Madam, welcome back. I still remember your funny birth story...

Pls your child is not doing anything abnormal. It's normal for children to suck their thumb to soothe themselves and it's normal that they suck their toes at a certain age. My son is about 5 months and he is doing same presently. If the bitter leaf didn't work for him, then pls leave him or introduce a soother.

How old is your baby? How often does he poo? When he does it, is it hard?

When formula is introduced, some babies stop to poo everyday, mine became every other day from 2 months to 5 months. From 5 months, he is back to pooing everyday.

The most important thing should be the consistency of his poo and if the poo is normal. Shouldn't be hard or watery.

Pls don't stop the walks, it will help you. Walk short distances, rest if you need to but pls don't stay in bed all day. It's normal for you to start contracting lightly at this stage; in one or two days, you will be full term(38 weeks) and ur angel is good to go.

Will make this very brief, 3 months ago i joined my friend at his place of work, with his help i was able to be employed there.

It all started with the manager complaining about my friend's work style and always comparing him with me, despite the fact they don't know we are close pals and we live together, this really get me worried he is not so good on computers yet they kept comparing him to me, always saying he's not fast enough, and later after some weeks the boss concluded he's withdrawing the appointment of some workers due to shortage in patronage, to my disbelieve my friend name was among the 14 workers discharged, and ever since then he not been talking to me in the house, he kept mute even when I try talking to him, now I've decided to quit the work at month end, for the sake of peace between us.

Though I have no other means yet but you know that feelings when someone you always talk to just begin to act strange and wouldn't release his anger by speaking just looking since his fired.........

Please what can I do? Should I quit the job as well?

While I understand your guilt and wanting to quit your job, it will be foolhardy to do so.

You were not directly responsible for his job loss, he could have been compared to anybody else and not you, so there is really no reason why you should beat yourself too much over it. It's okay to empathize with him, but stalling your career because of it is just plain stupeed.

Your quitting the job will not cause him to be recalled, so what would you have achieved? One additional unemployed youth in the job market due to his own stupeedity? Not worth it. It adds no value to neither you nor him.

If your friend was not so good on the job, his firing should be a wake up call to him to either improve himself on that line or he should look for another career path where he has better skills.

And again, it's okay that he doesn't want to speak with you, losing a job is so much to take in and especially when his close friend whom he helped secure a job was the "reason" for his exit, but he will snap out of it shortly. He needs your support and encouragement at this time and not your job loss!

For each of my 3 previous deliveries, I started exactly after 4 weeks. Really heavy for that matter matter. My only joy was that the excruciating menstrual pain i always experienced before my 1st pregnancy never returned. I so envy those who don't get to start for months after delivery. My mother-in-law said with all 6 deliveries her period didn't return until after she weaned the babies. And some nursed for as long as 18 months o. Lucky her.

Waoh! You've really tried ooo and I was thinking my 2 months is the earliest. God help us all.

sorry I had to laugh. The way you said farting anyhow...I couldn't help it.

It's normal for every human to fart, it's normal for nursing mothers to fart more than others as their stomach starts contracting and it's normal for a nursing mother to fart much more than others if she is taking plenty of proteinous food esp beans and eggs.

You can try reducing some of these foods for starters.

A family friend who has been ttc for 17 years, got delivered of a bouncing baby boy this day. Isnt God wonderful and unpredictable?? Indeed, this is goodnews. We pray God remember all of our friends, neighbour(s) and fellow women who are looking up to Him for this kind of surprises. Amen.
