PointB:If we follow your timeline then we have another 18 months to wait before any action occurs. Unfortunately the situation deteriorates so fast that there's not time to be twiddling your thumbs deliberating. There's no excuse for tardiness. |
Any laws passed recently?, (silence) Any sacred cows put to the sword?, (even more silence). Any major pending projects commissioned and completed ?, (the silence is getting irritating). Any new major forward-looking policy changes in sports, (sound of the breeze) In power, (still silence) In mining, (silence). Main output: Plans, communiques, retreats, strategy sessions, intentions, goals, aims, reasons, motives, anything but action. |

Fayimora: Moderator of Programming forum and party to demotivation of budding programmers ![]() @Igbo-boy http://www.microsoft.com/visualstudio/en-us/products/2010-editions/visual-csharp-express to download the visual c# express http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/default to get tutorial videos on microsoft's visual studio. as a fifth-year medical student, you are clearly studious enough. Just carry over that studiousness and attention to detail. visit sites like www.codinghorror.com to learn best practices and ask questions on www.stackoverflow.com anytime you get stuck in your coding (do some work before you go there, dont expect them to solve it if you havent at least worked on it). Last Note: Master one programming language before you start jumping around. cheers. |

The cheating ones(not all nigerian women) are like cars in motion. They have something they want and YOU ARE NOT IT. so they keep moving till they GET IT. |
definitely front page material |
Oga musiwa, i think you really need to open a blog. |
Doctor, Lagos is a better idea simply because your business doesnt exist in a vacuum and the bulk of your likely customers have their head offices in Lagos. Besides as a logistics firm, closeness to the ports is a good idea. |
nice plot. waiting to see if he'll be able to make a successful comeback. |
afam4eva:you actually wish that would happen. Hence the repetition. But wishing it wont make it happen. Since its a global village, please head northeast to Tokyo and contest for mayor. You refuse to accept reality and thats the simple basic truth. I take it as a compliment that you love that city that much but keep it in mind, that you are still a stranger. |
I know you started a dumb thread and your a.s.s is now on fire, but stop defending the indefensible. |
KnowAll:even more B.ull.shi.t. Its your numbers we are disputing, maga. Besides, even if they win that election, it WILL BE OVERTURNED. its that simple. |
Besides anything you have to say is moot. You are not resident in nigeria and do not know enough about it to make comments. You are definitely NOT YORUBA and you probably only read about dangote on the web once you grew old enough to surf without supervision. This is the cold hard reality of life in nigeria. There are ANCESTRAL LANDS. There are INDIGENES. Indigenes have RIGHTS as distinct from SETTLERS. You are the one who lives in cuckoo land. Nowhere in the world do people willing give up legacies bequeathed by their ancestors without being compelled forcefully. Not Saudi Arabia, Not Japan, Not China. If such people are so concerned with serving their country, then they should go where they are needed most. Not Lagos but KANO. He can do more service there. He is permitted under the law but he is NOT ENTITLED to it simply because he employs people there. Otherwise Yoruba CEOs of oil servicing firms would have a right to contest for governorship in Rivers and cross-rivers. Face the reality, we are a conglomeration of nations, and as far as the yoruba NATION is concerned, Dangote IS NOT A CITIZEN. One other thing: I am ok with being ineligible for governorship in Lagos because they are also ineligible for Governorship in my state. Obviously people serve as commissioners across state boundaries (current Osun governor Aregbesola was a commissioner in Tinubu's cabinet). That doesnt mean a Non-Yoruba can simply walk into office there. Respect your landlords. |
KnowAll:basing your thoughts on questionable statistics from the irresponsible comments of a desperate politician is not a good idea. 97% no. 79% to 85% yes. We are still largely the majority. |
mustspin:but you agree that there's some rot in the system and also that as a founder he has to market his university well. Lets allow them start before we judge them. |
if you want to buy, where is the best place to buy? which are the most important food crop towns in the middle belt? Just want to know where the major distribution points are in the middle belt. |
KnowAll:compared to the Ashantes, the Ga are a tiny tribe. Compared to Hausa/Igbo we are not. So your assertion is wrong AGAIN. |
Igba wo lawon were yi ma to gbon. Ti won ba bi babanla baba yin, e nowo soke fun governorship. Iya yen a poju. God bless the non-yoruba i.di.ot that decides to waste his hard earned wealth on elections. You will be remembered just like Dele Momodu as the one-vote man. Frankly, as someone said earlier on one of the posts, Lagos is the one place where yorubas can shed their dialects and mix. as such, it has more significance than just being a trading center. It is now a major part of our psyche and not to be trifled with. Cry foul all you want about nigeria being retrogressive but the fact is that I have not seen a chinese of african origin holding any political post or a black prime minister in Japan. That's not happening anytime soon even if you make billions as sole spare parts marketer to toyota. KnowAll:Stop using examples from a nation of immigrants. they are all newcomers and no one has more claim than the next over there. We Yorubas have been living here (the awori have been there for centuries) for centuries and should be respected. The onus is on the stranger to be civil at least and not try to collect the morsel from the homeowners mouth. |
I am feeling very bad now. I knew things were bad but not this bad. THE POLICE DONT KNOW THEMSELVES. They dont know who's a cop and who's not. That is the worst thing I have read today. |
win one local government ward then come back here to ask for members. |
^^^Did you finish or did you get kicked out? ![]() |
http://pressenza.com/npermalink/evidence-of-british-and-cia-collaboration-with-gaddafi-in-the-rendition-and-torture-programme-found-in-tripoli read to find evidence that your so-called Ghadaffi was ALSO a CIA collaborator. So your so-called anti-imperialist champion was NOT. he was just a bold-faced dictator like the rest of them. |
still on prohibited list. |
I dont believe corruption should be kept secret, but I am against such a flood of comments. People simply gist away national secrets(corrupt secrets not included). |
Both have really bright futures. PHP has most of the mindshare for web development. I don't really see Rails taking that away. Java won't be going anywhere either. As far as "brightest" goes, I dunno. Both are good choices for their respective domains.
Oga ekt_bear,,Hmmmmn So eyin naa mo n pa e. Nice one. |
