GAZZUZZ:
In December 2017, I sold a toyota corrola 2003 to a nairalander.

I suggested he insures car comprehensively before Use.

he took my advice, he insured with Axamansard on the 28th of December 2017.

On the 22nd of January 2018 car was involved in an accident, and the driver using his vehicle was at fault.

Axamansard swung into action, taking responsibility for both cars.

The repair quote for his car costs over 100,000 to fix, while the quote for repair of the other car is over 900,000.

it is wise to have comprehensive insurance, it gives you peace of mind.

insure your vehicle comprehensively today.

Cc axamansard.

Wait o, 900K to replace this lens and fix the scratch?! shocked

You were hit, which Means you are not liable for the accident but the third-party, since you are comprehensively insured, you are covered, but the excess clause still applies, which means you will bear a particular portion of the loss repairs, when you buy vehicle insurance without excess buyback, you are alternatively telling the insurance that when a loss occurs you both will contribute to fixing the car.
So next time transfer full liability to the insurance by buying excess and be rest assured you are contributing no dime to treat a loss.

My account manager told me that the repair quote was lower than bla bla bla, so they were not paying nothing.

I went for her throat because I called her from the scene and she told me to get a note from offender accepting liability and pic of ID and walk away. I could not swallow the U turn, and she had to pay! No be apology I go chop.

Funny enough, offender was willing to repair!

Am curious about the insurance having to take care of the bills of the other car. Kindly explain this never heard about this. Sound whole strange

That is what they call third party - damage to others' property. Same applies when you hit a pedestrian and cause injury or death. Your insurers can pay up to N10,000,000.

If you have comprehensive cover and hit someone, just call them, exchange contacts with the third party and walk away cool

Yes it's third party, Axamansard can be responsible cos the corolla was at fault. But why can't the owner of the other car just let go as I wanna believe the car is comprehensively insured as well.... i.e both cars should be should fixed by their insurance companies respectively.

You were hit from behind and Axamansard was telling stories of excess buyback, really!!! Maybe it wasn't in the plan u subscribed for, that doesn't mean they won't fix ur car, u just have to pay a certain percentage of the quote.

You will be surprised most Nigerians don't insure their cars. I have seen RR owners without insurance. If you are hit by a reckless driver, your insurance company goes after his insurers if he has one. They don't like to spend.

I have comprehensive insurance, and Axa told me stories about repair quote being lower than some nonsense which I still don't understand. I flipped and threatened to pull out, so my account manager had to do something. Imagine giving me cock and bull poo at my very first claim after seven years! angry angry

I now pay for excess buyback - whatever it means!

Nice one, but how about the other car, isn't it comprehensively insured as well? Why is axamansard taking responsibility? Just curious

That is third party. The Corolla owner is responsible for the repair.

I have been hit from behind before, and Axamansard told me stories about excess buy back. angry

Hi, I have a problem with my honda city 2008 model. Who is familiar with this model?

It moves and accelerates perfectly but when I try to accelerate past some speed, about gear 4 i think, it makes some humming noise when I march the gas and mever picks. If i remove my leg the noise stops. Our mechanic is saying it’s gearbox. Is it gearbox?

The vehicle is 4 cylinders and 8 plugs, also uses CVT automatic transmission. Thanks gurus

Yes it is gearbox. But CVTs don't actually have ranges so you may not know exactly where this disengagement occurs.

Oga you can give me an e-slap and I will thank you for it

I forgot to mention these two symptoms below

The D light blinks just as the issue happens most of the time (blinks as gear disengages)

And when I’m on speed and slowing down the gear sort of ‘jerks’ while it downshifts only into gear 1

My transmission fluid was a little bit over gauged (by half an inch at most) when it was changed over a year and a half ago but it had been driving okay before now. It’s still that way because I’m scared of anyone tampering with that fluid

These symptoms started only 2 wwwks ago but now it’s getting worse as it occurs more frequently now

I hope this helps

cc kashif, gazzuzz

My gut feeling tells me whatever is causing this is external to your gear. Did you carry out any repair prior to this problem? Are there rodent dung in your engine bay?

Please help me diagnose this my recent gearbox issue

The gear works okay but whenever I get to a bumpy/bad wobbly stretch of road and the car goes through it my gear disengages and if I depress the throttle the engine only revs until I restart the car and it all works fine again but when I hit the next patch of bad road the same issue arises again

Please what might be causing this problem? I feel it’s a component not properly put in place/loose but I don’t know where to start looking and there’s no mechanic with a scan tool around me here in Kebbi. It’s a 2004 accord i4

I need someone to point me in a direction so I can take the car to someone to help me check those areas closely. Thanks

NB. Please if someone posts a solution and you have another view be good enough to also chip in. I need help from all angles as this is making me be afraid of bad roads, speed bumps and portholes because my gear will misbehave instead of because my ball joints might give way

This needs a scanner, and I don't have the faintest idea how it works in Kebbi. Start by physically checking around the gearbox for any lose cable/connector.

You read that our Lord Jesus Christ turned water into wine. Have you read that He warn us about hellfire in Matthew 5:22 Now my question is who created hellfire and for who

Who made good and bad? Remember God said choose good. If there was no bad, we wouldn't have known good. Bible says that alcohol is a mocker, which means its bad, and says that peculiar people like priests and kings shouldn't take it. And the Bible says that Jesus Christ our Lord has made us priests and kings. If there was no alcoholic drink, there wouldn't have being non alcoholic drink, if there was no bad there wouldn't have being good. God says choose good if you wish to make heaven.

Heaven is not so cheap as pastors say these days, Heaven is for those who sacrificed a lot, including taking alcohol, while they were on earth.

Finally, remember that the Israelites in the Bible asked God for meat, they eat the meat and died. They asked Jesus for wine, though no one can say for sure that the wine was alcoholic, but even if it was, God can do all things and no one can ask him why. I wonder where their souls are now. Many would always quote Paul telling Timothy to drink a little wine for his often infirmity. Paul never said strong drink, but wine and wine can be alcoholic or not. I know that red wine whether alcoholic or not is good for our body system, why not choose non alcoholic. Besides, you can't deceive God, HE knows when you taken anything for health sake and when you take it for pleasure. If you want to save ur soul from hellfire, steer clear from alcohol dear.

Oga park well biko! Stop advertising your spiritual short-sightedness.

While i'm driving i notice dat after when i come to the hill the gear will not automatically reduce until I kick down pleas can some one hell me.

You need to have your car checked by a competent tech. Don't start with changing the oil. He needs to see what the computer is commanding first.
