PoliticsRe: The Economist On Naija Fuel Subsidies by kolexy(m): 6:15pm On Jan 04, 2012
Ocean and Oil bought majority stake in the former Unipetrol

Ocean and Oil was founded by Wale Tinubu, Omamofe Boyo, and Onajite Okoloko(Ibori's point man in Econet and Notore).

Oando has nothing to do with Bola Tinubu.

FamilyRe: She Has Invested So Much In Me. Now She Want Marriage And I Dont Love Her Anymore. by kolexy(m): 7:36pm On Dec 05, 2011
This is pure wickedness. How could you date someone for SIX YEARS, only to turn back that you don't love her! Haba!

I once dated a girl, and we both love each other. But because I wasn't fully okay marrying her, we had to part ways. She wept and pleaded, but I made her realize it better for us to separate now than later. We broke up, not because I found someone else, but becos I do not want to make mistakes.

It is selfish to keep someone you don't love for six years. Bros you must Marry her by force.

CultureRe: Why Can't Nigerians Teach Their Children Their Language? by kolexy(m): 5:29am On Nov 15, 2011
It is not just a problem amongst kids born/raised abroad. I had friends who could speak Yoruba while growing up in Akure. Infact I felt embarred when I discovered one of our family friends had difficulty pronouncing Yoruba names after secondary school.

I think the problem is the fact that some parents think raising their kids with English only will make them better than other People's Kids.

I'll tell you it is a big lie!

PoliticsRe: The Worst State Capital You Have Visited by kolexy(m): 5:29pm On Nov 12, 2011
The kind of comment I have seen so far shows Nigerian know little about their country.

I have been to several state capitals; benin, PH, Ibadan, Owerri, Lokoja, Akure, Osogbo, Jos, Kaduna, and Abeokuta.

I'll say Abeokuta is the Worst., and Akure is my favourite.

My Ado-Ekiti (My state capital) is also shitty. Though it is better than Abe-idotin and Lokoja.
