Hearme: Most eloquent is Segun Oni(Ekiti)Is Segun Oni still Governor of Ekiti? |
Intelligent peeps in the house, i want to know in your opinion the first four governors in Nigeria that you think is politically intelligent, eloquent and confident when in public functions, and when delivering a speech. To me, my first four goes in these order: *Chibuike Amaechi (Rivers) *Rochas Okorocha (Imo) *Muazu Aliyu Babangida (Niger) *Osho baba (Edo) may take the fourth. Kindly state yours. Thanks.
Dr Kayode Fayemi is by far the most intelligent and eloquent Governor in Nigeria. Unfornuately, Ekiti State is hardly in the news. You guys can follow this man, his works and views on our polity. |
idowuswap: See how yoruba boy dey go forward in musik.but i never hear say musician use igbo or hausa language sing and popular but only yoruba lang.its trueYou don't have to bring tribe into every topic. Doing this will only worsen the mistrust and hatred amongst the ethnic Nationalities. Being Yoruba does not mean I have to listen to talentless 'Pretenders' like Kayswitch, Davido et al. |
Eko Ile: Look at this ignorant fool again. It's already been established that nearly all the projects commissioned by the state is on the mainland and not the island. You don't have to insult him for expressing his fears. I'll feel the same way, if I am indegenious to Lagos. The guys from Isale Eko have to go as far as Ogun state to rent/build their houses. I think there should be a provision for indigenes of the state. I had a friend from Isale who was jobless years after graduation. The guy in question is a Banking and Finance graduate, yet he couldn't get a job in any of the Banks on Marina/Broad street. This would happen in the N/delta or SE. |
8ogoegbunam: I got married early this year. My wife is a sweet lady, loving and caring lady. The only major problem we face in our young union is religoius issues. I was brought up in the anglican faith while she grew up a catholic. She promised me that she will attend attend the same church with me once we got married, her only condition is that I should wed her in the catholic church. Amidst great opposition from my parents who were against it initially on the basis of religion, I fullfilled my promise to her by holding our wedding in the catholic church.Yours is a sad story. It is unfortunate you got married to a dishonest Lady. Go on your kneels and ask God for direction, not forgetting that God hates divorce. |
Tafugo: What the f--k. Dangote is the cause of the high cement prices in Nigeria period.Who is he trying to fool.please don't believe the hype.after stifling other cement importers and crashing their businesses he now wants to hand out crumbs. The cement business is a Mafia business and the cartel is headed by Aliko.what brains do you need to import cement into Nigeria, why do you need a licence to import cement into Nigeria. The only way cement prices will crash is if like most other products importation of cement into the country is truely liberalised, and any Nigerian can import the product in 25, 50 kg or jumbo bags without fear or favor.this way cement prices will crash to the realistic price of 1,000 Naira. Or even 800 Naira at any port in Nigeria. We shouldn't be importing cement at this age. Limestone conswtitutes @least 80% of cement, and we have it in abundance. |
Tittos: And if we eradicate the yorubas the world will be perfect..that is the paradise god has promised us..And did he tell you he is Yoruba? There are 250+ ethnic groups in Nigeria. |
truely the phcn is trying..right nw in Enugu agbani road to be precise, since i was born i have not witnesed steady power suply for atleast a day but since friday ...wow na so i dey off dey on my refrigerator which to me is unbelievable[/quote When were you born? |
jorge1980: It seems the pretense is over with GTbank. I had issues using the internet banking platform for a couple of days trying to transfer funds from on gt acct to another. I did this without success and decided to call the customer service center.@Poster, which bank do you work for? You do not have to demarket a competitor to draw customers to your bank. GTB is still miles ahead of the rest. |
JANK23H: These are just some parts of Ado-Ekiti,it's not a true reflection of the state.Ekiti is the most backward state in the southwest. There is nothing there.I served there so i know.Have you been to Osogbo? |
fellory: Kete omo ekiti e ku ati joo. Please I need to know if fayemi is actually performing well.that guy was really hyped and I would like to know if he is all dat abi na only grammarI travelled to Ado-Ekiti last weekend. I must confess am impressed with the level of transformation going on in the state capital. But, most people on ground do not really agree with me. Sometimes I get confused if people can ever be satisfied. I was told Ado-Ilawe-Igbara-odo road has been reconstructed. I can have a jolly good ride to my hometown. |
Nice pics. But it's not enough to post beautiful things about Ekiti, without making any contribution to the development of the state. |
naijathings: there is nothing beautiful about this. or do you consider this beautiful? fake hair, fake eye lashes, fake shin color (photoshop), fake nails, fake fake fake. let us talk about true African beauty. Omotola, Onyeka, Stella damacus, Sandra Achums. Please add to the list instead of promoting this fake "thing" eeeew yuck *i just puked*Sandra wetin? That fat and ugly LovePeddler. |
blink182: Na wa o, e be like say I go hold N1m enter china, buy unbranded tablets and name them 'tatafo' make BBC show me for TV.It will interest you to know that Samsung, and other asian tablet makers also run on google android. The guy has not claimed to be an inventor, but an entrepreneur. |
mikeapollo: This is what you get when people are ignorant, shallow thinking and praise medicocrity!Eh yah! Why don't you go back to your village. |
Maryspeck: Please my name should not be mentioned. My boyfriend said he needs a break and when I asked him why he said because we are moving too fast.He is just tired! The guy does not want to waste your time. He was only interested in sleeping with you, and he was to move to the next victim. |
afam4eva: Did a Nigerian ever play forr Barrcelona??Yes, when you were small. |
I hope you are aware of the internally generated revenue of Lagos State.I can tell you that in relative terms, Fashola is not performing well in Lagos State. If some other low income State Governors can manage the huge resources that accrue to Lagos State on monthly basis, you will never mention Fashola's name when it comes to performance. Its obvious many of us don't take cognizance of income disparity among the 36 States of the Federation before drawing conclusions on who is the best Governor. Aside from the fact that Lagos State Internally generated revenue is higher than that of Imo State, kindly look at the monthly Federal allocation that goes to each state on monthly basis with particular reference to Imo and Lagos States and get back to me asap.
The IGR Lagos generates every month, is nothing compared with what Rivers, Bayelsa and Akwa Ibom states get as 13% derivation. Apart from Akpabio, Ameachi, and Bayelsa governor are both failure. The Ameachi guy, is just one empty loud mouth. |
pheemmii: You don't have any information about Citibank, it is a subsidiary of CITIGROUP. Try to visit one of their branches and see what they can offer you.. A trial will convince you. Did you ever heard of Standard Chartered Bank b4? Pls do find out also, tanx.Standard Chartered ko, Scatter scatter ni. Yeye Slave drivers. |
abubello: i think you should include Dangote Cement and Innoson Motors in your top 10Innoson ke! As laudable as the idea is, I don't think you will want to drive their cars. |
VellyG: igbos no dey carry last..My bro Nwanna Uti go there carry money come back, kelvin and karen the same.but yorubas don try luck twice fall nigeria hand. Bayo(BBA1) and Goldie obviously lost focus on the cash and paid more attention to unrealistic tins..Its a shame to see a celeb cry on stage like goldie did.Clap for ya sef Mr Bigot. So Karen Igho is now Ibo abi? Thank God she isn't Yoruba. |
Why she be like this? Is this how she looks, cause I haven't seen her video b4. She keep face like pepero. |
What! I sabi this gal for bajulaiye, her mum once produced a movie. I wonder when she became a Samsung big, though it's not impossible. |
Fhuck GLO!! ![]() The Yoruba Network cost me a shitload of money..
Bigot! |
Obijulius: And since the bulk of our revenue comes from oil, with Ijaw land contributing almost 80% what's ur challenge. Lemme ask u, do u think Shell MD should be a yoruba man, super-bigot/tribalist.The MD of Shell, Mr Mutiu Sumonu is from Edo state. Just like the one b4 him Basil Omiyi, and the powerful ex-DMD Herberth Imomoh. |
antitpiah: Yoruba intelligentsia at work. This isn't right! |
looplat: Five Yoruba banks and the other two from old western region. We are the best.Bros, must we tribalise everything? Smh........... |
queensmith: Hmmm - all i know is we ekiti people are told to stay away from all of youMy folks advised me against marrying the gals. I no fit wash pants oo. |
So basically he got rid of a yoruba(southerner) and gave the position to a northerner. Then gave one of his ijaw brothers(since according to him there is no other group in the ND but his people) a position, Abiye Membere. Wow, big change, excuse the sarcasm. Tribalistic retard who is the north's new b!tch.[/quote @Chyz*, Austin Oniwon is an Egbira Man and not Yoruba. Looking at the list, there are Ijaw men from Rivers state. Abiye Membere, and Victor Briggs. This only confirms that this goverment is a goverment of the Ijaws, by the Ijaws, and for the Ijaws. |
I wonder how Access bank got on the list....cos is one of the most f*cked up place to work in Nigeria. They have a very good CEO, a visionary with impecabble integrity. But beyond, there is nothing like work/life balance in Access bank. And you are lucky if you have a supervisor that allow you to close at 7.0 pm even if you resume at 6 am.
Did you just say 'impeccable integrity'? Am looking forward to the day Nigerians would stop licking asses. How could someone call Aig-Imokhuede Visionary CEO 'with impecable' integrity. This guy was just a bloody marketer that rose fast in GTB. Maybe he has 'integrity' like Facrook. |
Mandelaguy: Brazilian President to lead delegation of businessmen to NigeriaHow much are you paid for this propaganda? |
This country is on the path of disintegration |
