There should be an ohaneze ndigbo for all igbo groups in the south-south region. It's primary aim should be to promote the igbo identity and unify all Igbos in the region and protect their interests.

By the sheer size of Igbos in south-south, they should be able to match any other group in that region, and stop being easy picks.

Current Ohaneze cannot do this from outside, because it'll be seen as an incursion into the politics of the region.

There's nothing like Igboid. Igbo is igbo, though with many clans.
So you dont know that the Secretary General of Ohanaeze is an Ikwerre man called Uche Okwukwu?

Pls what's stopping the Nigeria police, dss and the military from clashing with the killer herdsmen and the bandits running riot in the northern states of Nigeria, they are quick to attack and unarmed group of people yet running away from the enemies of the nation,
Why do you think the armed killer herdsmen, long rated the 4th deadliest terrorist group in the world, have not been proscribed? They kill thousands of Nigerians every year, rape women and destroy farm lands but they will never be proscribed. But IPOB who are unarmed and killed nobody, they rushed to court to have them declared terrorists.

The authorities will never clash with armed herdsmen, the herdsman is well protected by the powers above.

I have lost sympathy a long time ago for ipobs and my condolences always remains with the dead and those that are controlled, manipulated and destined to be wasted in future..........You all have my condolences.
I would suggest you reserve much more condolences for the many Nigerians that are going to be killed by Boko haram, ISWAP and killer herdsmen in the future because that number is going to far far higher than that of IPOB killed. Thats the beauty of 'one Nigeria', a country where unarmed people are routinely slaughtered by those with guns.

Annkio Briggs Condemns The Killing Of IPOB Members In Enugu(video)

Foremost Niger Delta activist, Annkio Briggs, has condemned the killing of IPOB members in Enugu by the security forces. Briggs wondered how a peaceful meeting being held in school was reduced to a shooting spree by the security agencies when everyone knows that IPOB do not bear arms.

Briggs admonished Nigerians who keep quiet in the face of oppression and killings because it is happening elsewhere and doesnt concern them. She said that anybody has the right to agitate not to be part of Nigeria and nobody should be killed for exercising that right

She also touched on resource control saying that the Oil wealth of the Niger Delta has been taken away and the people given a paltry 13% while those who are mining solid minerals like Gold in Zamfara State keep 100% of the profits.

Lately ogoni people have been trying to land grab oyigbo. According to them igbos cannot be indigenous to Rivers State that oyigbo is ogoni land even with court documents on the reason for the boundary adjustment that needed oyigbo from old Imo state present day abia to rivers state. They still insist.

This attitude is one of the major reason why there's no peace in ogoni land, at every point in time they are eyeing another man's property.

They were part of the spearheaders of abandoned property in old Port Harcourt, now that the old igbo properties in old Port Harcourt are now useless and worn out their next Target is oyigbo. Alot of them are praying in their hearts that Nnamdi Kanu and ipob will do sth stupld to make igbos in oyigbo flee for their lives, so that they can come and take over.

And Nnamdi Kanu and his ipob are taking the bait. Thank God alot of igbos have seen this and won't ever follow kanus part of destruction
In 50 years time, all these places you are mentioning will be Fulani Emirates same way Hausa enclaves in the North like Sokoto, Kano and Kaduna have all become Fulani emirates with Fulani Emirs.

It’s my personal opinion sir and I’m not speaking for any other person. First time I watched Nnamdi Kanu was a video of him asking Igbos resident in the US to support him with finances to acquire weapon. If you don’t see nothing wrong with that, that’s you. We can’t all think and reason same way. This is a faceless forum but there are lots of people who would be shocked that he did that. Personally, I have come across very despicable individuals whom you wouldn’t want to associate or even shake their hands and I mean people who would do unimaginable things but you wouldn’t see such people coming on videos doing such. Fulani militants who camouflage as herders wouldn’t do such..showing their faces in camera asking for weapons, boyz at Esut and UNEC wouldn’t do it. You’ll only hear about them when the deed is done...that’s one of the reasons people laugh at IPOB and Kanu. Here on Nairaland, lots of people believe Kanu and IPOB are just ‘wailers’. They see Biafra as an online republic, they celebrate it when Igbos are killed.

Kanu shouldn’t be calling people names, stoking ethnic tensions and insulting people who disagree with him...Nairalanders call Igbos ‘pigs’ or pigsterners...Kanu started that. He has lots of fans but he should learn to listen and take advice.
Those who criticise him today might turn out to be his fanatical supporters tomorrow and I see that happening.

It’s one death too many...Igbos should wake up. There are lots of distractions. Governors, Ekweremadu and co not uniting and speaking with one voice like South west governors and politicians are doing especially about security. Amotekun is a brilliant idea. They stuck to it and wouldn’t be intimidated...Ugwuanyi and co are still flirting with Abuja and the Inspector General of police and being confused with silly awards being given to them.
We all don’t like the activities of herdsmen but apart from the insults from Kanu, he and IPOB have offered and come up with solutions.

At UNTH Ituku Ozalla, Fulanis have taken over the forests, they are all over there, it took the intervention of top staff at the hospital to reduce the crimes and menace that they constitute there. In the right hands and right method, these wouldn’t be happening, it’ll take some sacrifices but it’ll stop.

Lots of people want to contribute but not with what is happening and they way things are being done.

There’s a cartoon of an IPOB/Biafra soldier pointing his weapon backwards and that’s how people see Biafrans/IPOB. That is actually very good because if things are done correctly, the likes of that police commissioner and his friends would down on their knees on video begging for forgiveness.
Are you sure you watched the video of Kanu asking for arms in the US? If you did, you would have heard him say that the arms was for the people to protect themselves against Fulani herdsmen attacks. Self defence is a universal right recognised in law

I laugh when people say Kanu is insulting people and stoking ethnic tensions. Other groups are out there killing people all across Nigeria and someone is more interested in the words that come out of Kanu's mouth. Boko Haram, ISWAP, Killer herdsmen, bandits are all out there on the rampage, armed and killing people across the country daily. Another persons problem is the words of Kanu? What can Kanu say with his mouth that can be up to 1% of what others are doing in Nigeria?

The same man who only has his mouth and a Radio station is who they are deploying operation Python dance for but there is no operation anything for people being slaughtered in Southern Kaduna and other parts of Nigeria by armed miscreants

Lets get wise in this country
PoliticsRe: Civil Disturbances: Ugwuanyi Summons Emergency Security Meeting by kingzizzy: 6:39am On Aug 27, 2020
Ugwuanyi is doing the wrong thing. Summoning the security forces will only lead to him hearing a concocted one sided story. He should immediately constitute a high powered independent commission that will investigate what happened.

People in Enugu are not happy over the killings in Emene, they now see those killings as something with ethnic undertone. Many people now believe that a certain section of the country now dominate the security forces and are using the cover of their uniforms to kill Igbos in their own land

The authorities say IPOB are violent, yet the only violence attributed to IPOB started with the authorities being present.

RuggedSniper:
Read my post again. 'White chalk' in Olukunmi/Yoruba is Eko Efun... But in Ibo it means Ukwunzu. The indigenes simply translated the name of their town from Eko Efun to Ukwunzu which mean the same thing (white chalk deposits/mining exists in the town) but in different languages. So we can assume that this is how folks who are not originally migrants from the eastern side of River Niger adopted Ibo translation of their ethnic names in Aniocha North which shares direct boundaries with Esanland and Ikaland! Since 1991, I've read about the fantastic history and interacted with people of the ANIOMA area who are NOT monolithic in ethnic origin. Each ANIOMA town has a knowledge of where they and their ancestors originally migrated from... i.e, Igala, Yoruba, Esan, Bini, Nri, Nteje, etc.
This sounds far fetched. I would understand if migrants travelled very far distance, lost contact with their ancestral land and adopted some other language that maybe eroded their surnames. But we are talking about Edo and Delta states that are next door neighbours. Ika has border with Esan and Edo state but Ika people speak Igbo and have Igbo surnames. In fact, the name of the king of the Ika people is Ikechukwu Keagborekuzi. These are Igbo names. Are we really to believe thst his ancestors travelled a very short distance from Edo to Ika only for them to drop their Edo language and surname and adopt Igbo? Why would they do this when they are nextdoor to their Edo brethren? Makes no sense whatsoever
PoliticsRe: My Question For Ikwerre, Epkeye And Anioma Groups. by kingzizzy: 6:18pm On Aug 26, 2020

^^^Acculturation caused it and partly British rule. These people spoke their original languages/dialects... Then they became bilingual due to trading activities among the many ethnicities in that area of Delta North who used dialects of Ibo for communication. An Agbor (Ika) indigene from a royal lineage posted here on NL years back that it was during the British colonialism that the foreigners introduced Ibo language for education and religious instruction. She said they resisted the use of Ibo in their church by a priest when the Ika language (which has Edo and Iboid mix) should have been used in church. The Olukunmis also speak a mix of Yoruba and Iboid mix in Ugbodu town and Ukwunzu town, with the later being more Ibonized. Eko Efun means "white chalk" in Olukunmi language or Ukwunzu in Ibo. Nduka Ugbade, the captain of the victorious 1985 China U-15 World Cup Team is from the Olukunmi town of Ugbodu in Aniocha North not far from Onicha Ugbo which has Bini and Nri migrations in some of the quarters. Hope this helps.
There is still something that does not make sense. Even if you can explain that these people lost their language due to interactions and trading with Igbos, which is even difficult to believe since Edo is not that far away, what nobody has been able to explain is why their surnames are Igbo?

Why would an Edo/Bini/Esan migrant forget the surname of his ancestors and adopt an Igbo surname? Makes no sense

Yoruba ancestry from Owo, Ife/Usen in Edo State (migrated through Esanland centuries ago) exist today in Aniocha North among the bilingual Olukunmi people of the towns of Ugbodu and Eko Efun (meaning Ukwu Nzu in Ibo) among other Olukunmi towns. The ANIOMA come from many ethnic origins (Yoruba, Igala, Esan, Bini, Nri, etc).
Theres only one thing I do not get. If Idumuje Ugboko is of Bini/ Esan heritage, why is it that everyone there speaks Igbo as their native language and have an Igbo surname? What happend to the Bini/Esan heritage? This place is just about an hour drive to Esan land

The Enugu Massacre of 23rd August, 2020: An Open Letter to IPOB Worldwide
By: Mazi Nnamdi Kanu
As the formidable family of IPOB Worldwide continues to mourn our braves - the # Enugu21 who fell in Defense of Freedom, I bring you the sincerest words of comfort and fortitude from the very depths of my heart.
I recognize the enormous burden this struggle has brought on our members and those that are not members but support what we do. Our various nuclear families have also suffered untold. I comfort and condole you all.
The burden of restoring Biafra is herculean and it crystallizes in the constant danger of being killed by wanton acts of Nigerian State terror unleashed by a terrorist Federal government that has successfully cowed our elected and non-elected leaders.
Since it’s now clear that those that call themselves your leaders are imprisoned by fear, I say to you - fear not; for victory and succor shall be ours in no distant future and any Biafran blood lost in this epic struggle will be requited manifold.
In my most private moments - when I reflect on this struggle and it’s fallouts- I have often been tempted, like Christ, to ask that this cup be passed from me. I’m sure you all feel the same in many fleeting moments of despair that is common with the fragile human spirit.
Yet, even as a mere mortal, I dare not relent because I know for sure that mine is a divine and generational call. I know that I must make this personal sacrifice for the collective and eternal good of our people. I ask you all to do the same, even as it is a great burden. A burden borne in blood, honor and self-denial.
Thus, I shall persevere until Biafra is restored. I ask that you do likewise. For, it is only when we demonstrate to our enemies and friends alike - the sheer will of the human mind and the indomitable spirit to free ourselves that they can take us seriously.
Yes, it’s true that we have no guns and no army but in the minds of our members lies the greatest weapon of all - the will to be free from domination and terror, the will to succeed, the will to survive, and the will to build one of the greatest nations that the world is yet to see. And soon to see.
The Biafra that lies in your spirit, the Biafra that propels you to agitate - is the greatest weapon, far greater than any guns, bullets and battle tanks. Be strengthened in the assurance that you are not alone. You are a legion.
Let this be clear: All that participate or assist in the unlawful taking of the lives of any Biafran will - thenceforth - be adequately requited through every lawful means available to us. Such lawful means include the right to self-defense, the right to repel every unlawful act of State and non-State terror.
And to those of you - Biafran or not - who have chosen the path of indifference to the human carnage and fratricide that has become Nigeria of this era, I leave you with the poignant words of Elie Wiesel, who said:
“Indifference is not a response. indifference is always the friend of the enemy, for it benefits the aggressor - never his victim - whose pain is magnified when he or she feels forgotten. And in denying their humanity, we betray our own”.
Mr Wiesel captures the true essence of true Biafrans. We are not indifferent. We are not indifferent to our own cause to be free, and the supreme sacrifices some of us have made, and still counting. It’s now up to compatriot humanity to enable us or deny their humanity by betraying us.
So, as we mourn this latest mass murder of our people, let us all take some comfort that they didn’t die in vain, they died in honor, they fell in defense of freedom and their precious blood will be best requited by our collective and abiding resolve to never back down until Biafra is restored.
We Must Continue!
Signed:
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu
Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Ohamadike! Whatever they say or do, we will never agree to be slaves in our own land. One day, we shall all be free of this British Lord Lugard concocted nightmare called "Nigeria"
PoliticsRe: Dss Vs Ipob: Why We Must Preach Peace And Not Retaliation by kingzizzy: 3:01pm On Aug 26, 2020
bbamusa:
The unfortunate incident of Sunday August 23, 2020, that took the lives of well-meaning Nigerians in Emene, Enugu state, when security forces on patrol were attacked by members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB has once again brought to bare the cost of violence, the price of rebellion and the risk of disobedience.

Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable. The only real revolution is in the enlightenment of the mind and improvement of character wrapped in a refined civil approach. Bombs and guns do not achieve a revolution if there any from the first place, the sword of revolution is sharpened using the whetting-stone of ideas through dialogue and communication.

As a country we must remain cautious of how we handle such developments as they unfold.

I am just a preacher of peace, lover of orderliness, I have understood long ago that violence is never an answer to any challenge when we have one to deal with. The great Martin Luther King once said, “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.” Going by this idea, violence cannot drive out violence, only peace can.

When an agitation is faulty from the onset, then avoidable pitfalls of loss may not be totally ruled out. But the best way to survive and rise as a nation lies on a way we manage agitations within the ambits of the law. We should focus more on supporting the governments in its effort of protection and preservation of the constitution as they have sworn to do.

It is quite unfortunate and regrettable that the incident lead to untimely deaths of some fellow Nigerians who chose to pay the ultimate price for peace, but we must remember that obedience to constituted authority is divinely a duty if we proclaim to be religious people. And this ultimately will leads us to true freedom. Laws are not meant to destroy us, but to maintain orderliness in a sane society. But otherwise leads to our own destruction.

It remains a thing of concern how swift some volatile Nigerians act to cash-in on such events to further spread hate and enemity on the internet, directed against security forces whose sacrifices we enjoy. Mind you, these securities we rebuke are Nigerians too.

They chose to put their lives on the line so that we can have peace. They sacrifice their sleep, comfort and quality time with families, patrolling our streets to ensure our safety. But we always not only under-appreciating them, but easily condemned them as they bleed to protect us.

Since the incident happened, I took time to go through some comments on the social media, all I see was a spit of venom directed towards these securities whom their fault was only making sure we remain peaceful. I was heartbroken, close to shading tears, I ask myself this simple question just like one unanimous person as always "how did we get here" or "who did this thing to us"? those who we ought to be applauding for laying down their lives so that we can live are instead being accused and taunted, calling them names and wishing evil against them. These individuals know little or nothing about the cost of war.

I also read the unsavoury threats by the fugitive leader of IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, calling on IPOB members not to hesitate in activating defensive mechanism against security forces, then I remembered he is just a clown who derives pleasure in misleading people and fomenting trouble.

We must absolutely disregard the odious remarks by these agitators who know little to nothing about the cost of beating the drum of war.

IPOB being a proscribed group in the eye of the law, any gathering by them remains unlawful, and they should understand that. Moreover, on a general note, coronavirus is still active and people are being discouraged from gathering, what happened to the social distancing? Avoiding unnecessary gathering because of the pandemic is still in force!

A tweet from one Samson Adeyemi @ChiefOjukwu was particularly encouraging he wrote "Dear IPOB please do not take laws into your hands. I am against the killing of unarmed Citizens, but please let the agitations not lead to more killings. The DSS operatives you killed are humans and your brothers too. Your leaders are your real enemies, not the DSS."

At this critical time we are duty bound to preach peace and acceptance not hate for it can only lead to greater destruction. We need to do this for our future and those of our children.

Let me be a free man, free to travel, free to stop, free to work, free to trade where I choose, free to choose my own teachers, free to follow any religion of my choice , free to talk, think and act for myself — and I will obey every law or submit to the penalty, Chief Joseph. So says a wise man.

Unity is strength, division is weakness. He who experiences the unity of life sees his own self in all beings, and all beings in his own self, and looks on everything with an impartial eye.

We can’t keep silent we must keep speaking against violence of any form. A choir is made up of many voices including yours and mine. If one by one all go silent then all that will be left are the soloists.

Our ability to reach unity in diversity will be the beauty of the test of our civilization. Put race against race, religion against religion, and prejudice against prejudice. Divide and conquer! We must not let that happen here.

How good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell together in unity. When we work together in love and unity we can expect heaven’s help.

There are so many wrongs happening in this country, so many. Be that as it may, resorting to violent confrontation is hardly the way to achieve true democracy.

Yes, We will hold our leaders accountable for our lives and the best way is by supporting and believing they mean and are capable well and holding on to their responsibility.

A nation falls not because of governmental atrocity, but because of the citizens’ indifference to ways of solving those atrocities through strive.

Chukwuebuka from Nnewi South, Anambra.
Wake up man, "one Nigeria" is not by force. Just the same you believe in the unity of Nigeria is the same way others have a right not to believe in it. Everday it will be "there is unity in diversity", "one Nigeria is a task that must be done", "we will achieve greatnes if we stay one", una no dey tire?

In the meantime, the country is been overrun by different armed bandits, Islamic fundamentalism is on the rise, corruption is on the rise, Nigeria is poverty capital of the world and things are getting worse by the day

The issue of IPOB is the extra-judicial killing of unarmed people.

Terrible. You could actually see that the commissioner of Police for Enugu state, Ahmed Abdulrahman, was really happy for the killing of Igbo youths. He even tried to frame the 5 IPOB suspects he paraded by putting words in their mouth, asking them to agree to having arms and suggesting to them that they were doing martial arts training to be strong enough to fight the federal government

I have never seen such a show of shame by a senior police officer who was clearly ethnically biased.

To make matters worse, he boasted of how he mobilised the Police, Airforce, SARS, Army and anti- kidnapping unit to go after IPOB. Yet, when a pregnant woman was killed by Fulani herdsmen on her farm in Nchatancha, which is less than 15 minutes from where the clash between IPOB and DSS happened, the community did not see anybody. They even had to protest carrying the womans corpse

What a shame

I'm talking about who is easier to go after and not that herdsmen are better than Ipob. Besides, according to the police report, ipob killed an officer first. You can't expect the officers to smile at you while you try to kill them with manual weapons. Even the biggest democracies across the world do not take that.

If ipob can start holding placards instead of sticks, start giving out powerful lectures instead of insults, and most especially, start talking to their senators instead of threatening to burn down the country, you will be surprised how far you would get.
You saw the dead body of IPOB members, did you see the dead body of any police? You really think that armed police went somewhere and IPOB that are not known to be armed managed to kill them? Dont you think that if IPOB was armed and had the intention of killing Policemen, they would just pick a random a police station and destroy it with everyone in it? Why would they be waiting for Police to come to them? IPOB is not armed and has never been armed. It is the security forces that have always brought violence to IPOB matter. Every incident of violence regarding IPOB has always had something to do with the security forces. But any time the security forces are not there, IPOB will do there thing without any incident

It then goes to show that the cause of violence is not IPOB but the security forces. They just say that IPOB attacked them to cover up the killing of unarmed people

The group of old piggy clowns need to do more research. The army and police do attack the herdsmen when they strike but how do you expect them to handle people that employ guerrilla tactics?

If the herdsmen would start organizing rallies and moving with their flags just like Ipob pigs, they would be attacked.

oHAMASeze should use that energy to warn their useless youths not to attack security officers with sticks if they don't want to face bullets
In other words, it is better for IPOB to employ clandestine tactics and kill as many people as possible rather be open and transparent through public protest? This is how Nigeria creates terrorism. This what the security forces did when Dikko Yusuf was leading unarmed Boko haram. They went in there and killed him and his followers. Shekau took over and took up arms and Nigeria had been fighting for 10 years at the cost of hundreds of billions of Naira that could have been used for other things, thousands of lives lost and millions in IDP camps. All for what? The heavy handed and unnecessary use of force by the Nigerian security agencies

Now you Nigerians want to repeat the same thing with IPOB.

Dont worry about these guys, IPOB lawyers will get them out eventually. Even the shameless commissioner of police trying to frame them in front of journalists has proved that there is no case. What you should be worried about is the many Nigerians that will be extra-judicially killed, illegally framed, illegally detained, tortured, dehumanised and beaten by the security forces in the future. Mr. Uche Achi-Okpagha, Acting Secretary-General and National Publicity Secretary of apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has wondered why the state Commissioner of Police did not invite the Army, Air Force and other security agents over killer-herdsmen on rampage in the South-East, but did so when members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, were holding a peaceful meeting at Emene, Enugu State.

He said: “Ohanaeze has kept a studied silence on the issue. In my personal opinion, I heard the Commissioner of Police, Enugu State, on the radio saying he contacted the Army and the Air Force and I pitied myself and my people.

“Don’t we have rules of engagement in Nigeria again? How can you be unleashing such an extra-maximum force on civilians?

“Note that they were not seen on the road or streets disturbing the peace of the environment.

“How many times has he invited the Army and Air Force to the bushes in Enugu State where our people are killed, maimed, women and daughters raped by killer-herdsmen or bandits as you may have it?

“How many times did he invite them to our farms and villages being pulverised by these miscreants?

“In the peak of the coronavirus pandemic, when truckloads of people from the North were coming into Enugu, did he invite the Army and the Air Force to stop them?

“It were better that he did not make any statement at all. I urge the IGP to order a full-scale investigation into the matter, where, in the guise of maintaining peace, a lot of budding young men were gunned down by the combined security forces.

“What kind of peace was achieved in the whole exercise? Even if they were IPOB members, I have never heard of them attacking anybody in Enugu.

“It is completely unfortunate as it is unfair to unleash such force on civilians who were without guns.

“This is democracy for crying out loud. The duty of the police is to arrest and prosecute not to kill.

“I watched a viral video of the Shi’ites (also said to be proscribed) in Abuja addressing and attacking the person and integrity of the President in the full glare of the Police,” the Ohanaeze scribe added over the attack on IPOB members.

I still stand to say that these guys doing this IPOB things are wrong
The police and other Nigerian forces will keep killing, imprisoning and injuring many
The best thing is to end all forms of public activities since IPOB has been proscribed.
Yes I don't support the killings by the forcemen and I see the interview as an act to hoodwink these guys to agree to weapon usage and all
Now they've been caught, they will never have justice and these lives will waste in prison for like more than 10years atleast
What's the gain?
If Kanu is lying low, why should not these ones do so too?
During the S. African fight against apartheid the whole black community joined but in this case even the state governors are busy enjoying state monies & don't care.
So, these guys need to step down atleast
You think this will stop with IPOB? If Nigerians dont learn to reject the unnecessary and heavy handed use of force by the security forces, it will only take a Policeman not liking your face for you to end up dead. A commissioner of Police is saying that he mobilised the Police, Airforce, Army, DSS and Anti-kidnapping unit to go after IPOB that is not known to bare arms or kill people. Yet no commissioner of police in Nigeria has ever mobilised that amount of force to go after armed herdsmen killing people all across Nigeria.

That should tell you something very important if you are wise
PoliticsRe: why are nigeria Army protecting fulnais but killing Igbo youths. by kingzizzy: 6:49am On Aug 26, 2020
The current government is ethnically biased in favour of Fulanis, everyone knows that. Thats why in 2017 the government of Buhari was rushing to declare IPOB, an unarmed group that killed nobody, a terrorist group. The same Buhari will never declare his armed herdsmen brothers, who are killing people everywhere, a terrorist group.

Taa, mechionu gi there. People are becoming wiser with this IPOB/Kanu scam. It was all rosy when you guys started until the scales begin to fall off many peoples eyes. Your interest and Igbo interest are poles apart. As a matter of fact, IPOB should gather themselves and join Kanu in exile.

You poeople have succeded in demonizing the Biafran ideals. It has now become a mockery. Fight for your Jewish republic and get shot if possible, but don’t drag us into it. Ndigbo are focused on important things and you stubborn clowns cannot drag us backwards. As a matter of fact, meet your fellow Biafrans with two wrappers to speak for you, the Ijaws, Urhobos and the rest, because we have no business with such republic.
Yes I guess the Igbo dream is to remain part of the Boko haram, AK47 killer herdsmen, terrorists ISWAP nation infested failed country called Nigeria. I wonder why Nnamdi Kanu didnt see the beauty of the poverty capital of the world and terrorist pron nation called Nigeria. Who wouldn't want to be part of the poverty capital of the world?

These reporters or journalists are very unprofessional. What do you expect from brown envelope reporters. These guys should be released cos there's no case against them.

Imagine that lad in so much pain and the guys are making fun of him.

That CP should be ashamed of himself with his poor English. Where do they get these animals from?
The reporters were highly biased. Rather than ask the boys to state their side of the side of the story, they sided with the stupid commissioner of Police and interviewed the boys like they were already guilty. They even called the one who was shot "odeshi"

IamWonderful:
You didn't watch the video, one of the outlawed Ipob members was hiding in an inspector ceiling, what an effrontery? they aren't innocent.
I think you should watch the video again. None of them said anything about hiding any inspector in the ceiling. What the guy said is that the Police were shooting and he ran into a building where he met a woman who directed him to hide in the ceiling. Stop spreading fake news here when the video is there

From No Referendum no Election to vote Atiku Obi Fulani Ibo Nigerian tickets
Oh, so the evil thing Kanu did is telling people how to vote or not vote? Really? Anybody can do that. If I like I can tell all Igbos to vote for Papa Ajasco come 2023. Wether anybody listens to me is their own business
