We are Jehovah's Witnesses, we don't just take orders from anyone without ascertaining what is the significance of such injunctions so whenever Jehovah ask us to do anything the first thing true JWs often do is to question Jehovah to be sure that the spirit talking is in deed the true God!
Abraham, Moses even Jesus did this before taking action on whatever they hear from the spirit. So when we read in the scriptures that Jehovah warned his faithful servants of old not to eat meat along with it's blood {Genesis 9:4; Deuteronomy 12:23; Act 15:29} we need to question Jehovah to be certain of such injunction, but we can't see or hear him directly unlike our people of ancient times with whom Jehovah spoke directly!
So how do we question Jehovah to know why he gave such orders? It's by studying his words with diligence so that we can defend His words before all kinds of people.
Jehovah explained that the (life) of a creature is in its blood {Leviticus 17:11} meaning such a thing is not to be transferred from the body of one creature to another!
Of course when Jehovah gives such orders we can't expect those who don't know our God to take such injunction seriously. But we need to be certain of the evil consequences Jehovah wants to prevent from affecting His loving children. Isaiah 48:17-18
Today there are so many deadly diseases ravaging lives throughout the earth though before now such do occur but not to this level, surely all these are the consequences of man's disobedience to the wise counsel from God's word. For your information, professional health workers themselves will totally object to blood transfusion because they know that it's just part of their experiments that has not been adequately certified as safe treatment.
Please go and ask health professionals not just the nurses but a certified doctor who is your close confidant what i'm telling you now, then you'll be shocked that you've been thoroughly deceived!
What most people don't know is that each profession has its deep secrets that we don't reveal to the masses to keep our profession on the higher level. Health professionals knew very well that there are so many forms of treatment they are carrying out on patients as part of their experiments but they will not tell you. If you travel to advance countries today you will see that blood transfusion is no more administered because they've seen the poor outcome of the experiment over the years. And they will never come out publicly to say they're sorry for misleading the the entire human race because if they do then the W.H.O (World Health Organization) has lost it. Throughout the world people will start reverting to the alternative health practices.

All these are top secrets that i shouldn't be disclosing on social media but just know that blood transfusion is evil. But it's just unfortunate that the only people who objected to it are the most vilified in the society of course their God knows far much more than all the scientists in the world! Isaiah 55:9

What is the reason of eating or drinking? Is it not to provide nutrients. God’s word says “abstain from blood”. At the time this instruction was given, the only known means of blood intake was either eating or drinking. But over the centuries oral and parentereal applications of blood were introduced. If you are ill and unable to eat, can’t the nutrients be intravenously administered to you?
In like manner, intravenously administering/transfusion blood to an individual is same as blood consumption.

With regards to matter of life and death as it pertains to blood transfusions. Let’s look at this example of the first century;

Emperor Nero has arrested a family of father, mother and child, and they are led before a great crowd of people in the theatre. In the middle of the theatre is an altar with a burning fire, and beside the fire is a censer with incense. The ultimatum to the father is: «Go to the altar and put some incense on the fire, thus sacrificing to the genius of the emperor, and your whole family will be released. If not, all of you will be killed.
Shall the father compromise his faith in order to save the life of himself and his family, including his child?
Many Christians refused to do just that and were consequently killed.

It is clear, there is no compromise when it comes to God’s law on the matters highlighted in Acts 15:21.

When I was in secondary school my friend said their family was going to take my parents house when Armageddon comes, that it was going to appear soon I was shocked because it was the first time I heard such doctrine. ©LOVE must always reflect in whatever He does because everything i see around reflects LOVE so the One who is responsible for all these things must have love greater than what anyone can imagine.

©POWER is the ability to work. So God must be proactive and whoever wants to talk about God must show me what this God is doing as WORK in line with His will.

©JUSTICE means impartiality or fairness to all. So God must be fair to all, no one or race is special without a reason. God must explain why He chose to favour some since no one is related to Him.

©WISDOM is practical application of knowledge which brings lasting benefits. So God must plan ahead of future prospect even before anyone can perceive it!

A Twitter user has narrated her experience on the efficiency of the security system in the United States of America where she is currently residing.

The Twitter user, Mofoluwaso, with the handle, @Im_Mide said she got a call from 911 after her phone mistakenly dialled the number and hung up.

She disclosed that even though she told the official that it was a mistake, the police showed up to make sure she is okay and stayed for some time before leaving. The Twitter user further revealed that this occurred between 4:45am -5:10am.

I have been thinking about this lately and decide to share it here. Don't get me fellas, I'm a Christian and believe in God and his son Jesus Christ

It is believe that God created the world and knows what happened before, what is happening presently and what will happen later till the end of time. This brings me question on why he allowed Satan to decieve man, why was he also angry since He knew beforehand of what will happen? Then the consequent punishment, was it really justified?

The most confusing part to me now is life after death. I personally believe that there is heaven and hell right from my childhood days until one guy (Jehovah witness) told me that there is nothing like hell, he went on that even heaven is for a specific number of choose people and not for everyone, above all, he said that when one dies, your own is finished and you are not gonna go anywhere. Simply put, your body and spirit will die.

I nearly insulted him for spewing such rubbish but many years after, I'm beginning to think think twice about this issue.
Now, imagine suffering in this life for all the days of your life only to meet death (body and spirit),

My question is;

1) why not just enjoy your life even if it means doing bad things to enjoy life?
If you can't enjoy life, why not kill yourself and rest to avoid the sufferings?

2) Even if there is life after death, what if there is no suffering cos God may decide to give everyone peace after death.

3) Those that didn't hear anything about God, what is their fate?

4) which of the scriptures is to be trusted?

May God forgive my ignorance if what I just wrote is bad and punishable.

When you post an issue on Nairaland or seek for a piece of advice, you will receive different kinds of advice. Some are annoying and some reasonable. A nairalander's comment tells you who the person is. So the commentators can be categorised thus:
1.Religious people:They give comment from religious perspectives which reflects the fear of God.
2.Philosophical people:They code their comments with thought provoking words reflecting life's experiences.
3.Carnal people:I don't know what word I can use. They make case for sin. They counsel based on their bad lifestyle. They give you reasons your bad behaviour is normal and there is nothing you can do about it.
4.Neutral people:They are neither here nor there depending on their mood and the popular comments.
5.Follow-follow people:Similar to no. 4 but they are not that neutral. They only give comments after they've read the comments and get the general consensus.
6.Offensive people:They attach your post without digesting it's contents.They don't know that there are different kinds of people visiting nairaland:pastors,Imams,Prof.,politicians, people above 50 years also come here etc. They are hot tempered always bashing every post like this one.
.....you can add to it. So watch people's comments and evaluate them based on the individual's underlying factor before you follow the advice.

Politics of 2023 presidential election appears unpredictable as many political gladiators on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) are already jostling to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari. Political power is understandably expected to shift to the southern Nigeria after President Buhari must have completed his two terms of office. This calculation is based on the unwritten agreement of rotational presidency between the North and the South.

Undoubtedly, the leading and most popular of all the gladiators that are aspiring to occupy the number one seat of Nigeria on the platform of APC is Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Aside being the National Leader of the ruling party, the former Governor of Lagos State was highly instrument in the formation of APC and eventual capturing of power from the PDP led government in year 2015. Realistically, BAT has the goodwill, widespread acceptance, political structure and financial wherewithal to clinch the presidential ticket of APC and still go ahead to win the presidential election.

Inasmuch as these permutations look strongly favourable for Bola Tinubu, it should also be noted that some forces within the APC are already plotting to stop his emergence as the party’s candidate. It has even been argued in some questers that Asiwaju has since transmuted to a kingmaker; and it is a general belief that kingmakers are never known to have become kings.

In spite of cold political calculations that may not not be to the advantage of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, one thing that cannot be taken away from the highly cerebral and smooth operating politician is the fact that he is always a step ahead of his detractors. While his detractors appear fixated on working against his next political ambition, the Jagarban Borgu is also expected not to have gone to bed without giving serious thoughts to all possible options available to him.

Without doubt, one quality option that is available to Asiwaju Tinubu and indeed the APC in 2023 is the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo. The intellectual and legal genius may not be politically savvy like other gladiators, however, his competence has readily make up for whatever he may perhaps be lacking as a career politician. He has evidently demonstrated capacity to competently administer the affairs on Nigerian nation on several occasions. Osinbajo had on severally seized the opportunity of the president’s medical visit to the United Kingdom to proved his competence and leadership acumen to all Nigerians.

Osinbajo has left no one in doubt of his ability to skillfully and expertly manage the nation’s affairs whenever his boss travels abroad for medical check up. The fact that the Vice president is eminently qualified and highly experienced to succeed his boss should not be argued. As a lawyer, Osinbajo became a Senior Advocate of Nigeria at a fairly young age. He had later served for eight years as Lagos State Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General. He has also been in the saddle as Nigerian Vice president since year 2015.

It will be recalled that Osinbajo had properly pilot Nigerian economy, strengthened the Naira and ensure security across the country in his capacity as Acting President while President was abroad for medical treatment. It should also be noted that Osinbajo demonstrated his firmness and capacity to the admiration of most Nigerians. One instance of this was when the Vice president promptly sacked Lawal Daura as the boss of Department of State Security (DSS) in August, 2018.

Unknown to many people, Prof Yemi Osinbajo actually anchored the international conferences that led to the creation of strategic institutions such as the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC), Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Federal Road Safety Commission and National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC).

More so, the twin qualities of integrity and loyalty that have since become very rare amongst Nigerian politicians are what Osinbajo is truly known to have in abundance. He has evidently shown genuine loyalty to his boss, even when President Buhari was critically sick and flown to the UK. All the the while, Osinbajo never contemplated any act of disloyalty. He has also resolutely committed himself to the cause of Nigeria and her dreams. He has established himself as a political soul-mate and a dependable ally of his boss, President Muhammadu Buhuri.
The Vice President is also a model of integrity as he has for more than forty years maintained exceptionally clean lifestyle and conducts.

Another outstanding quality of Prof Osinbajo is his deep sense of patriotism and commitment to excellence and hard work. In addition, the alumnus of London School of Economics is a detribalized leader who also sees himself first as Nigerian and never known to have manifested tribal or religious sentiment. He is a strategic leader that knows what to do, when to do same and how to get it done.

Despite being a pastor, he has continually promote religious tolerance and harmony in the country. He is also imbued with genuine fear of God, which is responsible for his trademark humility, loyalty and patience. Osinbajo is also a lover of peace and firm believer in one strong and indivisible Nigerian nation. He is undoubtedly an egg head and a great strategist which are great attributes that great leaders should posses.

Another reason that also makes Osinbajo a credible option for the APC presidential ticket is the fact of his unblemished records in both private and public sectors. This fact will also make it a lot easy to market him across all ethnic divides in the country. More so, the Vice president is comparably young and he is loved by most Nigerians. As things stand today, Nigerian youths, professionals, civil servants, artisans and peasants will prefer to have Osinbajo as their next president because of his close interactions with them.

While others gladiators are busy scheming to grab the presidential ticket of APC, Nigerian Vice president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo has always count on the same grace of God that sought out David amongst his brethren and eventually made him a king. The 64 years old lawyer and pastor is divinely positioned to be the joker of APC in 2023. He is clearly positioned not only to help the party retain power, but to also unite all factions and restore lasting peace and discipline to the ruling party.
