Please I am applying for a study permit for the second time and as part of generating my document checklist, I was asked if I had done a medical check up with an IRCC doctor for the last 12 months and I clicked on yes because in my last application I did an upfront medical.

Now I was asked to submit a proof of medical exam as part of the document that I need to submit in my new application.

My question is, was I suppose to click “no”
When asked that question or should I am to use my initial medical exam or I would need to do a new medical before submitting my application.

Please your response will be appreciated. Thanks.

What of slip of the medical you initially? Is it expired? If not, then upload it again. But if it has expired, then you didn't fill it right cos it said within the last 12 months and not just if you had done it before.

Which form didn't you fill? You will not be able to submit if your don't upload required sections. So how did you bypass that without uploading the required form.

I believe this ban won't last for long. As time goes on, and after they must have studied the new variant, they will likely go ahead with their January 15 mandate that all must be vaccinated before entering. This time, even if you're fully vaccinated, you will still need to do COVID test at POE

Welcome onboard. Now you will receive BIL after 24hrs of submission. Sometimes it takes longer oo. So I advise, when your get your BIL, you follow the link to get appointment for your Biometrics.

My brothers and sisters, I know the news of ban really hit hard after all preparations as regards traveling to resume class for Jan start date. Now due to that, we are making frantic efforts to see how we can go about it, please while doing so, just relax small and have an inner discussion with yourself. Don't make hesty decision. This ban was just to curtail the inflow to allow them study it and assertain if the already formulated vaccines will cushion it. I believe if it does, the ban will be lifted but with notice that all must be fully vaccinated.

So please let's all relax ok. For those going for refund if your flight is still way deep in Dec, you may need to chill small as I think updates will start trickling in with time. France I heard is reviewing theirs and I read from unconfirmed source that they are lifting the ban on South Africans countries that were initially banned. So I see light at the end of the tunnel as Dec counts down.

Woow. That's an important form to fill. You Must fill it oo. Please go ahead and do ok.

Once you upload all necessary and required fields, button will appear down, scroll down and click that. It will take you were you will need to pay. Both Biometrics (CAD$85) and application fee(CAD150) will be added to make it up CAD$235.

Note we have limit of US$100 limit by CBN. But so far, only Gtbank have increased theirs to US$200. So if you can't pay by yourself, please let your relation you so trust so much help you pay for your application to avoid had I know charge back in the future. Again, if you have a Dom account, then you can use it to pay for it conveniently

From the look of things, the only concern of the VO is sufficiency[/b[b]] and availability of the funds shown in the SOA. Now we all know we are suppose show funds that will take care of one year tuition, living expenses and other (flights and miscellaneous). In addition to that, we also need to show how we intend to take care of the subsequent years if is a two year upward course.

Now sponsored by your brother, are you a mature student? Is your brother married with family that will likely depend on the same money shown as your POF for his family upkeep. If is not, how did he prove to the VO that the money is solely for your studies and his family has other means of taking care of themselves. From your own part, did you show any money no matter how small it is?

So in summary, VO is thinking the money you submitted can't cover your the entire duration of stay in Canada without working. Of which what if your don't find work, how then do you complete your studies.

Noo. But I think if VFS should close, then processing of applications will reduce and take longer owning to the closure of VFS offices but will not stop. Indians felt the slow processing of applications during Delta variants as their VFS offices were closed. Just hope it won't get to this point ooo abeg.

My wife just got to Canada Early this morning .As a travel Consultant she changed her ticket to Monday Morning (Nigerian Time) to Arrive early Hours of Tuesday Morning (7:45am) via Ethiopian Airline. we where ready for the worst as fully vaccinated she might be forced to quarantine ...etc
But her POE was smooth no much questions asked probably because there was crowd and about to switch shifts, infact she had a long lay over for her connecting flight to her end destination before we heard about the ban...
She was just lucky......

During the era of Delta variants, indians felt it as flights from there was prohibited. Every month, CA reviewed and placed new date of ban. What indians did was to go through neighbouring countries. Ironically, when they get to POE, they were allowed in. Now it may likely be our turn, hope African factor won't come into play and they will start turning everybody back if they come from neighbouring country. My greatest concern is hope it won't in turn affect processing time of applications? Indians felt the heat as most vfs office closed and this led to delays in application processing.

Yes only few helps to inquire from IRCC about applicants application status when you write to them for help from outside their riding (constituents). Some, even when you're in Canada but not in their constituents, they will tell you that they can't interfer as is not within their riding.

Nevertheless, we have good ones who go extra miles to get updates from IRCC on the applicants behalf and later share with applicants as we have witnessed here.

But If you're already residing within their constituents and write to them for help, sharperly, they will help your.

The only page you can input your name electronically is the last page ( if I'm not mistaken). For the rest pages, just put the date and that's all.

Ghost update cant tell when a decision can be made. But after I received my last ghost update, I didn't receive any other for more than a month. But the moment my eligibility review started, 24hrs later, I got BVL (which means that maybe all the reviews have been done behind the scene). Now another wait started till 15days later, I got a call from the IRCC Lagos office after I have worried their ancestors with mail and webform.

Hello,

Showing tax clearance isn't compulsory bit necessary on the other hand. If you can secure it, please do, but if you can't, try other ways to prove the genuine existence of the company or job. If it is buying and selling, you can use your waybill to show tax payment as every good(s) bought from manufacturers have tax inbuilt in the waybill. That's how I proved mine.

As for sponsors, distance relative isn't a definition. How is the sponsor related to you? if family-like Aunty or uncle. Just show a family tree indicating how he or she relates to you and attach old and new pictures if anywhere you guys were together. Also, if you have old proof of his or her past financial or otherwise important help rendered, you can attach it.

Pls do you have an idea of ghost update (meaning the profile stating updated and nothing did change neither did you receive an email) while previous one was an email but nothing on it.

Ghost Update:
once an application was opened or touched by a VO, an application/profile update appears on GCkeys. Once you see it and log in, nothing changes and it goes back to application submitted. That's what is called ghost update. What that means is that a VO cleaned the back soot covering your application and will be back to it. Summarily, Ghost update means that even though it looks like nothing is going on, underground(behind the scene evaluation is going on)

During my time, I noticed 4 or so ghost update. I don't know who coined that name but that's what we came onboard to meet. So most times when an application has stayed long without any sign, we pray for a ghost update to feel that at least our application isn't forgotten.

Really? My school enrollment starts 4months before class. So why would your school take this long even though you have just a month to school resumption? Even January 2022 class was enrolled around June 2021.

Canada school application is so easy and straightforward. Thank God you already have a course and school which you want to apply. Now is the course thesis or course based? If Thesis, does it require securing a potential supervisor before application? Or as some school does, it's thesis but doesn't need one to have a supervisor before application?

So, just look at the admission requirements for the course in the school website. If you meet it's requirements, you go ahead and apply and upload the necessary documents. I so simple.

Again, note that due to high competition, most 1st class and 2.1 gets master admissions faster. It doesn't mean that 2.2 don't get masters with that, but is is harder when compared to 1st class and 2.1 that applied to save course. So, did you come out with 1st class, 2.1 or 2.2. if 2.2, your best bet should be post graduate Diploma. But it doesn't man you can't get admission with 2.2. is all about how well you package your admission.

But note that for application fee, initially, CBN placed the maximum limit to USD100, but of recent, GTB increased theirs to CAD200. So with that, applicants can comfortably pay their application fees by themselves.

So sorry about this. But truth be told, having 2 charge backs means it was intentional act by the agent(you in this regards, cos is you that IRCC knows) and he feels no remorse after all is not his application. Had it been it was a once chargeback, then I would recommend you consult a registered immigration lawyer, but for IRCC to write to you on first charge back, you paying back again only to charge back again. you leave IRCC no choice but to ban you, even if you like write all your best explanation.

In IRCC, anything can happen. if you feel you can afford to try to tackle the ban and have the money, why not? 5 years of not actualizing your dreams can be heartbreaking.
