I have two kids now 4yrs and 2yrs+. i decided to stop having children becos of financial problem and to get a job to suport my husband. he works in an oil company bt they dont pay them well.

I have been searching for a job since march and nothing has happend. now an thinking if i should just go ahead and have my children (two more) or continue searching.

Before i got maried i have always wished i woud finish having children before am 35 and now am 33. If i had
gone through with my initial plan, my third baby would be 9 months now and i will have one more and i will be done.

Am just thinking if i made a mistake.
What has changed from the bolded above? Do you or your husband now have other sources of income?

It's okay to desire 4 kids but reality should supercede wishful thinking. Why do you want to bring more kids to the world when you are still struggling to maintain the ones you already have undecided undecided

Pls focus on how to get a job or start a business albeit small to support your husband so you guys can have better lives.

End Time Teens grin grin grin

On the other hand, the idea of implementing this in the real world is insane. Imagine the horror on both of your faces when you withdraw your johnson and it’s glowing bright blue - what do you say in that situation? Most importantly, it puts all of the onus and embarrassment on the woman, because the STI-detection only works on the condom’s outer surface .
A good thing by all standards...I wish they were naija youths.

However, the bolded shows their invention is still a work in progress, the invention needs to tell correctly who is harbouring the disease, they have to make it work on the outer and "inner" surfaces of humans, whatever that means lipsrsealed

It seems you didnt understand my post.

I never absolved the man from cooking as you put it. The man is expected to do the chores whenever he is the one home & the wife is busy, sick or not home.

And i also said that wherein both spouses are home together, they should endeavour to do the chores together. It should not necessarily be 50-50 though (so that it wont seem like a competition/challenge; thus no need for any measuring tape grin)

Note that the restriction on cooking which i made mention of in my other post arises ONLY in instances whe both spouses are home & free.

However, i admit that this is not a one cap fits all thingy cos what may work for Couple A might not be same as what works for Couple B.

I did not say cooking should fall on the women only.
I know you said bulk cooking while he said and meant all cooking(I believe), just wondering why any chore should still be restricted to a particular gender if we are to accept chore equality.

However, each home is different and the couple should find out What works for them.

My hubby for instance 100% prefers I cook the soup and store in the freezer and the first person to get home makes dinner.
Exactly! Is this rocket science?

Bukatyne, I just read ur post on chore equality. I get your stand now

Hello Akaglue!

Based on the tips you gave to mdbissalla, like how much will i get on placing my 100,000 on a fixed deposit account? That is whats the interest percentage pls?
Instead of fixed deposit, you can buy treasury bills. It yields more income
FamilyRe: Gender And Chores- Issues In Relationships And Marriages by Kimoni: 11:18pm On Jun 25, 2015
limamintruth:
Well IMHO, home chores must neither be shared 'equally' nor restricted to a particular gender.

Hence, chores should be voluntarily carried out by the partner who has more free time in his/her hands & is not in anyway incapacitated by illhealth.

And even in instances where both spouses are home & not busy, its advisable that such chores be carried out together by them both(with the exception of cooking which is the wife's sole responsibility to do).
Bukatyne said something similar to this. My question is why exempt cooking? Why must cooking alone be restricted to females?

She actually cited that as the reason she is terminating our tenancy . My husband approached her and said what i told the son was wasnt bad considering the fact that i did it politely. He also made her to understand dt the son isnt d only one we've cautioned abt dt.

She asked hubby if our children are angels or what undecided That actually got me pissed. She is adamant that we should vacate d building, and to know tht she is a very enlightened woman is baffling
I am not sure she has the right to ask you to pack out if you are ready to pay your rent and have not committed any offence. Seek advice from a lawyer.

Also, tell her politely you have spent so much in renovating the house to suit your taste and you will gladly pack out only if she is ready to refund you.

You don't need to buy cow leg then. With cow leg the fun is tearing the bones yourself. I prefer that to the cow head that has just meat. With the leg, I take my time to eat one part, by the time I finish .. and more water. Gives me less calories and more space for my dessert .

Another thing you could do is tell the butcher to cut the legs very small for you. They have a machine for that. I don't buy the leg without cutting it over there.
Lol...

They butchers cut it in small pieces but don't debone. I want it boneless sad

The fun of cowleg is to let it soak in the stew before eating awwwwww heavenly taste except that the bone gets in my way
