@Toks, there is no need feeling bad. All calls here come with a caveat so anybody who trades it does so at his own risk. If I tell peeps to go long on GBPUSD as I type this, should I be held accountable for attendant loss that may follow? No!

Let me drop one advice for traders: Only trade when you feel stupid not taking that trade; not when you need to convince yourself, read blogs or look for somebody's confirmation.

Warning: If you don't have a means of livelihood, dont look at forex! You need to have a means of funding your account because account blow-outs must come. It is your resolve not to give up that keeps you going. After you have stabilised (may take years for many), then you can make it your primary income stream.

@honeric01, do you have a documented forex trading plan? If you do, trade it; if you don't, that should be your professional trading starting point. I was thinking it does not matter if one does not have it but brother, it is sine qua non! From what I know about you, sometimes, you are inclined to try getting back at the market. Nobody ever beats his chest doing this even mid-term.

You have paid your dues in this business; it is time to relax and be consistent. If it means taking some time off (3 months is not too much) then do it! If you look back at the losses picked in the recent past, am sure you would have been better off had you stayed off. Just my 50kobo.

Bollinger vs ncpat on EURAUD: Bollinger has a much better logic/reason backing his analysis, which is price action! I am not saying ncpat is illogical but price is what drives indicators. Ignore S/R to your peril!

I have been waiting to see EA get to 1.2540 but it did/has not. Will wait some more.....to see if it pulls up a little more at least.....

drnoel: U get it all wrong. Ojukwu is the first son for sure but he was not the onlz son. He has been sitting on their fathers properties all those years and the brothers did not complain or mazbe there where but out of respect for him they kept silent. It was terrible. I drove to the island to do some shopping with the hope of pulling some money off the ATM but what did I see? Customers standing here and there. I could not believe I wasted my time and scarce petrol for nothing. I was at their HO, so you can imagine the helplessness! Cashless Naija!

My Toyota has "over-drive off" button on the auto-tansmission lever, and this engages engine braking when on high speed. It is a cool feature to use when going down a slope, and you dont want to risk over-heating your brake systems.

This comes handy with brake failure in auto (if your car has it). For manual, it is much easier - keep down-shifting until you can stop.

The most important reason for having your AC turned off is to save your radiator fan(s). I have lost a couple of blades some time ago.

If your thermostat is not connected however, turning off the AC wont prevent this. You will have to either disconnect the fan(s) before you 'swim', or have the thermostat reconnected.

Brokers don't move prices. All they can do is to increase spread. If you think you have been scammed, confirm from other price feeds. You don't use SL? Wonder how many years you've been trading.

There are many times you miss entries. For me, once I miss, I wait. You are right, GJ was heading for 300pips (was thinking you said some made it to 300pips).

There is always another day. Zero gain is better than loss

honeric01: Hmmm, seems you are the type that waits for a huge fall or rise, is that what you are looking for? well sorry we are in a ranging market and if you looked closely, you'd see that some pairs even fell close to 300 pips today.

I wait for specific setups, not necessarily big moves. If the setup shows up, and the R:R is good, I take it. Meanwhile, no pair did a 300pip move yesterday (remember you agree we are in a ranging market?)

trading is at boring peak lately.

I don't know if mine was as bad as yours, but replacing the alternator/AC power belt stopped it. It is a pity you don't get technical assistance here anymore. Everybody is selling cars.

Brothers, I have a 2000 model Toyota Camry, and the brakes have not been efficient.

When you start out, the brakes seem to be a little more efficient but during hard driving and hard braking, you will notice that the pedal starts getting a little stiff, with very reduced efficiency. Even when the brakes are at its top, it takes hard pedalling to get a good decelaration/stop. Normal brakes should not require such effort once the power booster is working properly.

Early last year, I had the front brake pads and disks (rotors) changed, and got very little improvement. Later, I asked the mechanic to replace the rear brake linings. All these did not give me the desired result, as I still need to press hard on the pedal to stop the car! With five adults in the car, you must maintain safe braking distance.

January this year, I felt it could be coming from the power booster (my mechanic thinks there is nothing wrong with the brakes), so I asked him to replace it. He did, and nothing changed! Disappointing and at the same time, confusing! Then one day while I was driving, the pedal went flat! I tapped it twice and it came back but I became worried. I drove it like that that day and before evening, it 'normalised' I suspected there could be foreign body in the brake system so I asked him to flush the system. He did, and the brake started working exactly as it should!

The sad part? It started declining after five days I don't know what to do again. Is there anybody with an idea as to what could be causing this please. Could it be that the hydraulic boils?

Today, USD pairs misbehaved across board. I can see most people pitching their tents with GU and EU sell; please be careful. EU gave me a blow this afternoon o! We all need to get over what we call recency bias. Unfortunately, this will continue to haunt not very experienced traders. GU and EU have the potential of edging upwards more. It is anybody's game!

Frankly, study of candles - shooting star, hanging man, morning star etc work better in stock. You dont have to believe me anyways

Concept:
Supposing forex has a licence I would have told you to let the authority revoke my own if your expectation on GBPCHF is met. If you sell, I am not saying here that there will not be pips but there is a saying not the quantity of trade but the quality of trade. No way you can compare 1000pips with 80pips. GBPCHF should be an order entered with trailing stop & forget it for a while because the trend up is just building up. Nolly04 is seeing resistance on daily, I am seeing support there.

You can still have your trading license pal. The only way I could see support at that point was turning my computer screen upside down. There is no point trying to act as if one dictates to the market.

Concept:
It is unfortunate that forex will always be like this zig zag. [b]I am still on long with my normal small lot [/b]I only fire the cylinder real hard if my position is established in profit. Bull still has a say this is not everlasting sell, the aspect of it that made me down is that I got my timing wrong. Goodluck bros my trainer told me to die with my system strategy.
