bellong: Welcome Miss/Mrs...
You can always send me your article before final submission, will tidy the reference for you FOC. You should learn it, it is a big minus for postgraduate thesis.
I will, patience is my middle name
I actually enjoyed it. It is my type of movie, it doesn't get boring . Probably because while growing up, I had very poor skill with English, so I understood films better by more actions involving guns and swords than those movies they keep talking without raising a finger. I used to get lost with movies, hence my interest in movies that speak volume.
Wild geese Sholay etc... I could analyse the films without understanding a single word spoken in English Bellong, FOC I don't mind oooo I am starting a more detailed one currently, I will surely send it to you. But I ain't joking oo, are you serious?? |

bellong: 75 is good.. thumbs up. Thanks Meanwhile, you should read a book on research methodology (going by the lecturer's comment on your citation). I am always getting penalized for referencing oooo Always!!!! Both in the main body and bibliography I have taken it as my cross and I am ready to carry it, they should keep deducting my marks Problem is I can't be bothered with referencing when i have a good write-up. Referecing is very boring for me[/quote] Is it for a PhD? Wait for it @Coogar, I saw the raid yesterday. It is a brutal movie... will see the part 2 soon I am also wondering the kind of mind Coogar has for him to enjoy and recommend this movie |
Family › Re: Boys Night Out Discussions by Kimoni: 1:55pm On Jun 19, 2015 |
And Coogar, I saw ur comments here on Raid 1 and I made the mistake of watching it yesterday night. Big Mistake!! how can you even like that movie? Very graphic images I won't even advise my enemies to watch it. Good story line, lovely ending but boy! the killings were too graphic Hopefully, you don't own a gun else I'll be very afraid for your neigbours But I liked that confident fighter though the brothers finally killed him with a weapon, that was cheating but I loved it that way he needed to die I won't watch any movie you recommend again though |

TV01: Kimoni,
how far? Couldn't respond earlier - normally don't visit weekends. I'll try and summarise;
of the 3 topics I can only touch on NHS; 1. Inefficiencies, possibly due to size - crazy amounts paid to locums and for outsourced services 2. Bloated middle and senior management, who as well as being costly exacerbate innefficency 3. Settlements for malpractice, negligence and ridiculous payoffs 4. Politicisation - by all parties 5. Recession & cuts. 6. Health tourism - not sure, like benefit fraud - which is only 1% of the welfare bill - I feel it's probably minor and unlike benefit fraud, feel it could be easily dealt with.
TV TV01: It's not about the bro' or the ho' - it's clear the OP does not possess the requisite maturity to be involved in a full-on adult relationship. And certainly not with someone who is not wholesale commited to her and her wellbeing - who coul dat least be gentle with her as she grows.
How far? How et familia. Come, did you pass
TV TV, Coogar, Pickabeau, Chaircover Our result is out ooo and we passed. Thanks guys for your input! I owe you guys.... Ok, I'll say a prayer for you guys on Sunday. Cool? |

Sorry guys i have to hid some posts though i agreed that the attack on claremont is uncalled for.
i'm sorry but that comment is not necessary, claremont was factually stating both sides of the situation which a lot of people have failed to do here. I agree, a well balanced view. |

Celebrities › Re: Nigerians Drag Annie Idibia Into The Toke Makina Mess by Kimoni: 11:02pm On Jun 14, 2015 |
cramjones: The lesson all Nigerians should learn from this mess are:
1. There is absolutely no need talking with your spouse on social media for the whole world to see. You guys see each other, talk to yourselves directly.
2. Marriage is never a ticket to happiness, never let anyone make you feel less important if you are not married.
3. Never date someone for over a decade, you can never know all about someone. Even couples that have been married for over 2 decades still learn new things about themselves - You will know the first 3 months if this is your person or not.
4. Never trust yourself in choosing your spouse. Depend on God, depend on that still small voice. Only God knows the deepest part of a man's/woman's heart.
5. Not everyone who posts romantic adventures with their spouses on social media are happy. Most times it is a front. Don't be depressed and think your life sucks because you are not getting the type of vacations and gifts being paraded on social media.
Above all, when your relationship/marriage crashes like it did for sweet Toke, never give up. Life has its ups and downs. With persistence, focus and a heart with love, you will surely find love and happiness again, and God will certainly fix your brokenness.
Annie Idibia I detest! Her and her husband's example should never be adored by any!
I wish you well Toke. You will surely prevail...hang in there.
Shalom!
CramJones Word! I can't believe this write up came from cramjones. Maybe you should do away with politics and do something more fulfilling. Remember, we all have just one chance to serve humanity... |
Family › Re: When Is It Actually Okay To Leave A Philandering/cheating Husband? by Kimoni: 7:09pm On Jun 14, 2015 |
Only you know when it's time to leave...it's a personal decision
Our threshold levels are different and we all got married for different reasons
When your mind is made up to leave, nobody can convince you not to leave
When you were set to marry that man, could anybody have convinced you otherwise? Hence the same way nobody can convince you to stay back when you know deep down, you can't take it anymore |

Pls face other important things in life, make yourself happy in other ways, forget about love and it will come knocking so hard |

babyosisi: Gbam! I had some brother and sis inlaw that were angry at each other and some not speaking to others ,my husband tried to settle them and immediately the others got angry with him ,it was now him and one of his siblings on one side, three others on the other side,I knew the full gist and nobody heard pim from my mouth. I observed one that refused to hug my hubby at an event,if you see how I hugged her eh CHineke nna I even took her into my bedroom to chat privately and give her the gifts I got her even if his sister calls him a goat,it's not my fight ,it will pass. I was running around smiling, serving everybody fried meat and rice, despite the fact that I noticed some were not making eye contacts with the others. Fast forward, they have all sorted out their wahala and chatting heartily on their phone calls again Imagine if I had ignored the ones that ignored and actually embarrassed my hubby by not acknowledging him at this meeting A woman in support of her husband can never be said to have done the wrong thing They are and should always be a team The question now is whether she should voice out her support or not and under what circumstances It is strictly her prerogative to choose when to be silent and whom to be silent with One cap does not fit all in marriage issues If she thinks voicing out her position is the best decision under the circumstance and considering the people involved, she cannot be faulted, she alone wears the cap. As much as I believe in diplomacy, it doesn't work in every situation nor with everybody Some people continue to take advantage of you or your loved ones as long as you remain diplomatic with them For people who are very choleric and domineering like the mother-in-law in the OP's post, sometimes, it is in one's best interest to take a position and make it known In fact, for people like that, your neural position sef is offensive to her, she will call you aside to ensure you convince your husband to accede to her request, and when it doesn't happen, wahala for your head so what gives A mil who will start keeping malice with her dil for supporting her son tells a lot about her person Sometimes, it's just better to let people know your position early, initially, they will fight you, stereotype you as the wife who always supports her husband, but then, they lower their expectations of you and it saves you a lot of future headache. |

udoka2: @Tchiwinnie I use Reddington Hospital Ikeja GRA. I wont know if available with other hospital.
@Abibaby COW &gate and any other formular is fine, provided your baby isnt reacting to them, heard some babies do react to some milk. However, l use aptamil, its unecessarily expensive these days...because of dollar/naira exchange rate. In the past N3,800 but now N5000. its big anyway 900g two of sma gold. Are you kidding me? Aptamil is 10 pounds oo. If you can get someone to ship to you in large quantities, pls do. It's more efficient. |

zeb04: Did the wife say
Mama please don't be angry, don't let us quarrel over these. I believe we can settle amicably or atleast come to a compromise.
Or did she say
Look here woman, don't you come to my house and raise your voice at my husband. If you are not comfortable with the decision we have taken in our own home then you better excuse yourself. which? I'm sure it doesn't matter, it's a lose-lose situation for her. If she supports the husband, she is in trouble with the mil If she supports the mil, she is in trouble with the husband If she supports neither and takes a middle ground, she is in trouble with both of them. The main grouse is that a "common wife", a common property aka family slave is daring to have a say in family issues. God help women! |

coogar: and here lies the problem..... she would be hard pressed to fulfil her wifely duties. staff meetings, AGMs, seminars across the globe, training, etc. so it's lose-lose to the dude. The higher up you go, the more flexible your time is. Besides, you can afford to outsource some of your duties eg cooking, cleaning, washing but in this case, he has reached beyond his station. there's no way he can afford the high maintenance wife. his level is honda accord, wife's level is porsche cayenne. Once he gets to this stage, she supports. In your example, she will buy herself the Porsche cayenne, in addition to the Honda Accord he bought for her. |
