^^ probably because I saw his daughter-in-law's nanny who had her scalp boiled off for being snotty. Hard to see that and not detest such a man. As for NATO going round the continent, its about time. Too many tyrants who need removal. About time we threw off the shackles. About time we chased away the false prophets. The prophets of doom who kept shouting that farmer jones would come back if we removed them. The same idiots who still shout colonialism while their wives and kin loot us through the back door. A pox on them and their bastard supporters. Mugabe & CO. As for the nigerian idiots who cannot read without being critical, your nationalism is twisted if it cannot see those ideologies for what they are. Awolowo was proved right at the end of the day, The sole point of any ideology should be the development of the average man and any crappy ideologies/ideologues that refuse to account for this will be consigned to the rubbish dump of history. So dont come here spewing some ultra-brain-dead anti-colonialist anti-imperialist neo-marxist deluded psychobabble-bull-shit. The NEW NIGERIA has no place for the sheep, the slogan-shouters of dead 70's economic philosophies. This is the generation of the pragmatic. The ones who are aware that Nigeria must do what is in her best interest not some stupid afro-centric philosophy that has gotten us nowhere. As the yoruba will say, If the flames are burning the mother and child, the mother saves herself before saving the baby. We have enough problems and should not be saving all manner of stupid tyrants just to satisfy the hate-filled wet-dreams of a jobless london-bred runaway nigerian. |
if only someone would tell this Ibo dude that we are not at war. |
elomi:frankly I would love to do that but I am too scared of other people's greed to do that. How do I know they wont send someone after me so that they wont have to share the billion? thot of getting a female partner but on second thot that might be worse. |
^^ they are not angels. but they are far better than a man who would recruit malian mercenaries to kill people and by so doing convince simple-minded (latently xenophobic anyway) libyans to lynch blacks on sight. Those blacks wouldnt have been there had ghadaffi allowed the evacuations to go on instead of attacking aid ships. |
Python nor be snake? Una dey do juju dia?. Anyway, shey dem dey sell Okada for the website?
lmao Oga no drop your passenger for gutter ehhh? how business? |
obviously some dollops still wish we had supported a tyrant too like our tyrant-kissing brothers from the south. As for the idiot who was defending Mugabe in a reply to my post, read about the Gukurahundi massacre and tell me that wasnt genocide. He didnt starve them, noooo, he ordered the 5th brigade to 'eradicate' them. Whether you like it or not, Nigeria has RECOGNIZED the N.T.C. Get over it. Thats how it will keep happening till all the 'strongmen'are removed. I pray the libyans ignore the Chadians and other client-states of ghadaffi when they come round begging for money. If chadians are smart, this is the time to remove the 'lil ghadaffi''. Gambians too should also do some target practice on that Jammeh dude. |
Your problem is that you cant think outside the box Why did CIA killed some of the best leaders Africa ever produced e.g Thomas Sankara, Patrice Lumumba,Sekou Toure and Kwame Nkrumah. They were all murdered by the west while they supported and imposed the bad leaders on Africans and this is happening in Libya today. They are ruling you by proxy but you both suffering from "Stockholm Syndrome" and you will never believe your masters can do such things
The Cold War was ongoing and the grass was getting gored while the elephants fought. Its a new world. About time you cleared your mind and got to work instead of parroting stuff read from 30 year old books |
Anybody who read this will surely know who suffers from a lazy thinking, Your thinking is just like the average human in a Nigerian society. Instead of you to explain your points you keep attacking people who do so.
its explanatory enough for anyone above primary school level. You lay blames on the west and ignore the demons-in-human-flesh (like Ghadaffi) among us . 2good:please keep telling them. They would rather blame anyone else excluding themselves. |
Signing in. Proud citizen of a 150-million strong nation that does not blindly support tyrants to gain rep. Proud citizen of a country that has shed the blood of its citizens to protect its region and continent while the rest talked shop. proud that Nigeria recognized the libyan aspirations for freedom and recognized the true Government of the people, built with the people's blood, for the people of libya. Shout yourselves hoarse, you are still going to have to recognize the NTC as the true libyan government. As for the south africans, you are steadily becoming the scorn of the earth. You claim freedom and pretend to be a rainbow nation but in actuality you would rather deny africans freedom in other parts of the continent. You keep supporting Mugabe's domination and cruelty to his people). You tried to keep Gbagbo in power ( said plan was thwarted by the regional superpower and most populous black nation Nigeria). you tried to keep Ghadaffi in power ( breaking news: He's out!!! and Nigeria has formally recognized his successors). And now as sore losers, you have succeeded in blocking humanitarian aid to libya (kicked against releasing $1.5bn to fund the new government). I foresee a few more embarassments on the way for you. I hope the NTC, once fully recognized by the international community, place a ban on Jacob Zuma and all members of the south african government. They should be forbidden from setting foot in Libya whether on SA business or AU business. As for the AU, talkshop of tyrant, this is just the beginning. As time goes on, the faces will be less and less familiar. God will remove all you tyrants one at a time. Uganda, Chad, Gambia, Equitorial Guinea, Angola, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, Togo and the rest of the tyrants. |
You are the definition of what MALCOM X called House Nigga Dont ever believe the hype,Afrika is way older than slavery and that is why i said take a book and read, The same colonial powers stole everything from Africa and made it the shamble of what it is today. There is a building in London its full of looted goods and its called British Museum, Most of the problems Africans are facing today is because of them. Its not only Africa, look at all the third world countries they have all suffered from the hands of the imperiaist who at one time invaded their countries.Untill these people finally hand over the power they have on Africa,we shall always be experiencing the problems we have now.
lazy thinking. We are our own problems not some bogey-man imperialist. |
He froze the site until he can get a webmaster to collaborate on it. Its distracting him and he needs someone who can code python to handle it. Nobody has volunteered so he has frozen it just like the earlier forum before nairaland (www.mobilenigeria.com) |
Such designs are wasted on men like me. All wedding dresses look the same to me. ![]() |
we dont want. They want to make illicit money from this. They should send it anywhere else. Lets not feed another generation of thieving soccer administrators. |
Another dummy post, What is good governance if you cant provide basic needs for your people? are my actually talking to a sane person? The Libya under brother leader Gaddafi had water, lights, free schools, free health care and no one in Libya is homeless and you still call the Man a dictator ?
Good governance is not only basic needs but also ensuring your people can reach the highest levels IF THEY SO WISH unencumbered by bad laws or unjust actions. Every libyan should be able to contest for contracts not just people selected on the whim of Ghadaffi. Every libyan should be able to enrich himself/herself to the limit of his ability not being held back by the Ghadaffi. Every libyan should have a right to rule his nation if necessary not having their every action watched by Ghadaffi. Every Libyan should have a say in what happens to the country of his birth. Yes he was a dictator. he killed his people severally. So so many disappearances and executions over the years. He sanctioned the rape of so many people during this uprising just to demoralise the opposition. he has been a pest to the african continent funding so many militant groups around africa and essentially causing chaos. he has been propping up so many african tyrants with libya's wealth(spending their birthright to enslave other people). his family has essentially been dominating 7 million other individuals and preventing them from exercising their free will. You are still making the same mistake I highlighted. They have more oil than Nigeria and less people than Kano city. there's more money per capita and any smart dictator would do the same. They all do( except for that idiot Mugabe). your BROTHER LEADER( I laugh) is a dollop and a fool. a lying thieving idot and a true scum of the earth. He deserves any insults he gets. All you closet socialists are just pissed because he has been revealed for the looter he is. wesley80:You are most blessed. |
If the city of lagos has the oil wealth of nigeria, constant light goes without saying. Even ghana with a higher population than libya has constant light so why not libya? You nigerians confuse basic necessities with good governance. |
Pure C.R.A.P. They can expel everybody but Mugabe will still get whats coming for him. Its better he quickly finds an excuse to die. GHADAFFI'S GONE and the searchlight is now on the other African sit-tight Leaders. Chad, Eritrea, Angola, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Gambia dont lose hope. Africa will be free. |
Dude's up on a mountain looking around with torchlights. Egbon e calm down!!!! Kilode!!! ROFLMAO |
You are deeply deluded. And you are a supporter of tyrants. In the name of being objective you have effectively crossed over to the other side. Ghadaffi would definitely have people chanting for him. at least, 1 million people marched for Abacha yet we all agree that they were coerced or bribed to do that. He has been playing tribal politics for 42 years and as such will definitely have people who feel kinship to him irrespective of his crimes. May God forgive all you tyrant-followers (Mugabe fans included and all the other sit-tight tyrants in africa). |
Completely agree. Good morning to you too. |
gulfer:1 out 4 is not a pass mark. I have not defended them at all. I am simply stating the obvious. Only 1 out of the things I listed is permitted. The government has refused to provide the rest (OBJ included). This whole discussion is about the merit of his idea not whether I like him or not (I couldnt care less who he is or what he's doing). I firmly believe it has merit and I am defending it solely on that basis. more radio stations is better. Unless you actually see radio stations as a backward tradition irrespective of the number. Wake up and smell the roses, radio is still around and evolving. in fact, if all goes well, we should see it evolve into a more interactive format. Thats how to develop, by taking in good ideas, irrespective of the origin. |
Not for the shy and the foolish |
Kobojunkie:to paraphrase ralph waldo emerson: Nature does not suffer to live that which cannot fend for itself. Its actually a blessing. Now the AU and constituent countries will have to learn to stand on their own. |
gulfer:wrong deduction again. not rather than. in addition to Marwa in addition to Metro buses. Community radio in addition to FRCN Local power in addition to PHCN PTOs in addition to NITEL(done already and we can appreciate this one). |
Are we saying there are no commercial monitoring satellites covering the west african subregion? Why spend so much to launch something we use only occasionally? In business this is called the make-or-buy decision. if its not used so frequently why make it in-house when you can rent at intervals? you might have other opinions but it doesnt make sense to me. |
gulfer:wrong deduction. FRCN ==> PHCN==> NITEL Community radio ==> Local Power stations.==> Private Telcos |
gokuu:It is precisely because they require huge capital outlays that we wont see everyone building theirs. It will not result in wanton wastage because no bank will loan you money to build a parallel track between two destinations where there's already one or where it wont be profitable. The market itself will not allow it. |
This is a running list and we will remove as time goes on/the respective webmasters make changes. Please note I am not claiming mastery over web design but at the same time I detest C.R.A.P. I am nominating the CSCS website. http://www.cscsnigerialtd.com Why? because I have had irritating experiences * logging into stranger's sessions (thank God we cant transact anything with that application, It would have been a disaster). * database leaks showing contact information for so many users (this was quite irritating because I called up the web admin and the response was rude to say the least. So nonchalant. ). * crappy-looking pages. The webmaster that installed that LifeRay CMS for them needs to be caned. |
KnowAll:Can you confirm that they did not seek approval from the NRA? If you can prove to me that any individual with the finances can set up a rail company, then I will delete it. |
You do agree that independent media is one of the indices of development. Community-focused radio is not a sign of development but a tool of development. That will not happen as long as the government stifles such. It should be easier to set up radio stations and certain bands should be released for enthusiasts with the right tools. Over-regulation serves no purpose and as currently constituted, the law is just plain rent-seeking (economists reading this should not jump on me. am not one) as its just focused on making as much money as possible from licenses. read NCC laws and see how they charge radio transmissions. Its strictly for the rich. I agree he should have done something about it when he was in power but he was busy whacking his bellefull at the time. |
Football: The nigerian Football Association is essentially an appendage of the nigerian Government. Football is not allowed to flourish on its own and is riven with the same gross corruption and favouritism inherent in our current system. I firmly believe a NFA run solely by private club owners will have a hard time justifying a team delegation of 100+ officials to visit a worldcup event. In fact they wont fund such waste and they will definitely recruit the best coach their money can buy. Not people selecting coaches based on their political abilities or corrupt selfish reasons. |
Railways: The Nigerian Railway Act forbids private individuals and companies from operating any form of rail transport and vests all control in the hands of the Nigerian Railways Authority, a moribund, corrupt and generally under-performing authority. |
