If it could be owned, countries like Guinea, Mali and Benin would have been charging Nigeria for using part of the River to generate electricity since the River Niger flows through those countries before getting to Nigeria. Nobody owns the River Niger so no one can charge or restrict another on how it is used

As much as the " Wild" Biafra sees Nigeria as the "Zoo" it is a fact that Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe was the first ingenious of Nigeria post independence. Nigeria ran a regionalized and a parliamentary system of administration. Now the issues:

Firstly, What system of administration does Biafra intends to adopt or create; Presidential, Parliamentary or a new leadership indigenous( ecological) model to be created?

Secondly, how does the struggle intends to manage Majority/Minority participation in governance and allocation of resources?

Thirdly, What plans has the Kanu led Bifran struggle have as it concerns bringing home Bifrans across Nigeria home and resettling them to normal life in such a manner they wont have to wish they never left; in essence what is the guarantee of a better life in Biafra than in Nigeria. Not too many people I guess want to leave Nigeria rich and come to live poor in Biafra.

Fourthly, Does Kanu and his Ipob have any economic blueprint for the prosperity of Biafra already drawn; if not why? Those are indicators of a serious pursuit or not.

The Fifth question: How does the struggle intends to manage immigration and border control with the "Zoo"? It's critical.

Finally for now; will an igbo Man vote an Ijaw,an Agbor, A Bini person or an Urhobo Man or woman as the first president, Prime minister or Chairman of the Biafran republic if so attained?

While the answers to some of the questions posed above are already in the public domain, it important to note that only free and independent people plan for the future.

In other words, freedom and self determination are paramount to all other things.

Nigeria will never change, anyone who does not agree is someone who has not yet woken up to the fact that Nigeria is a 'Northern property'

You have the right to build a port at Onitsha and other places along the Niger and Imo River. But you can't come to the Niger Delta to dredge the water way of the Niger and Imo river within their territory thereby making your ports non functional.

You dont seem to get it. The River Niger and its tributaries do not belong to anyone, no matter whose lands it flows through. Dredging is not even necessary. A city like London has several River ports on the River thames. They just use barges to take out and bring in goods. One barge can carry hundreds of containers depending on its size. People make this mistake of thinking that it is necessary for Big ship to come to Sea ports, not true. Flat type barges can be sent to big ships on the high Sea to deliver or collect goods. Onitsha port can operate hundreds of barges if necessary just like London does. The only reason Onitsha has not done this is because there are other alternatives for now. We have full access to the Sea.

There is a big difference between being landlocked and having access to the sea.
