists just to get you to muddle your Christian testimony, when faced with trials and tribulations let us always remember the promise of Christ (Matthew 28:20 and 1 John 4:4 and John 16:33). Christian brethren, do not repay evil with evil, even as you defend yourself and your families, do so with the sole intent of preventing harm coming to them. #SHALOM
TravelRe: USA Visit Visa Part 2 by KaptainAfrika: 9:46am On Jan 26, 2017
There's a visa that's given for a period of 3 months only. And its usually for government officials. Do you know the classification of the visa you referred to in your post?

DMeanMan:
So I heard a new one Today (actually it was yesterday).

A friend of mine, the CTO of a IT Based firm here in Nigeria was supposed to go for some meeting in San Francisco and unsurprisingly, his visa application was rejected.

I kid you not that the guy is still traveling as planned, since his company has now signed an MOU with the US (I don't know if it's the Consulate or the Embassy).

He was ridiculously the only one that attended the meeting that will see him and anyone from his firm given safe passage to the US without a formal visa Interview.

I don't know if anyone in the house knows about this practice or has experienced something similar.

Thanks to the house for the Immense help I got to secure my visa to attend a Summit in the US. My question is this....my summit in in California from the 5-10 of March. I intend to go through Newyork to sight see few places and also make bookings from 20th Feb-20March. After the summit I'd return to NYC to return home.

Please can I do this..?
TravelRe: USA Visit Visa Part 2 by KaptainAfrika: 12:49pm On Jan 25, 2017
1. You want to relocate to the USA, but you want to attend the wedding of your cousin...the CBP will ask you for your cousin's invitation card and confirm this info.

2. You just lost your job, recently...no ties to bring you back to Nigeria

3. You were refused on January 14 but you are reapplying on January 25...11 days later?...VO will probably think you are desperate

4. Just be honest. You might be lucky.

This is my opinion.

I am giving your brother the benefit of the doubt.

When he gets to the POE. He will need to convince the CBP, that circumstances beyond his control, made it impossible for him to attend the conference. If his story fails to convince the CBP, your brother may be deported and banned from the US for 5 years or permanently.

Does you brother have proof of conference registration payments, payments for hotel in Georgia, USA, did he book flights to Georgia, USA?...having any of these documents, can show that he actually intended on going for the conference.

Do not send any email. Change of intent is for those who have used their visa, for the purpose that they have gotten it, anyway its basically worthless but that's my opinion.
All the best.

You may be called for an interview, if you wish to renew your visa via dropbox. Be honest during that interview, and all will be well, hopefully. Keep all your receipts and a letter of non-indebtedness. My opinion.

FabioRomani:
My wife and I were issued a b1/b2 visa in May 2016. However my wife discovered that she was some weeks pregnant (about 2 or 3 weeks, not too sure) after the visa had been issued. She honestly didn't know she was pregnant during the interview because she was asked if she was pregnant and she said no.

We travelled to the U.S for vacation in October last year which was the original reason why we applied for the visa. We later decided to have our baby in the U.S since we can afford it.

While at the port of entry, she was asked about her EDD by the CBP officer. She told the officer the truth that her EDD is in February this year, and that she did not know she was pregnant during the visa interview.

If you do the calculation, you will discover that it's exactly 9 months from when the visa was issued. If she had known she was pregnant, she would have disclosed it during the visa interview because we know that V.Os usually find out when people are lieing.

However, while at the POE, the CBP officer said that she lied during her interview because her expected delivery date is in february hence she was already pregnant during the interview. He was so mean and used so many harsh words. He kept saying that she lied. She was later taken to the immigration unit for some further questioning and eventually they allowed her to enter the U.S.

I am unhappy because the CBP officer said she lied; it's not everyone that tell lies.

But we are worried that this incident may affect her while renewing her visa, because he kept saying that she lied

Please advice if it can affect her visa renewal, because she honestly didn't know she was pregnant during the interview.

Please I need urgent response.

Regards.

Not all defensive wars are just, really? that's like saying there are times, when defending yourself against attack, is unjust. I approached the "just war theory" from the angle of defending one's self, from unprovoked attack the examples, i have in mind, in recent history are: the Arab-Israeli conflict of 1948, 1967 and 1973; US response to Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbour in 1941; UK and France declaring war on Germany for invading Poland in 1939.
I am not restricting myself to the traditional definitions of the "just war theory".

Ubenedictus:
I asked u if u know d principles of a just war. let me enumerate them.
"1. the damage inflicted by the
aggressor on the nation or community of nations must be lasting, grave, and certain;
2. all other means of putting an end to it must have been shown to be impractical or ineffective;
3. there must be serious prospects
of success;
4. the use of arms must not produce evils and disorders graver than the evil to be eliminated. The
power of modern means of destruction weighs very heavily in
evaluating this condition".

be careful when u appeal to the just war theory. not all defensive wars are just.

Don't take it personal, no need: just share your transcript to help others, ask your questions, get answers and that's all. We won't be in this situation if our country was in a much better state; even as we hustle for visa, let's do so with some dignity. Let's not descend into trading barbs because of US Visa. Some of them, demean us already, lets not do that to ourselves mbok, let peace reign here.

3. You just simply played a script in your head and assume you're the CBP or the 'white man'
At least one of the above has to be true for you to write in a disparaging manner.

1. Okay, I might be wrong about Peter being the first pope. That aside, can you point out to me, where the promise of wealth is used to evangelise to sinners in the bible. Thanks.

2. It is true, that God has given us different talents and inspired approaches, in bringing glory to His name and drawing men away from the kingdom of darkness, to the kingdom of light. But show me anywhere in the bible, where we are suppose to rely on the power of the flesh and the desire of carnal men for materialistic things, instead of the power of the Holy Spirit in drawing men to Christ. (1 Corinthians 3:6)

3. Why did Jesus ask the young, rich ruler to sell all his goods and follow him? Why did Jesus emphasise on seeking first the kingdom of God? (Matt. 6:33) (Mark 10:17-27).

4. I believe that using a limo to evangelise, sends the wrong signal, which is, give your life to Christ and this limo could be yours one day and my friend, that is not the gospel. (Matthew 28:16-20)

5. I might be wrong and maybe that's what God told them to do, we are all in God's army and we want what brings glory to our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Themandator:
This fallacy of Peter being the first pope should stop. If it is not in the Bible it is falsehood. It is religion.
If the gold and silver and all the riches of the earth are of God then I see no reason why the pastor should limit himself to your taste or idea of God and how best to serve him.

No one person is called to preach the Bible for it is too complex ....every one ,is called for a specific purpose out of the Bible. If you don't like his style maybe chosen is your type or deeper life.
