2. He slapped your wife. (This is contestible, cos there is no witness)

So out of 3 events, 2 are factual and 1 is contestible.
Now the only 2 factual events (1 and 3) shows that your wife was the aggressor, and most importantly your wife was the first person to "push" the guy.

This is not a matter to handle without wisdom, that guy knows everything about you.
