nairalands most popular troll. keep up the good work. |
AjanleKoko:yep. circa 2007. |
ahem, what social services specifically? ![]() |
A lie oft repeated becomes the truth ----hitler |
vedaxcool:It should be obvious to you that the post was written before you went back to modify it. Nice try. better luck next time. |
Pennywise:so far, we have concluded he's an attention seeking nut. vedaxcool:Every adult man in lybia is required to serve at least 2 years military service so they are not as "poorly trained" as you think. besides they were aided by defecting military units otherwise they would have been overrun a long time ago. You do more thinking. Besides you are talking about a region where a man can set himself on fire and by so doing liberate a nation. Your external models and beliefs dont count. |
@kingsleyuk2003 codeigniter is already OOP. Your controllers and models are classes, your drivers are classes and abstract classes. only your views are procedural and infact they can also inherit attributes from each other. check http://toys.lerdorf.com/archives/38-The-no-framework-PHP-MVC-framework.html and http://blogs.sitepoint.com/2008/08/29/rasmus-lerdorf-php-frameworks-think-again/ to know what Rasmus Lesdorf (PHP inventor) said about Codeigniter's speed and efficiency. it allows you to do what you want with the least bit of effort. |
lagcity:you are blessed. |
And I guess you do it for free too. Thats why they have supervisors, you are still participating in corruption. capisce. |
@aguiyi dont think I cant come and catch you in Diobu or Eleme. you are not too far for punishment. |
Omolola1:So we can assume you attend(ed) one. Anyway am a bit pricky because thats my alma mater. Guess my theory has not yet come to pass yet (that a larger population will affect their parochial laws) anyway that hasnt stopped me going this far. However, while the penniless ones will come here to gain some mileage by insulting schools they cant afford to attend, I hope the poster knows he's embarassing the people displayed in that picture. at least do some minor microsoft paint work on the picture before posting(basic courtesy). |
rebranded:we successfully proved during the yaradua era that a serving president is not necessary for this country to keep running. Beaf:ROFLMAO |
Money With No Conscience is Worthless. You make money by aiding incompetent people to gain certificates fraudulently. you are no different from a yahoo boy. |
old news. they were even rearing a virtual kid too. the real kid was too much bother. |
lekside44:Soon? already being done in countless places. It still requires IT because While the doctors make use of it to achieve their own ends, IT (as service providers) will still play a role. |
Grey Beard:No argument is complete without a crackpot to spice things up. |
And yet you wonder why muslims sometimes feel the need to kill. this is provocation. It seems britain has become a hot bed of gay perverts seeking to force religions/faiths to accept them. That Macaulay rascal (house of rainbow church) is also based in the UK. I guess the countdown to the end has begun. |
cant imagine the amount of work that must have gone into customising joomla to create this. Nice work. |
Kobojunkie:where have you been dear? the Great Leader already did. Sheesh. ROSSIKE:we can always trust you to come in with hormone-fueled insults. ROSSIKE:trust you to ignore issues and attack personalities. |
Really? How come they still end up winning?
Winning what exactly? lets do a rough count shall we. Pre-modern times: They got beaten by Richard Lionheart, The mongols, Alexander, The Original Egyptians etc. Modern times: 1948 israel vs all the arabs. Winner: Israel 1953 season 2 of the preceding Winner: Israel 1967 blockburster season 3: 6 Day War Winner: Israel 1973 Yom Kippur War Winner: Israel 1982 Lebanese Civil War Winner: Israel And Allies. 1987-89 Iran(persians) vs Iraq (Arabs) Winner: Iran 1990 Gulf War I: Allied Forces(mostly european and american) Vs Iraq Winner: Allied forces 2001/2: Gulf War II: (drumroll) US. Thats an awful number of wars lost. They are more suited hit and run, pin prick cowardly raids. |
The AU cant because it was largely bankrolled by Ghaddafi and besides he propped up most of their governments including Gambia and Chad. Jammeh is simply playing to the gallery and he should be next in line when we start "Toppling Dictators Africa --Season 1" |
@OP no point in trying to rile us against Israel. They are not responsible for your fear in europe. Its your policies that are coming back to haunt you. Scripture as quoted by joagbaye clearly proves their status irrespective of your personal opinion. However thats no reason to support criminal actions but at the same time, I will not mount a campaign so I can placate arabs who would rather massacre every last jew. As far as israel not being any better, i beg to differ. pick any Arab/Middle Eastern non-jewish country and we will have a long list of crimes to lay onthem that would make the Gaza incursions look like child's play. Is it Saddam's attack on Iran killing 500,000 people or Turkey's massacre of the armenians or jordan's large scale persecution of the palestinians (not widely known) or the way they are treated in lebanon and syria. its easy to blame israel because they are the only sensible government in the neighbourhood but hard to realise that there are few other democracies in the world that have had to survive with the same kind of pressures that israel is coping with at the moment. definitely some of their actions are the end-results of external aggression. Or to bring it home, are you saying they shouldnt have struck back at the guys that launched Grad rockets recently (while Israel was distracted by Iranian ships) to satisfy Israel-bashers like you. Besides its hard to be even-handed when surrounded by people who vow to push you into the sea (Hamas), deny you the right to exist (Iran), deny that your ancestors perished (Iran and UK Nationalist parties Holocaust denial) fire rockets at your children (pick your choice), refuse to trade with you over something that happen in '67(Saudi, Oman, etc) and continually plan your demise. |
not to worry. the nigerian contingent just left sokoto en route libya with molue and wheelbarrows to conduct a daylight operation. they should be there any week now. ![]() |
@seunthomas PWNED!!!!!!! ![]() |
Only if you have built a network in school otherwise you are just like every one else. I work for a high-paying nigerian firm and I have friends from the same class working for NLNG, Oando, Zain, MTN, CBN, AIICO etc. Granted there are people who have not gotten in yet but consulting firms seem to like us though. Visit KPMG and see lots of Covenant and Bowen Univ students. same for Accenture and PWC. besides the smaller class size means that info flows much faster and you can hear of job openings faster. for example, anytime my company asks staff to recommend new employees, I send invites to all friends and in a matter of hours you see CVs pouring in from other schoolmates that I dont even know. its all about your personal network but since your classmates are usually kids of CEOs, senators and Entrepreneurs, getting a job is usually a matter of 'Daddy' talking to his buddies at Ikoyi Club. |
@Poster because you tried and failed doesnt make the truths contained within the book invalid. If I recall correctly, Kiyosaki mentioned the fact that you have to adapt to your own environment. the key message of that book is the need to increase your financial intelligence and understand how to use leverage (if necessary). clearly there are aspects that were not meant for us because our stock market and real estate run differently but he's still right. He says banks like to give money to people that need it least. He's right. He says real estate is one of the best investment vehicles. he's right. He says cars and other non-money making purchases are liabilities, he's right. You say your uncle bought cars and built houses in the village without investing in money making things. well, that was an example of someone who saved without investing and had lower financial intelligence. He says you can get great ideas by simply riding or jogging round your neighbourhood and opening your eyes. i believe that. In fact only yesterday did i realise that there were no cybercafes in my area and no places where PC parts are sold. among other profitable observations. If you approach it with an entirely critical eye, you wont gain. besides, you might be blessed with a little wealth later on, enough to travel to the US and invest. This is the age of globalization, so its not entirely impossible. a little advance knowledge would help. enough said. |
please join so we can kill you off with the next available conflict. at least the figure for unemployed youths will be reduced and we can recruit the next set for 'processing'. |
I am a programmer and a doctor's son. I can assure you that though I admire both fields, I dont see any reason why we should compare. Nigerians have this habit of useless/senseless competition. I nearly became a doctor(besides the "inheritance" mentality) because of the studiousness I observed. Programmers may not deal with life but doctors do. The room for error is lower. You can program from a reference manual or do google copy and paste but the day you are wheeled into a theatre to be treated by a doctor whose source of knowledge is YouTube, run for the hills (even with anaesthesia in the system). If only we programmers could gain encyclopedic knowledge of our chosen languages, techniques and frameworks the way doctors do we would be so so great. I daresay if Nigerian programmers (myself included) read half as much as the average medical student, this country would be a giant in the IT field. That said, there are few fields in this world where Davids can kill Goliaths like in IT. There is no other course that possesses the freedom of thought, applicability, creativity and dynamism like the IT field. Ever met a freelance programmer? thats one of the most entrepreneurial human beings you will be priviledged to meet (besides insurance agents, bank marketers and jewelry sellers). The emphasis on logical thought and detail also make disciplined IT people relatively versatile and rational. It is a fact that while people worship doctors (go to a village and see how NYSC doctors live large), every one admires a true IT genius. there's just that aura of being with a "hallowed one" when in contact with such PC magicians. The moral: lets not compete but learn from each other. Let the doctor learn our understanding of abstract structures and use it to improve the science of medicine and let us gain the academic practices of the doctors and use it to become true greats within our own field. |

@wedapeople Then in that case, oblige me by leaving the exhortation aside. In a few concise statements, outline what you would like us to do. Bullet points please. 1. Intended Outcome 2. Suggested Plan of Actions. 3. Likely Target(s) 4. Likely Risks. 5. Resources needed. Simple and straightforward talk. |
